I personally am learning quite well, unlike the few others in the other reviews. Teachers do certainly teach well if you pay attention and practice on your own. Counselors are very nice and willing to talk if they are available of course. Overall my pass four years of experience are astounding and Id just put in the work to make it that way, dont expect it to be given.

This School Is Cheeks. Literally 2 years ago there’s been a shooting threat, there’s been 11 fights in the first month of this year (not exaggerated), If I could review this school in egg rolls I would give it a 10 out of 10 and that’s because the egg rolls are garbage. This school also has something called pack cards but no one gives any out so they are literally rendered useless, nothing but a waste of trees on a fictitious currency based around holding a door open. Also, there’s groups of guys just standing inside and outside of the restrooms as if it’s the cool new hang out, right next to the toilet but it’s whatever.

The school is pretty good but way to many kids go here that they need to have 2 lunches A and B. The teachers really dont care about the students except for one Mr.Breceda. He is a great teacher and if there were more like him I would give the school a 4

This school is the worst ... I have tried calling them for over a week with leaving numerous messages on their automated voicemail... no one ever calls back and even with reaching out to the district office... worse communications at this point in the school year I will have to wait it out but never in 15 years of children in school have I ever had such a problem reaching the office.

It was a pretty good school when i attended from 2006-2010. it was pretty new back then but i dont know about now

I am a student at la joya who plans on transferring as soon as possible, why? well because this school is filled with uneducated staff who do not care about the students but only the money they get from making there students take unnecessary test that they do not need. that is just the being of it they also have counselors who act like they are under the influence of drugs, they do not know half of what they should and do not even know how to answer simple questions an average student would ask. my counselor needed to be reminded 2-3 times a day of stuff I had asked her of information I need but never gave to me and always stated that she needed to get around to do it. One major thing was she played around with my schedule making me take classes i did not need then when i asked her to get out of them, she stated I could not. I soon found out these regular electives would be charge a fee and know know why she would not let me out of the class until I stated I could not pay for the class then a free class popped up that I could take but was not available before because they thought I would pay. so overall this school wants your children to attend so they can take money out of your pockets and out it in theirs. I highly suggest you do not enroll your children here because what I just told you is only 25% of the problems I had here.

Very judgmental high school Ive ever been to. Lots of teachers are just there for a pay check. Bless the teachers that are there for the students and their academic work.

Worst staff in arizona! The athletic department is a joke. This school does not care about students at all. Pretty bad when the best teacher is in credit retrieval. I wouldnt send my dog to this school.

Good, wbu? This school is trash been here Freshmen-Senior and I learned more about rules than anything helpful, YouTube and Brainly is where I learned the most, so check those places out.
