Results may vary depending on which barber you get. I had lengthy hair and asked for an undercut with a fade. The fade was fine but the barber ended up cutting the top too short and uneven all over the place. Unfortunately, I didnt notice the hack job until I got home and washed out the product that was put in. And the barber put more attention to his phone than my cut.

Today was the 3rd time Ive been to El Barber and Ive had 3 different people cut my hair. Still havent received what I asked for & and today the guy cut my beard & I didnt ask for it. He took a huge chunk of my beard and let me walk out without fixing it. This was the last straw!! GARBAGE!!

This place is clean and each station is sanitized after each customer. Good haircut too!

The place was amazingly clean. The staffs were very much accommodating and welcoming. I didnt get to get my Barbers name though... but hes cool and was nice tk have a good converse with him. Good on you El Barber! Will deffinitely come back...

Over the phone experience was terrible, felt very uncomfortable speaking over the phone and placing an appointment, sounded like she doesnt like her job, get staff with better communication skills or dont let those ones pick up the phone

Had an important event coming up so i needed to look fresh. Luis gave me super clean haircut just like I asked for. He even gave me some healing cream for my injured knee. Really nice shop too, worth the extra bucks if you have something important you need to look good for.

El Barber is the best shop around all the barbers are good can give you the cut you want. Weather its scissors & comb high and tight they can handle it all. Also I like that everybody’s friendly in the shop which you don’t get a lot of in most barbershops you’re happy and comfortable when you walk in. My barber is Luis he’s the man top notch consistent cuts can do scissors and comb designs in the head take tapers and feeds hit them up for your next cut.

Ive been a customer for about a year now and the service leaves nothing to be desired. I pay $20 for my hair cut and $1500 for my beard, a little pricey yes but well worth it since my girl loves the beard. Its proprietor Luis is friendly sort that cares about his craft and his patrons and it shows in his impeccable style and the west side story feel to his establishment. Come experience the cut.

This morning my 12 yo son had his haircut by Gabriella and he could not be more pleased. After the haircut, he raved about how kind she was to him. I got there over an hour before closing and was hurried out by the barber because I didnt have an appointment.. as Im walking toward the door, the barber hurries me out even faster because he wanted to go outside and hit on a girl who was walking by (I was in his way). They lost a customer today for sure.

This shop has good people that give good service but always that one person seems to be keeping them down with the customer service rating. Third time being here and twice been turned away because they only take reservations and hes booked later in the afternoon. I showed up at 10am with no one in the shop or in his chair but yet they have a sign thats lit up open on the window.

Absolutely horrible service. Waited for an average amount of time, but the barber was the worst. Also, the place is cash only, but dont expect them to give you any indication. When I tried to pay with my card, my barber very much yelled that I had no money, which was rude. Haircuts are average price but the service ruins the shop.

2nd time at this place and they continue to be nice and friendly. My go to place for hair cuts. I recommend this place

I took my 14 year old teenage son Pablo here for his birthday in hopes of getting a great haircut of his choice, with top shelf customer service. Instead, we got a tough guy who really lacks customer service skills, unprofessional bad attitude. Give the customer exactly what they want instead of complaining because its out of your personal convenience. You are being paid. The only one who should be complaining is the customer, not the barber. I always tip well above average, but with the service we received, never again. If its such an inconvenience to give the customer exactly what they request, why not say Im sorry Ill have to charge a little extra. Which would of been totally fine with us. Obviously your personal convenience was more important than giving the customer the best experience and exactly what they want. Rushing, & doing halfass work super unprofessional. Try conversating too that would be nice. We will take our business to a much better barbershop. You lost way more than a client. Rookie move on your behalf.

Love their appointment process. Lorena fixed my previously bad haircut from another barber. A little on the pricey side but very well worth it.

Even though the establishment is nice and all my first time experience was not the same. The barber who took care of me left my hair horrible. Patches and all. I could tell they were very nervous when cutting my hair due to their shaking hands and the 3 different times I asked if they could fix it up until i saw that there was no point anymore. I paid the fee and left the establishment. I may possibly come here again later on but not to be attended by the same barber. I have been looking for a new local barber shop since I dont work out in LA anymore. I heard about this place. So I stopped by around 630pm. Wow, what a professional experience from the minute I walked in the afternoon to make an beard trim appointment for 5:15 pm the same day the experience only grew into a 5 star beard trim experience. I was greeted immediately by the only barber who was shaving/cutting her master piece on a clients head who excused herself to make my appointment for 5:15 pm. Here’s the 5th star- I walked in at 5:05 pm and at 5:15 Catalina finished up the final touches on her client and called me! The reason I’m amazed because I’ve made several appointments at other barbershops and still had to wait another 10 to 20 minutes MAJOR PLUS Catalina was extremely professional and offered her expertise and actually knew how to cut/trim a beard!! Many barbers and/or stylists say they know how to trim beards and end up messing up my beard as if they had a Edward scissors hand fingers :0 Catalina used a hot towel, razor and all the fixings to make my beard look RIGHTEOUS! Even fixed up my beard from the last barbers mutilation! Thanks Catalina. I will be back. Ask for Catalina
