I went their in 96 and was the first graduating class. All my siblings have went there and now my own children. I love this school.

Endeavor is an AMAZING school. The staff really care about the students and go above and beyond.

Your yearly track meet held at the school with out notice to the neighborhood this year, held 2 months earlier than usual after the community had been assured in previous years that it is held the same week in May, always. The school uses a starting gun that causes distress and subsequent injury to pets that have anxiety issues. The school has been made aware of it and refuses to accomodate this, the principal unsympathetic and snide. How are people supposed to prepare for this? Prevetative measure can be taken, but not with out notice! Why does an elementary school need to use a starting gun? Is it not a violation of the weapons restrictions of the school district? If kids get disaplined for playing with toy guns, or even pretending to fire a gun, what message is it sending to have a gun on campus? How about the military veterens in the neighborhood that may be suffering from PTSD? Imagine the damage that could do? Your lack of compassion, empathy, and consideration of the community is appalling. Whistles work just fine and have been used for decades on school campuses. They can be heard over the shouts of children. You dont use a starting gun at recess do you? Promoting exercise, athleticism, and competition is commendable but your execution should be revised.
