A nice elementary school right off of rossdale highway the features that have changed compared to its map pictures is that it has gained solar panels in the parking lot. As for activities that go on here there are events that are hosted out of this school so heads up if you are curious why people show up here after dark.

After moving from a school 1/2 the size my daughter was originally overwhelmed by Independence. She soon settled in and made friends. In less than a month she preferred her new school to her old one... My son was also enrolled at the district special education preschool located in Independence... He loved the class and so did I but coming from out of state he was re-evaluated and was not considered eligible for the preschool class. Thats my only gripe... Special Ed is harder to get into in California than Colorado.
