David is an amazing instructor. Hes amazing with kids and the kids love him. Love going here because of the family environment. His wife is also amazing they both make you feel welcome and David has so much patience with kids. I truly recommend them .

Really enjoyed working with JC. He taught me several standing Brazillian jiu jitsu techniques including ones that I could use against a knife as well as striking combinations and concepts. He was also qualified to answer some pretty unusual questions about fighting. Overall I found the lesson to be flexible and effective. I would suggest contacting this place via text being that thats how we had most of our conversations.

It is a satisfying feeling knowing you could defend yourself if ever in a situation of being attacked. As a female college student taking night classes I felt more at ease walking to my car in the dark parking lot after taking the Kung-Fu class provided at Bakersfield Elite Martial Arts. I really recommend taking the kung-fu classes they are geat .

I am a musician who plays in Bakersfield late at night and travels to strange and unknown cities to play shows late at night. This being a recipe for trouble, I decided to check out what this martial arts school could offer me for self defense purposes. I started taking Kung Fu San Soo under Master Woods (who just goes by David or Dave) and have continued these classes for almost two years.The classes are addicting! Not only am I faster, stronger, and more confident than ever before, but I feel much more psychologically prepared for whatever bad things may happen while Im out on the road. You might see people getting thrown around and think that serious injury happens all the time, but in my two years I have seen no injury that has kept the individual out of class. Best of all, I have come across a community of quality people who I am glad to know.If youre on the line about taking classes, I encourage you to come in and try out a few of these classes. Ill bet that you will get addicted too!

I have tried the free classes for 1 week, and it was really informative, educative and fun. The whole idea of this Kungfu San Soo is to be able to defense your self when you are attacked. All the styles the teacher, Dave taught is really simple, and easy to understand, and practicable the whole time when you are on the road. It also adds a confidence to me when I was walking or doing work by myself, especially as a woman who ever being attacked by a bad guy and didnt know what to do. With the practice of this kungfu, it really helps me learning how to defense my self and family. My kids are doing Muay Thai as the basic, and they would soon do Kungfu when they are older enough, cant wait. If you are going to try for a class and thinking about a safety of you and family, you should try this class, it was awesome. I just love it. :)
