My daughter has unfortunately attended a few too many preschools in Bakersfield and Olive Knolls has by far been the best experience her and I have had! My daughter has excelled here and the staff have always been friendly and very helpful! I am very happy with my decision to place my daughter here and would recommend this school for anyone! Mrs. Alicia is amazing!!! I hope she comes back next year!

Amazing school! Definitely one of Bakersfields hidden gems. If youre looking for a solid school with the best Christ centered education, strong curriculum and an award winning robotics program OKCS is the school for you! ;)

So far this school has taught my son ALOT. He gets smarter everyday that passes. I have only been here since school started this year but I absolutely love his teacher Mrs Parker. The only complain I have is this school does not have its own bus. But thats all my complaints so far. My son loves school there and thats what matters to me. However I hope my son never gets lost like the prior comment I seen on here. Wow scary

I wish I could rate lower. We had an excellent experience in the daycare, but once my son moved over to pre-school, it was a whole different story. His teacher was very sweet and clearly cared about the students. Unfortunately, nobody else seemed to, especially administration. The principal was out of the country, so we primarily dealt with the vice principal after my son was lost in another classroom for almost an entire day and nobody knew. A total of 5 adults (2 teachers and 3 aides) were unaware that he was either an extra student or missing. All I heard from the VP were excuses and blame on only one of the teachers. I thought that was ridiculous. She had no concern whatsoever outside of one of the teachers and from my vantage point, there were certainly 5 accountable adults. The blame game did not work and I saw that this pre-school had full stars and felt like should post my experience. Since leaving that day, I have heard from about 4 other people who know of students going missing in other classrooms. As a parent, it is heart breaking to be brought to class after class and not to see your child. After the 6th class, it felt like our child could be the next face on an amber alert, fortunately he was in the next class. It could have been a MUCH different story, though.
