This school might be a great school BUT who ever is representing this school as in the person who replies to messages , emails etc is SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL ! Idk if it’s a woman or a man but the way they respond to questions / statements is extremely distasteful ! I couldn’t believe that I was speaking to someone with that kind of attitude towards common conversation. I WAS interested in this school being that it’s only 1 out of 2 natural hair schools in NYC, but after that conversation I think I’ll continue to look else where. Tuition is $3,995 , if someone is asking for info or inquiring about updates regarding the school due to Covid then I believe an answer should be given in the best tone possible. This person needs to take a class in how to speak to ppl that wants to come to this school. The reviews said this person is rude In regards to communication and now I believe it to be true . Why would anyone want to invest in something when the communication is trash and UNPROFESSIONAL ???? This experience was a complete turn off . Once again this school might be great but personal SUCKS !

This isnt a review but im noticing that the reviews arent coming from actual students just potential students. I would love to know the experience had here from people who went and graduated. when you see that a school has low ratings, naturally you dont want to apply. Im looking for a natural hair school to teach me more in hopes of having my own business one day. These reviews dont help at all .. so can any one whose went to this school, experienced the instructor and lessons write a review for potential students like me. this is extremely misleading ...

I’m writing this review after four days of filling out the online inquiry form and no contact being made also approximately four days after an unpleasant call to the number that’s associated with their website as well as their Google accountGranted we are shut down due to corona, but we are also a week away from the shutdown being lifted and I was trying to gather information about the school plans to continue their business after, while I put things in place to educate myself.When I called the number the individual who answered the phone had a tone as though she was bothered, unprofessional, didn’t even identify the school I had to ask was this the Beval beauty school. I then asked “may I ask questions about the school” she told me to go to the website and communicate there. So you have someone who is showing interest in your school and you tell them to go online? But again, this is day four after filling out the inquiry and day four after making the phone call and still not hearing anything back. I reached out to several other schools and I did not have this problem within one business day they reached out to me after filling out the online inquiry form and when I called they answer, and provided me information without a problem. I am confused as to how you can not answer a few questions from a potential student

Unlike the other reviews, I am an ACTUAL graduate of this school. I took the Natural Hair Styling program from October to December 2017 and today I passed my practical exam with FLYING colors! I Purposefully waited until my test to review because I wanted to give a full review. Ms. Beverley is fully licensed, thorough and meticulous. If you do the work she outlines, you will pass your state board test. She teaches you everything you need to know then has you repeat, repeat, repeat until you get it clearly in your head. The state board proctors were extremely impressed by my knowledge and handling of the exam. If you are serious about getting licensed, I would HIGHLY recommend Beval International Beauty School.

Cant enroll because of a lack of availability for the courses I wish to take. That is truly annoying because the prices are good.

Just spoke to a Beverly Chambers the director of the place also identified herself and the owner and this lady is really RUDE and is quick to get you off the phone.....smh I called to inquire about this school and asked if they have a nail program. She proceeded to say yes and then I asked how much was the program then she said you can go online and you can get all your information and pricing online because we dont discuss pricing over the phone, u would have to come in for that. Huh????? Ok. Then I asked if their program is full-time or part-time and she proceeded to say classes are M-Thurs from 6-9:30 and Sat I believe she said in the morning. So I asked is this full-time hrs so she tells me full-time is 24 hrs or more which wasnt an answer to my question so I said ok, so is your class full-time? Then her voice got loud and annoyed and said HOLD ON, HOLD ON LET ME LOOK AT THE PROGRAM then I said wait! Im sorry who am I speaking to? She said, Bevely Chambers. I am the director of this school and the owner!! So that was very weird how YOU are the director and owner and dont know any answers without looking at ur program!? Is this a joke!? Someone here is lieing or u have a director/owner who lacks a lot and should go back to school herself! So after that answer and atitude, I told her to forget it that Im not interested in her program especially if you dont even know about your own program and how rude she is as well! I told her that I called 5 schools prior to hers and I wasnt directed to the internet and people took the time to speak to me unlike her. I told her I would write a review on this school and she proceeds to tell me that shes recording me so its ok. So I told her great then go back to your recording and listen to our conversation and then she says your not being recorded I have you on speaker!! So at this point Im done and she keeps talking I cut her off and I tell her Im hanging up now thank u and she very quick said ok! This was a person who didnt even care 2 rectify, apologize, make an excuse for her trying to hurry me off the phone. This alone speaks volumes. For those of you ladies who read reviews and are new to this field, please dont be fooled by a person who says they dont speak about prices over the phone because 1. You will be charged a ridiculous amount of money. 2. This is a technique to get you in and give you false hope. So when something like this occurs YOU say your thank you and goodbyes really quick! ALL SCHOOLS (REPUTABLE SCHOOLS) GIVE YOU PRICES OVER THE PHONE!! Also they take their time 2 speak to you or ask if they cant get your number and call you back so DONT BE FOOLED!! I had to write this because how many people has this lady done this to? I will NOT be recommending anyone or go 2 this school!!!

I scheduled an appointment to do my hair with a student ... Fantastic experience will be back again
