This is an amazing barn! My daughter is gaining confidence and life-long skills. They have several instructors and every horse is amazing. They will rotate who your child rides to build the skills they need. My daughter has some special needs and both the instructors and horses have worked with her at her level going at her pace. Bringing siblings? (I had all three of mine at riding at one time) or if ridings not for them they have a giant pirate ship to keep them busy or pitching lessons available as well. This barn is not a show barn but a riding barn where the focus is on the rider and what they need. Ive ridden their private trails and they are great for adults who want to take a ride as well. This is a family atmosphere where the owners live on-site and actually care about the growth your child makes. They also have extremely fair pricing for riding, leasing, and boarding. I cant say enough about this amazing barn! We had her birthday party at the barn and love to bring friends!

I was looking for some free compost, and my normal spot was out. Castlewood Stables came up through a quick search. I tried calling once, but eventually ended up arriving unannounced. I found the son of the owner. The son and the gentleman who introduced himself as Kevin were both incredibly friendly and helpful. I was fully prepared to spend a couple hours with a shovel to fill the back of my pickup, however Kevin very graciously offered to dump a few of loads with his bobcat. Saved me a ton of labor, and wouldnt accept a tip for his help or fuel either. Incredibly kind.Ive already done a soil test, and this compost is going to do great for my gardens and flower beds this summer.Thanks to the staff for their help, as soon as were past this pandemic Ill be returning with my son to see some of the other services and events Ive seen spoken so highly of here.

I have reached out numerous times to enroll my daughter in riding lessons. I finally got a response stating they were having trouble with their emails but had an opening. I reached out via text to confirm when we could start. I did get a response - basically stating he would get back with me. I wanted the first 6 lesson starter-package for my daughter as a birthday gift. I printed something out and gave it to her in a card. That was three weeks ago - I am still waiting. I guess they dont need/want the business. I wish I had just been told that as now I have to start from scratch. Very disappointed.

Wonderful. We had a blast. 2 hours of pure fun for $20.Pony rides, horse, zebra rides. Groomed rabbits, turtle, goat, horses..wow.

Visited with my kids and it’s a must visit place for kids. Very nice orientation programs and startup programs for the kids as part of Parents and me group class.Will be going again.

Beautiful drive, lovely experience

The Parent and Me class was an amazing experience! I have been looking for 3 weeks for a place for my son (4.5y) to ride and I happened upon this and signed right up. Great Staff/Family, very welcoming and friendly, awesome with the animals. Lots of animals to interact with and the horse riding is fantastic. My son was on cloud nine the whole time. I highly recommend and we will be back! Thanks for an amazing time.

The Parent & Me session was fantastic! The stables were nice and the animals were very well taken care of. This is a great kid activity, it was very well organized and relaxed. We will be back soon.

Love this place! Wonderful for beginners or experienced riders. The trainers are all great with any age rider and the place has a wonderful feel to it! Reasonably priced and people that genuinely care about the riders and animals.

This is a great place to learn to ride and board your horse. The staff are friendly and the facilities are good. There are acres and acres of private trails to ride. They also have other animals, like a zebra, chickens, tortoises, donkey, pig, and peacock.

Both of my horses are boarded at CSW Stables. I have NEVER had issues. Everybody loves the horses and they extremely well taken care of. CSW is accommadating to anyone boarding or taking lessons and just visiting. It is a very nice family oriented facility with very caring and knowledgeable owners who live on site. Mighty Joe and Copper have a lot of friends at CSW, and you will too! Check us out!
