Okay, its a long one, but there arent many other decisions that are more weighted than where to send your child for their care! Two years ago I visited over 10 locations looking for care for our at the time 17 month old. I originally chose Kiddie Academy mainly because of the ability to view my son throughout the day via their camera system, but once he began attending KALP (Kiddie Academy Locust Point) I realized that I was getting so much more than just the security of watching him during the day. Nimita and her staff have consistently gone above and beyond, and their communication with us parents has always been very prompt and extensive. During his two years at KALP our son learned so much! One day he began rattling off colors and numbers in Spanish that I had no idea he knew! As expected, and as you will find everywhere, some teachers have been better than others, but overall we truly felt as if the teachers cared about his well-being. They were very open to our suggestions and even had some of their own for ensuring that our son was comfortable and had the best possible experience. Especially in the past year during the pandemic when KALP became a care center for essential personnel which my husband and I both are! We felt extremely comfortable with the distancing, mask wearing, sanitization and health screening measures that Nimita put in place. At one time I noticed on the camera that one teacher was wearing her mask below her nose. I made mention of this to Nimita and she addressed it straight away and since then all of the teachers appear to be in compliance. As a result, since the beginning of the pandemic there have been very few interruptions in KALP classes as a result of teacher/child infections. If you are looking for a child care center highly recommend Kiddie Academy at Locust Point, and while I am excited for our little guy to join his elementary aged big brothers pre-school program so that we can have both boys at the same location, it is definitely bittersweet as we have truly enjoyed the time that we spent at KALP! Thank you so much Ms Nimita, Ms Jasmin, Ms Lindsey and all of the teachers & staff! I hope that you know how much your kindness, patience, cooperation, and understanding has meant to us these past few years! We wish you all only the very best!

Outstanding center with the most professional, responsive and nurturing staff. The center is clean, safe, reliable and provides the most constructive environment for kids to learn, play and evolve. Hats off to Ms Nimita Sheth for so skillfully and meticulously managing this center during this complex pandemic; as well as to the staff and teachers, Ms Lindsay, Ms Jasmine, Ms Nika and Mr John for giving our son the best care and learning possible! Our son loves his Kiddie Academy family! My wife and I are very sad to relocate and have our son switch daycares. This place is truly a gem, and my wife and I are forever indebted for their phenomenal care.

I rated this Academy 2 stars for many reasons but Ill just give you one which is the most important to me. This Academy is Private Pay which means No vouchers or Financial Aid so the parents would have to come out of pocket. Fine thats cool not a problem. So I asked about the cost of tuition and was quoted a little over $2000 a month and this is for the Infant program. Here is where the problem begins. I immediately get a vision of all the children including my 1 year old in the inner cities of baltimore and the poor quality Educational system they have set up. I told the Admissions Clerk that with these prices that your charging to go to your Academy Children in the city of baltimore will never have a chance at your school for the simple fact Baltimore City residents are majority Low income and are welfare recipients on Medicaid and Medicare. Most parents in Baltimore City can only afford to take there kids to Row Home Day cares where their is a lot of negligence and irresponsible care givers. I just had my first child and access to a safe environment and quality education is big for me. This review is not about me its about the Children because they are our Future. These are things that motivate me to become a liscenced Teacher and create a home school co-op Academy with other Liscenced parents who feel the same as I do. No matter what Financial bracket you are in Children should still have access to the Best Quality education thats available. But this is Babylon , America where taxes and property rights are valued more than people. Peace family

I think its important to share how much we love and appreciate the staff at the Kiddie Academy. We recently moved to the area and had no idea how difficult it was going to be to find the right care for our daughter. I called the Kiddie Academy and they had an open spot, woo hoo! They made the enrollment process easy and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our daughter has made friends and the teachers consistently update us on her progress. We are lucky to be part of the Kiddie Academy family.

Not a good place to work for a new or experience childcare professionals the staff is underpaid and a lot of Time Square in classrooms over ratio I have overheard numerous conversations I have people planning to leave within the next few months and I was only there for a month it’s another one of those big name childcare companies who doesn’t care about their employees and the stress that they are causing them.

KALP, we will miss you dearly. We had the pleasure of having Kiddie Academy of Locust Point as our full-time childcare providers for both of our children for the last three years. We can say without a doubt that the teachers, staff, management/directors, and owner are all fantastic individuals who have a desire for providing nuturing yet stimulating childcare. Every single teacher our two children had over this time were involved and provided daily sign-outs. If you are able to secure a spot in this coveted facility, jump on it at once as it wont stay open for long. Get on the waitlist early but trust me itll be worth it. Moving out of the state for work thus had to say goodbye but will miss the team at KALP very much.

We have been so impressed with this facility! The staff is amazing and very open to working with parents to personalize the learning experience for each child. We love that the facility is designed with a very open layout to promote safety and accountability. Meals and snacks are provided for the children, which means one less thing for busy parents to take care of in the morning! It also meant that our daughter was exposed to foods we dont typically make at home. We enjoyed the opportunity to peek in on her throughout the day via the web-cams. This is a terrific center and is conveniently located in the heart of Locust Point.

Our son has been going to daycare here since he was 12 weeks old and they have been wonderful. The staff is so warm and friendly that I worry that he will begin to like daycare more than being at home.

Weve moved our son to Kiddie Academy only last week and have already been VASTLY impressed.Weve been using another day care at Locust point for a year, and decided to switch after a change to job/commute. We were somewhat apprehensive on the little guy will integrate, but so far both his behavior, sleep and eating habits are on track.First, the in processing paperwork as extremely thorough, which also means that it is quite tedious for the parents to fill out. It identifies all the behavioral issue and traits that we are focusing on.The facility is brand new and top notch. Everything has been automated as much as possible. All the reports are digitally filed. All the instructors use tablets to documents and update the system. This is what I imagine a modern day care in 2016 should be.And since that first day, weve been able to watch him grow on the integrated video monitoring system. From an emotional stand point, it give me comfort at my lunch hour to check in and see how he is doing. The mid career rat race certainly does not make life easy, but the ability to at least see him a bit make all the sacrifices worthwhile. Not saying it definitely increases productivity, but Im trying that argument/angle. Of course, it also allows for his grand parents to see him from states or oceans away.Through it, I can also see how much attention the instructors are paying to the kids. Based on introduction, I would conjecture that the teachers here have more experience than the other facility. Did I mention that the owner is on site daily?!I am more than ecstatic with my decision to switch to Kiddies academy. Wow!
