I went here about a week ago and Gregory was the person who did my massage. It was a great experience. After having a pretty bad injury to my right arm, my right shoulder was completely out of order. A week after my massage my right shoulder is pain free. He respected my privacy, boundaries, and was very professional the whole time. The info card they have you fill out also asks for your pronouns and perferred name, which is a very refreshing experience. I would absolutely come back here again!

My husband surprised me with a couple’s massage for my birthday. I was blown away! The space was very cozy and relaxing. I loved all the black art and decor. The introduction was thorough and the staff was friendly. The massage was perfect! She hit all the right spots. I am definitely making this apart of my self care regime. Thanks again!!!

Booking a massage at unwind for my birthday was easily the best decision I made this holiday season! On a whim, I booked a last minute 60 minute session with Riquel to decompress from a stressful year. When I tell you I had all the weight and stress of 2020 in my shoulders...honey! The atmosphere alone was perfect and the massage itself felt like it hit my soul. Not even exaggerating- if you’re considering this space just do yourself a favor and book. I’ll absolutely be back when I’m visiting this area!

I Got a 1 hr massage with Miya, she did a really good job getting all the knots out and I felt very relaxed after. Very professional and friendly atmosphere!

If you havent made an appointment here yet, just stop what youre doing & do it!. My husband & I just went in earlier for a couples massage & it was GREAT! Scheduling was extremely easy, the studio is beautiful & very welcoming. The atmosphere was great. There was not one complaint. We are looking forward to more visits.

As soon as it was over I immediately started thinking about when I can schedule another one. Gary is amazing. He really knows what he’s doing. It was my first time coming here and the atmosphere was so calming and smelled wonderfully like incense. Gary, the owner introduced himself to me and offered me wine, water, beer, etc as i waited for my services. I had Lev for a one hour massage and he was excellent. He knew exactly how to move my extremities and place them in optimal stretching positions while providing great deep tissue pressure. The entire experience was wonderful and Ill definitely be coming back for my next massage.

Went in for a 1 hour CBD oil message. The staff was very polite and friendly. The environment was clean, welcoming and relaxing. My room was dimly lit, quite dark. (I prefer it like this since I have light sensitive eyes.) The message it self was great the oil really did help me relax. Would definitely go again and recommend.

I had the signature massage and it was amazing. I had never received a massage from a man before so I didn’t know what to expect but Gary was super reassuring! We chatted before the session where he walked me through how the session would go, asked if I had questions and welcomed feedback. This is my forth time booking a session with Gary at Zen And the City. T, my Wife and I committed to making more time for self-care and massages are definitely a part of the plan. Today, we booked a massage for the both of us (1-hour each) and man oh man did Gary come through as he always does. From the ambiance of the space, to the offering of tea or wine to help you settle in to your appointment, you can tell from the point of entry that you’re in for a treat. Each time I’m invited to the massage table, I am reminded of just how amazing he is at what he does! I think “bodywork” is the term he used to reference this magical experience. The use of aromatic oils, soothing music, the personalized pressure, and attention to detail is where the magic comes in to play. Gary was sure to inquire about problem areas and was sure to address these areas during the session. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to conquer the day! I am beyond grateful for Gary and his practice. He is professional and offers services to contribute to your overall wellbeing. I can’t wait until our next session. Anyone who has not experienced his greatness is missing out on life for sure! I recommend booking a session or two or three! Trust me, your whole life will change. Be aware that they add an expiration date to the massage package you purchased. Honestly I think their policy is ridiculous. You paid several hundred bucks for the package, you forgot to use it during their time limit, and then you cant use it any more. Whats the point in adding an expiration date to a service that doesn’t even need to have one? Do they suffer more because I use it on day 366 rather than day 2? No, they dont suffer and theres no need. Except that I guess it feels great to reap money from customers without having to pay any efforts. It is just unfair and unkind. I WILL NOT recommend anyone to it.

On Sunday I attended Yoga at Zen and The City , this was my first time doing Yoga and I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT !!! The teacher Michelle Was Amazing her Energy, her Vibe and the Atmosphere was Awesome . I felt so good the next day . I will Definitely be going back next time .!!!;)

LOVE Garys work. He is VERY skilled at what he does, and EXTREMELY intuitive. He doesnt miss a beat, and will ask questions about the slightest incongruencies that he picks up along the way, which most masseuses just dont have the sensitivity and intuitive gift to do. Very happy that I found him.

Miaya was great. I experienced deep relaxation, was out of it for an hour afterwards... even though she also worked out my knots... which, by the way, is something I usually hate having done during a massage, or actually just tell them to not do or to stop, b/c I want to enjoy the massage and not be in pain!!! Well, not today... Miaya knew just how much to work it and when to back off and move on. Nice.

This company is not accommodating to new clients. Theyll gladly sell you a gift certificate, but when it comes to following through on scheduling, it is a nightmare. Id rather spend my money elsewhere than even continue to deal with the money I spent there on a gift and never used.

I took a friend to have her first ever massage for her birthday and it was absolutely amazing! I wish Id thought to take a picture with Keenan and Kwame.First off, Keenan is a fantastic massage therapist if you like deep tissue massages. Ive had somewhere around 40 - 50 massages (including one from the massage therapist for the Tour de France cycling riders) and Keenan is easily in the top three. Highly, highly recommend him if you do any sports, have a strenuous job, workout on a regular basis, or just really like a legit deep tissue massage.As for Kwame she was attentive and skilled in delivering a very comfortable and relaxing experience and made the birthday girl very, very happy. Cant thank you enough for that Kwame.Garys wife is an absolute sweetheart and the surprise birthday cake at the end of the massage was a really nice touch and greatly appreciated.I was looking for a more local massage place and I think I found. Many, many thanks!
