I am the 2014-2015 president of the parents association at A Childs Place, primarily because we have had a wonderful experience for our two daughters, one whos currently there and one who graduated in 2011. The teachers there have extensive experience in child care and the children are extremely well prepared for both kindergarten and first grade. Class sizes are small and the children are in a nurturing and kind environment. When we first visited several years ago, we were particularly struck by how kind all the children were to each other, and how happy. This is a place where your child will not want to leave at the end of the day.

We feel so lucky in having found this gem of a place for our daughter. We moved to Baltimore last year, and having a preschool she (and we) adored made our transition so much easier. The teachers are excellent and the attention kids get is amazing! The only downside is that kids do outgrow it eventually, and then where will you find a place that matches up?! The bar is set too high. :-)

Our child has attended A Childs Place for the past two years. We immediately knew that this was the place for our child to grow and learn as she prepared to enter elementary school. ACP is a loving and warm environment with small class sizes that have the ability to cater to each individual childs needs. Her progress was evident immediately and she has developed both intellectually and emotionally into a child who is well prepared for the next stage in life, thanks to the experienced and caring staff. I would highly recommend A Childs Place to anyone who is seeking a great environment to prepare their children for elementary school.

Our oldest has attended ACP since she was 3 years old, and she loves it. The classes sizes are small, but the community makeup is diverse. The teachers are personally invested and committed in each childs learning experience. This is a great option in the city for children ages 3-5!
