The enrollement staff here is really unorganized. Over the summer I called everyday. Everyday I would not get a response. The business office likes to get you to pay more money than you owe. The bookstore has ridiculous prices. Definitely go to amazon first. The food is the same thing every day, and you are only allowed to have one plate.Thats the bad. The good. Very beautiful campus, teachers are willing to help with anything you dont understand. The classes are more hands on then out of a text book. Professors are easy to get ahold of.

Just want to point out that the claim on them allowing you only one plate of food is big time bogus. I went there this year and had no problems. I could go into the cafeteria five minutes after I just ate and buy 10 drinks and 3 burgers and not once did they tell me no. (No I am not that much of a pig but you get my point lol)The enrollment was a little wonky. Would recommend buying books from somewhere else though because the books are pricey.My instructor was down to earth and by and by the best person you could ask to teach you to weld. He is currently remodeling all the booths in the welding shop to be just like the ones where you take tests up at the college in Bangor. Scotty is da man.

Starting at EMCC is great way to save money. It is really easy to get your start here and transfer to a four year college, or just get an associates degree or certificate and enter a career field more quickly. Tons of options at EMCC, would recommend to everyone.

I have had a great experience here so far. All of my instructors have been decent - a few have been exceptional.

Instructors are great, a surprisingly wide array of subjects to study for a smaller community college. Depending on the time of year you call, yes, replies can be less than expedient. But overall, a great place to begin or continue an education. Plus, if youre looking to transfer to UMaine, EMCC and UMaine make it incredibly easy and have streamlined the process. Its more of a pipeline at this point.

This school is the slowest school I have ever attended. The paper pushers take forever to do their jobs. They never answer the phones and it can take up to 2 weeks for them to return a phone call. Its ridiculous!

Enrolled in PC Repair. One instructor was ok, albeit quite high strung, but the other one was very rude to me. One time he interupted what I was doing and at one point moved my hand of the mouse with his index finger just to change the time setting on the screen. When I needed help with something, I would ask for help and he just sat there at his desk and just ingmored me. Worst academic experiance of my life! dont learn computer science at EMTC.

The lady at thebook store is rude she threw fit when I came to return a book after the the return deadline it’s not big deal when I return a book.
