I have been coming here for about two months now. I was referred by a friends mother for a color correction. The amount of respect and inclusion was amazing! Jess H turned my fried, dead, box dyed hair into what I didn’t imagine could happen. Not only do they do amazing work but they get you products to keep your hair as healthy as it feels when you leave! Jess has been very helpful in not only my color correction but with tips on how to maintain my hair! She went above and beyond! Amazing work, thank you Jess! Made appointment for 12pm. Immediately checked in upon arrival. Stylist was taking me to chair immeditaly. She was very friendly and did an excellent job. She went out of her way to show me products that were similar to what I liked, that was out of stock. I would highly reccomend going there for hair care. Their customer service cant be beat.

This schools an amazing place. The educators are extremely helpful and are very knowledgeable. The salon students are really enthusiastic about their learning experience. It is a very clean, respectable and welcoming place!

I had a great experience here. My hair came out great, everything was very clean, and everyone was wearing masks. Melissa was very helpful to the student who did my hair, which made the experience even better knowing that an experienced stylist helps the students throughout the process, to make sure your hair comes out well.

Beginning the foundation of my career at Empire Beauty School has been very exciting! The atmosphere Empire carries has been both welcoming and encouraging to me pursuing my goals. Today I went to Empire Beauty School for a highlight/color cut and style. My stylist name was Jess and she was great. She definitely knew her stuff and talked to me through the whole process. I will definitely be returning to her again for my highlights/ colors cut and style. My over all experience their was great and cannot wait until my next visit with Jess.

I had my hair done at Empire today with Brooke Trafton ! What an awesome environment to get your hair done in. Not only was my hair stylist precise with her techniques, but she was asking questions when needed and she for sure exceeded my expectations. Recently, I was trying to reapply for my Board of Cosmetology license. It had been 5 years since I had a state of Maine license so I contacted the school for help navigating the process. Mrs. Bartlett, Ms. Folnsbee and Mrs. Hamm went above and beyond to help me prepare for the State Board exam. They took to initiative to make sure that I would pass and because of them, I passed the exam with a 95. If it wasnt for their hard work ,compassion, and help, the experience would have been so much more stressful. Thank you Bangor Empire! You guys are amazing!

I had a permanent, hair cut and eyebrows done. I will not go anywhere else. I had a wonderful experience! The students are well prepared and closely supervised. My only disappointment is that I didnt go sooner!

Hello,I am currently enrolled as a student at Empire Beauty Schools, Bangor. I LOVE IT. I have learned and will continue to learn, an incredible amount by our very helpful and caring educators. They prepare us for a real salon and for our state board testing. When I first went out on the floor I was terrified of having my own clients. But, with help of our educators I know if I am uncomfortable or have any questions as to what I need to do to execute the best service I can, I just need to ask for help. They are amazing. So glad I made the choice of coming here for schooling. Thank you Empire!

I have been here as a customer and a student and both experiences have been wonderful! As a customer I was well taken care of and felt amazing and beautiful when I left! As a student I am supported and encouraged to be creative and become the best stylist I can be! I have been in school sense November and I couldn’t say enough good things about it!! I have very thin and fragile hair so it has been very hard to get the color I have wanted and I have been able to achieve the color that I have always wanted! The teacher are great and make sure that you are very prepared to head out on the floor and get you ready to become a stylist in a salon!

Empire is where I am most comfortable. Not only are the classes so rewarding, but the students and teachers make every second of the day enjoyable. I have already grown so much here and I know I will continue!

I am currently a student at Empire in Bangor. I LOVE coming here everyday, such a fun envirement. The instructors are so awesome and the curriculum is very hands on.

I went in asking for highlights and a trim and came out with 3/4 of my hair completely bleach blonde (this was with the help and guidance from a teacher). I went back the next morning and they tried to fix it - free of charge, but there wasn’t much they could do. I’ve been using a box color to try to cover until I can make an appointment elsewhere but my hair is very dry and I was so disappointed having spent the time and any amount of money. I would not recommend Empire.

The students are hardworking, led by knowledgeable teachers who are passionate about hair. The prices couldn’t be better and they offer a variety of services to make anyone feel beautiful!

I went there to get acrylic nails put on and it took like 3 hours no exaggeration. At the end it wasnt even worth it, the nails were super lumpy and gross looking. The lady that did them kept messing up and in the end she even told me Well thats the best I can do, its your choice now, so I just left and got them fixed elsewhere. The other place I went to made them look so gorgeous. They were so surprised at how someone could mess up that badly they even laughed. Do not go here to get a full set put on, you will not be happy.
