My son depends on this transport to go and return home from school...!! the service is shocking... the buses do not meet the standard measurements ... drivers drive at a thousand miles per hour leaving children behind .. The worst of all is that my son was taken down in the wrong neighborhood... an stranger called me to tell me that he had my 7-year-old son and that he was found crying crossing the streets lost and almost ran over him... the school or transportation did not do anything.. nothing ...an apology will not return my son if something happens to him there have already been many incidents like this.. nothing surprises me very disappointed in the whole team

Goldstar has refused to pick up special needs students at their home for summer school. Goldstar has also has students walking 5 miles to the closest stop across two different highways.

Needs to update the phone number for the bus barn. My nice didn’t get dropped off and can’t call bus barn to find out what’s going on

The people I’ve had as my bus driver where impeccably rude my 1st bus driver Miss. Kathy always played favorites with everyone else on the busy she let them move, and cuss, and take their masks off but not me and my little brother she always excluded us and my new bus driver is starting today and I already dont like her because the bus barn said that me and my brother a spider to be picked up for our stop at 6:50 me and him are allways down there on time me and him have been waiting for 30 minutes almost 40 in this freezing weather and I can’t call the bus barn because their number on their website is not going through

Going to school here still

The bus is usually on time or early, they have passed our house a few times before my child/children were not quite to the end of our long drive way to their bus stop. When I would call, they always were able to swing back around and pick them up for school. We dont have street lights, so obviously (we as parents) make the accommodations for our children by waiting in our vehicle as a safety precaution and from the Texas insects or weather. The only thing I would say that Im disappointed by, is the phone number listed on Google is disconnected, and I have not been able to find a number on their website. Other than that, I do recommend them as I have been very pleased with their services to our community for the past few years.

Great place to work. Gets hot in hot weather with no air conditioning.I see the comment about bullying, I have had bullying on my bus. I wrote a disciplinary report and moved the students. That solved my problems!

Very disappointed in Bastrop Bus Barn. The bus is the only way for my child to get to and from school, but the bus stop that we are expected to stand at is unsafe. It floods when it rains forcing you to stand IN the road. There is no shade so when its 108 degrees you are standing in DIRECT sun light. And the ground is infested with ants, fleas, and chiggers so you have either the CHOICE of standing in ants, fleas, and chiggers or IN the road. I called the bus barn to request my drive way, which is 20 yards away, as a stop. They simply said no and tried to make that the end of it. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but was only able to leave a voicemail. The bus is the only way my son has to and from school but I will not allow him to be forced to stand at an unsafe bus stop where most of the time you have to stand on the road and it only takes one reckless driver for the unthinkable to happen.

Carrie woodrum you are right about how they allow the bullying to go on. The under play your complaint and try to justify the bullies actions. It is run very poorly.

My child is in PreK in Bastrop. The bus routinely misses our house or doesn’t see us at the drive way, today the bus driver is new but my child gets out of school at 11. It is now 12:37pm and he still has not arrived home. I call bus barn and they are cooperating but how many times are you going to use this excuse.

Bus driver threw his trash on the ground in lindale Tx. I made him pick it up and throw it away Can only imagine what his house looks like

Everybody is friendly there and would be a great place to work

They will let your child get on a bus then LIE to your child and say they called you then give you hell when you call them.....let children get bullied. You name it. Very poorly ran.

Seen drunks drive out of there after their shift swerving all over Lovers Ln. as they staggered out of work
