If you like the feeling of staying in the campus then this is for you. Clean rooms, good staff and a good breakfast in the morning. The only downside is that the campus is little bit to far from the town for a walk but otherwise is a great place. Thanks guys for your hard work you doing there.

Absolutely amazing place, the campus is beautiful and so many amazing things to see. Can be a bit difficult to get to the first time though! But absolutely stunning!!! Would definitely recommend.

Great open space, cows in warmer months and plenty of meadow flowers. Great place to walk the dog in any season or weather

Really good reasonably priced accomodation, comfortable bed and very clean with pleasant staff. ~35 min downhill walk into city with good views. Steep walk back up for return, but taxi only £7. Recommend.

What a lovely place... I was there to take part in a study about the difference between NTs and Autistic peoples hand/eye movement/co-ordination with the help of VR. It was good fun and very interesting 👍

Not very lorry friendly, 11 10 height restrictions for the undercroft, also quite tight for lorries in places. Very pleasant staff

About 20-30 years ago, one of the top 10 universities in UK. Mentioned in the same sentence as Warwick and Bristol. Now nowhere near the top. Ranked >200 in the world according to T.H.E. ranking.

I did a masters course here in the 16/17 academic year. Found the course to be poorly thought out, poorly organised, and poorly taught. I made my decision to go here and do this course based largely on the fact that BU has had a historically good reputation. Based on this I thought that the course would be good, and if they accept me onto it, suitable for someone of my work/academic background - it wasnt! I would urge anyone thinking of going here to exercise caution. During the year I was there, their vice chancellor got paid well over £400,000.00. I believe BU are making the huge profits to pay these kinds of huge salaries by selling poor quality courses, and selling those poor quality courses to students whose work / academic backgrounds are not suitable for the course.

Just visited this place and it is a lovely area and building etc Hannah and Sarah are really nice and professional i went on a tour round the uni with my college today its a really nice place and the services are good to i wont ever go to university in the future at all but i did really enjoy our visit to and tour of the university i will hopefully go back there sometime in the future for a visit and Ill try out the cafes there as well i think or guess and yea again enjoyed our trip there today

Fabulous sports facilities which sadly are reserved for the elite athletes. Over the years its been a constant gripe of most of the local club players that the tennis courts are often all empty because theyve been block booked or reserved for the squad.All ten indoor courts....really !As with so many other aspects of the University ( such as Vice Chancellor pay) unless you are part of the rulingapparatchik there is no accountability or inclusivity. Great facilities such as these should be open to all.

A very big place, very easy to get lost but you are able to find your way around through maps that they have of the facility also when there because of an event they will have people out and about to help out and also many signs around.

If youre going there I sincerely hope youre British and white. Otherwise dont expect any support from the student services or the student union and pray that your nationality wont affect the quality of teaching and care you receive

Despite the recent tarnishing of its national reputation, it remains a leading university at the top of subject rankings in many disciplines, with fantastic sports facilities and a modern, compact campus supporting world leading research. The governing body could do with a reshuffle, and the relationship between senior staff and students had a lot of room for improvement with issues relating to decision confidence, accommodation support and study space availability needing addressing urgently.

I worked in the Turbomachinery Research Centre in Mechanical Engineering. It is a horrible culture of bullying led and supported by the head of department. There are more effective ways of destroying your career but there are none more certain than joining this group. Research your options before accepting a role here, especially if you are looking to do a PhD. Dont believe any of their lies about career progression.

Studying there as a mechanical engineer, it is rated as one of the best university in that degree and I only agree with that. It has great facilities, modern lecture theatres. Also it has Team Bath Racing formula student team where you can get involved and build formula car and compete with other teams across the world. The team managed to become the best in the UK therfore it provides great experience for students involved.

I took the time to apply for the position they were recruiting for, I will take the time to write a review as well.I spent 25-30 minutes applying for a position with Bath University. They couldnt give me any feedback from my application.Usually, I wouldnt write a review like this but the amount of time it took to apply for a role and for them to not even consider writing a few lines why I didnt get the position is cruel.Typical case of recruiting for a role and having too many senior applications because unemployment is the lowest its been since 1975. Just put in the job description that youre looking for someone with seniority going into the hunt for the right person.

I exchanged in Bath for a semester. It is my favorite city in England. Great university in a historic city. Not too big not too small, not too hot not too cold. My goldilocks zone.

Just visited several days ago on early september 2018. This university provides very well for muslim student prayer room.The guest accommodation was perfect for guest who dont want to have a hotel outside of university.The edge conference room was our place for the conference. Tough the attendees were out number of chairs provided by the cafe but it was fine.

The University is not doing enough to resolve the housing problem. Whilst taking in more student each year, housing supply has fell short of the demand. Students, regardless postgrads or undergrads are being discriminated in the local housing market. My budget is £450 a month for a room. It has been 3 months, I am still struggling to find a room.Not to mention the Chancellor of the Uni is the best paid amongst her counterpart in the UK. Whilst there a huge margin in staffs pay, University s budget is being allocated to expense Chancellor s rent.Whilst there is not enough housing, university is building more facilities for teaching. Expanding revenue stream whilst leaving the students to struggle with the difficulties in finding decent housing.

I study Maths here, so can only speak for that department. While study space is somewhat crowded, the university staff are dedicated and work hard to offer a high quality learning environment.
