Glasgow is great. Im a seventh grader and I love it here. The teachers are great in the gifted program. They help you if you dont understand something. They also push you to do your best everyday. We have an amazing mathcounts team. Also, our strings program is AMAZING! I made a lot of great friends here. Overall a great school!

Glasgow is a wonderful experience, except for the traditional program, if youre in that program Glasgow isnt the place for you. But the gifted program is great. There is mice but they dont interrupt the learning process(well sometimes). 10/10 would recommend

Message to Ms.Howard, I think you shouldnt scream at students. Its simply uncalled for. this is because students recognize your administrative position and will respect it more if you used it in a way that students could recognize as someone whose there for them, not someone who you have to straighten up around. I mean no disrespect, just stating my opinion.

AMAZING ZOO. Tons of animals such as cockroaches, birds, frogs, spiders, and mice. One problem. The wasp area is not block by walls and I keep getting attacked by them. Otherwise, its pretty good.

The school is really good to the students in the gifted program. The students in traditional are more hectic and the environment seems like a worse experience, but if a student has a problem, it might inspire him/her to try to get into the gifted program. The students are also better than those at sherwood 👌 друг

I spent 10 years of my life suffering from chronic procrastination. Every day I would beat myself up for being an absolute failure and yet do absolutely nothing about it. I would spend most of my days playing computer games and browsing entertainment websites in order to escape the reality of my miserable life. I was in my early teens, still living with my parents, overweight, without any interests besides computer games and no way out. I tried to change my life countless times but I would quickly relapse back to procrastination. I decided that enough was enough and it was time to start taking control of my life. I started going to Glasgow Middle School. I needed to figure out what was wrong with me. There had to be a reason why I was unable to start and keep going. Whether you call it laziness or procrastination, it has to be caused by something, right? A gifted brain has to be different compared to a traditional’s brain. I needed to figure out what it was and maybe then I’d be able to find my solution. I needed something solid, something scientific, not just some self help guru telling me to “just do it”. My breakthrough came when I stumbled across the other side of the school. It was a fascinating sight and I was excited to start applying the scientific method. It worked surprisingly well. A week later, I saw that mass and IQ do not correlate. However, I still had a lot of problems to solve. I’ve spent the following year going through countless science journals, looking for any studies that could help me change my life while experimenting with various methods. Sometimes I would find very fascinating and surprising links between various aspects of our lives and our physiology. As I discovered more pieces of the puzzle and applied those methods, my life improved. I started waking up at 6 every morning, working out and eating healthy. I started making new friends and met an awesome girlfriend. I’ve never felt happier. Even though I did not feel like gaming I still stayed in touch with a bunch of my online friends. It turned out that the phrase “You have an average of 5 people you spend the most time with” is actually pretty accurate. A lot of my online friends were not happy with their lives either. The reason why we would spend so much time gaming together is because most of them also had nothing else going on in their lives. As time went by , my beaver friend Jonathan became more and more interested in my transformation and begun to bug me, asking for help. One evening I agreed to sit down with him and go through everything I’ve learned over Skype. Half an hour into my “lecture” I realized that I’m just rambling and I’d be better off taking some time to summaries everything in a more structured manner. So I’ve spent the next month wring a complete 30 page step by step guide on how one could change his/her life going to Glasgow Middle School.

This prison gets two stars, as the state of the prison could have been better, but not the worst. Many of the cell blocks are old and not very sanitary. Although, it is true the prison does not get much funding from the state. The prison is mostly crowded, too. Most of the guards are reasonable and nice, though.Personally, I believe there is a huge gap between the inmates of Cell Block A and Cell Block B. Cell Block B is older and looked down upon from Cell Block A. The gifted inmates, who reside mainly in Cell Block A, think that they are better than the rest of the normal inmates. The gifted inmates often get better treatment, too.Cell Block C holds the gym and the cafeteria. The cafeteria food is garbage, but we can blame Michelle Obama for trying to fight prisoner obesity. The menu rotates, but after some time it gets redundant, and the urge to consume outside food grows. The gym is old and the locker rooms are a mess. Many of the bleacher seats are broken.Cell Block D is newer and more modern. However, it does not house many inmates. There are only four rooms. One of them is a recreation room full of computers. The bathrooms in general, smell, and are some of the dirtiest bathrooms I have seen in a prison. The outside has a large field with a good number of trees around the edges where inmates can sell drugs and get into fights. The wall is also extremely short and battered. It has many holes in it, and inmates could easily escape, if it werent for the guards posted at the courtyard. And the guards in charge of the outside during recreation time dont care about much. Many have been fired. Many of the shift commanders are useless. It is said that the warden and the captain put too many inmates in solitary confinement.Shift changes are quick and inmates are often expected to get from one side of the prison to the other. They have two minutes. And they are expected to use the bathroom. If the inmates are late, they can be sent to solitary confinement. The majority of the special events are bland. The dances are considered the worst. Those who do not pay the entrance fee are forced into solitary confinement. The laptops inmates get to work on are absolute trash. The school isnt to blame for this, though. The state is, as they provide them. Who in their right mind thinks that Acer Chromebooks are good? The work is grueling, and the hours are long. The outside world views many of inmates inside as failures, and it takes a toll on their well-being. Some never recover.Even with all of these problems, it is not considered the worst in the parish. Places like the Christian Life Private Penitentiary are worse, even though it has a good amount of funding (just not provided by the state). The Westdale State Correctional Facilities are slightly worse than the Glasgow Detention Center.

Im sooo glad I dont go there any more. It is highly segregated between the gifted and traditionals The people and environment are amazing. My friends from there have really helped me through some hard times. The academics are aight. Some of the teachers are a little less than sane tho. Mr. Bankston wasnt nice to me. Hes a good teacher tho..ig. Mrs.Feirabend is AMAZING, but I might be biased.

HorriableNo Way as a principal I would have gifted in one hall traditional in another , frist of all what is that saying to the kids that may be gifted and talented nothing bebause the principal has no feeling or want anything better for the school. Principal is the worst I think . That school has no control she has no control over student no respect. gifted dont eat with traditional. she needs a desk job somewhere where she do not interact with other people. my frist time meeting her she told a parent when they ask about the bus transportation her words where, well that your problem. frist of all no customer service no care for parents and there kids, another incident there was the pinic I was at the school heard her with an attuide stop asking me go to the pinic you wanna go GO. who does that a person with no control.
