What a wonderful daycare center! The staff and teachers are all amazing and so accommodating. The school Director Ms. Gladys even took the time on a weekend to personally give my husband and I a tour when we were deciding on infant care. The staff and teachers truly care about your child and show so much kindness and love. As a working mom, it gave me comfort when I had to drop my daughter off that she was in good hands. I cannot say enough good things. If you live in the area and are seeking childcare, do not hesitate to give Kiddie Academy a call.

My son went to Kiddie Academy for four years and he had fun and learned a lot while there. All of the teachers were great and he made a lot of friends. Most importantly, I felt he was safe and they called to discuss any issues that arose periodically.

My son is soo happy with his school he loves everything about it I’m soo happy I found a place where teachers and staff are very caring and provide a safe place while their parents are at work Is such a huge relief thanks for all your care

Since my son was one year old he has attended the Kiddie Academy. My boy loves going to school. The delightful ladies in Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 have taken very good care of him. Not only is he cared for, but educated by these wonderful teachers and assistants. He is learning languages, academics, daily life skills and social skills each day. I am thrilled that my daughter will be cared for by the same group of teachers and assistants come January. I look forward to many more years with the staff at Kiddie Academy until my babies “graduate”. I highly recommend this daycare for anyone who wants top quality care for their little ones.

We absolutely love it at kiddie Academy!!They are very loving caring and compassionate. I am very fortunate to found kiddie Academy . They truly love and treat the children like their own🙂 they do the cutest projects with children and the communication with parents is excellent!! The entire staff are friendly, professional and treat each child and parent with equal respect. I am very impressed by the quality of the teachers- the teachers are involved closely with the kids, gives real time feedback and always keeps me in the loop.I also appreciate the opportunity to build a home-school relationship, with teachers, in order to enhance my childs learning and development. I admire the fact that the staff always uses positive reinforcement with the kids, in everything they do, which encourages them to be helpful, cooperative, as well as use their kind and polite words.My son has learned so much, since he started in July of last year. He is very outspoken, polite, well mannered, and I owe most of it to the Kiddie Academy of Brightwaters, as he spends most of his time there.

My son has been at this daycare since he was 18 months old. They are caring and loving and teach him so much! I leave him each morning knowing that he is in the best hands! Ms. Gladys runs a tight ship with a loving caring nature. You can see she demands only the best from her staff for ALL of the children in their care. She is fair and accommodating with the parents. Every member of the staff knows my little boy and greets him each morning. Thank you Kiddie Academy! 😊

My daughter absolutely enjoys going to school everyday. Weekly she comes home with new songs that she is taught or is just overall better enlightened with her ABCs or 123s. The staff is very helpful & respectful. They truly care about the children!

My son Nicholas started attending Kiddie Academy at the age of 3.I was hesitant to put him in daycare because he wasnt fully potty trained. I shared my concern with the person giving me the tour, she explained that they will continue the training-no problem. After two weeks at the center he was fully potty trained. Fast forward four years later, he attends the after school program, and Summer camp. Nicholas looks forward to all the field trips during the Summer; every year the trips get better and better. We cant wait to see what cool trips there are next Summer. The employees are all kind caring and considerate. The Administrators are wonderful to work with. We love Kiddie Academy!

My little one has been attending Kiddie Academy for the last two and a half years. We love the staff and our little one loves attending every day. In my experience, the staff has been supportive, kind and loving to both our child and our family. My little one loves her teachers (Ms. Jill and Ms. Sandra), the students in the classroom and insists on visiting previous teachers. It speaks volumes that the staff is consistent - the lead teachers have been there for a very long time. Everyone knows my childs name and the things that work best for the well being of my little one. My child is excelling both socially and academically thanks to their program. I can still remember the first day my lo started there, I was so nervous and concerned. However, Gladys Khan, the staff and other childrens parents quickly put me fears at ease and I have never looked back.

The most amazing educational center for the little ones! My now 4th grader attended Kiddie Academy of Brightwaters back in 2013-2016. It did wonders for her! She now advances in all of her classes and takes Advanced (5th grade) Math. She’s extremely social and loves going to school! Currently, my 2 year old attends Kiddie Academy of Brightwaters. It is now her 6th month. She has leaned so much. Made friends. Learned so many words, and speaks in sentences. Staff is super attentive. Always informative. Very friendly! Absolutely love this school.

This is a great facility. I feel that anyone who takes out the time to write a book about a nonsensical day they had.. is just a bit much. My child loves going here and pretty much begs me to come in the summer. Great admin team, Director and loving teachers. Totally recommend.

I would never recommend them to anyone. I pulled my son from Kiddie Academy of Bright Waters almost 2 years ago. I didnt say anything at the time but after hearing so many horror stories I feel like something needs to be said about this location. During his time there my son had attended their daycare, before and after school care and camp programs.Financially they seem like a great choice but be wary as they do not abide by their own contracts. They raise prices in the middle of the year, leaving parents with no choice but to pay or be forced to call out of work in order to find new childcare.On a more personal note, my son was once left unattended for nearly 30 minutes. He often came home with bruises or bite marks from other children with little explanation. For reference, he has never come home with an injury in the 18 months hes been enrolled at the YMCA of Great South Bay.Good teaching aides left within months of starting and the bad ones stayed. Which is what probably led to the kids playing games meant for adults like beer pong but with water.The final straw was the bullying that came from an young boy in my sons after school care class. His mother worked there and he would often receive special treatment. He would throw terrible tantrums and terrorize the other children. Ive been told she has since been let go but I do not know for sure. If you love your child, do not enroll your child here.

I love the setup of the daycare however, there is favoritism. If you are not Spanish forget about it. They are over price and they have so much restriction. My child caught a bad diaper Yeast rash from not changing her diaper. And when she had diarrhea they call me and told me to come pick her up and not to return until she was diarrhea free. I’m paying 300 dollar a week for what??!!

I love that they give me updates on my daughter very frequently and I love the reports I get at the end of the day. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and I love the atmosphere of the school it’s everything I would want for my daughter and I know when I go to work she is in a safe place and is taken care of.

My kids have been going here for years and I have no complaints. Best child care center in the Bay Shore/Brightwaters area, 100% better then the YMCA.

My daughter just graduated from the UPK program at Kiddie Academy all I can say its that the teachers are super nice, they have knowledge and caring Im very thankful, thank you Ms. McCarthy(teacher) and her assistants Ms. Bianca and Ms. Amber. We love you and Jelyn will miss you all 😘 Once again thank you!!

My experience with Kiddie Academy of Brightwaters has truly been a great time for not only myself, but for my children. I admire each and every staff member. From the moment you walk into the facility, you are welcomed with warm smiles from the Administration office. My children loved coming there. Every morning they would beg me to go to school even on the weekends! I especially loved the fact that the Director was available anytime I had a question. The courtesy they give to all of their clients is superb! My children always reminisce about going to the Directors office to receive stamps and stickers for having an awesome day. From the lovely baby room to the beautiful Pre-K room, my children grew and learned a lot. It is truly an investment in their future. When I personally had financial hardships, Ms. Erika and Ms. Gladys helped me out by putting me on a payment plan. I felt at home here at the Academy. This Academy is staffed with well-trained employees that really love their jobs. By joining the Brightwaters family, you are signing up for quality childcare with high standards put in place by the Director Gladys Khan. They maintain to follow the OCFS regulations and as a teacher, this was very important to me. They created a wonderful and caring environment welcoming all families to join. Regardless of what other parents believe, this Kiddie Academy is the best and safest one on the island and you will receive exceptional childcare at affordable rates!

Since my baby boy was just over one year old he has attended Kiddie Academy. The facility is clean and happy and just wonderful. My little boy loves going to school at Kiddie Academy. They take very good care of him and all of the students in their care. I highly recommend this daycare for anyone who wants top quality care for their little ones. Not only is he cared for, but hes also educated by the wonderful teachers that work for Kiddie. Hes learning, academics, social skills and so much more each day. I will be sad when my little one graduates to kindergarten. Hmmm...Ill have to find a way to keep my foot in the door over there. 😊 Thank you Shateema and Lina, Gladys, Rendell, Marisol and Erica, and all of the wonderful staff at Kiddie.
