My daughter has been going to Emjaez for three years now. She was very reluctant to try dance but with great teachers and a great environment dance is now the absolute favorite part of her week. I love how they keep it fun for the kids while still teaching them great skills!

This is without a doubt one of the best dance studios in the area. The owner and director, Mary Jo Rimke, not only teaches her students to love dance but also to embrace the joy that comes with it as they grow and gain self-confidence. She instills in them the discipline of dance and satisfaction that comes from personal achievement She helps them realize how unique they are and works to make them better in every way.She and her staff represent everything that a dance studio should be! She is genuinely concerned for the students and has a distinctive style to her award winning choreography!The negative comments about this studio from the lone anonymous source should be taken with a grain of salt. Those who really know this studio, Mary Jo, and her staff, can tell you how truly wonderful of a place it is!

The energy is very uncomfortable and every single time I drop off my child the teacher is late.. stuckup atmosphere, my child doesn’t seem to learn anything and every time I tell her to go ballet she always tells me she doesn’t want to. This will be my child’s last month going to ballet.

I left this studio about a year ago because of outrageous fees and favoritism/unfair treatment. I then went to another studio where I learned that I was extremely behind on what I was supposed to know because it had not been taught to me. I was completely embarrassed because I was below the level that was expected for my age. So please choose another dance studio where everyone is treated fairly, you are not overcharged, and you actually learn something.
