I fequently visit the Office Depot in Baytown on Garth Road for a majority of my business needs.Whether its using the self-service printers, copies of personal/business documents, & in-store shopping supplies. The Staff overall are very polite, friendly and respectful plus they offer help if needed.My only issues are the pricing & more personalized attention for elderly people using the self-service printers. Helping them get started by familiarizing them with one-on-one interaction (If the store is not too busy) when it comes to the multiple features, tools & technology.In short; for all your business/office & supply needs, look no further because their your one-stop shop.

I bought a laptop from them online as a birthday gift and picked it up in the store. Imagine my surprise when 2 days after gifting it , Im told that the laptop will not power on!! They charged it for hours, thinking that maybe it just didnt have any battery life, but nothing would make it turn on. So I took it back to the location I picked it up at. They could not get it to turn on either and tried to exchange it with a different brand/spec of laptop that they had available in the store. (Nothing even close to the amount of memory the one I bought had). I declined and was adamant that I wanted the laptop I had purchased. They didnt have it at that store and they dont have a way to ship products between stores. They told me that someone from the store would have to go and get it from another store but it was basically an inconvenience for them to do so, so I would have to go and get it exchanged at the other store myself!!! So I ask them to call the other store just to make sure its in stock and that I wont have any issues with the exchange when I get there. The store manager makes the call and I can hear her say as shes walking away that this is the 2nd problem theyve had just this week like this! (I assume with laptops not working) When she gets off the phone Im told that Im all set to go pick it up, but I cannot exchange the item. I would have to return the purchase and re-purchase the laptop that I wanted. The total was a little more than $600, so Id either have to wait until the return cleared my account and go back again to purchase it or find another way to pay for the new one. I chose to return the item and shop for a laptop elsewhere. This company has ridiculous policies and its employees have no regard for your time or inconvenience when purchasing a product that should have zero problems straight out of the box! That alone is enough to make me never want to shop there again!

If there was a minus number I would rate the service lower than one star. I wanted to get my virus card laminated. The cashier made a copy of my card and handed me a laminate sheet. I said i dont understand, the promotion said Office Depot will laminate the Covid Card. She said go over to that table and pointed to a table with a laminate machine on it, nobody was there to assist. A manager passed me, and didnt say a word, the cashier had left her post. Two other employees ignored me as they passed by. I took my unused laminate sheet and handed it back to the clerk behind the copy desk. She said thank you. In addition to the service being substandard, I can see where there might be a case for false advertising. Office Depot says they will laminate the Virus Card. That is not the case.

They have all the supplies for your office

I had bought a printer a week ago and set it up all the way and threw away the box. She told me that they couldnt do anything without the box. I explained the situation to her and she helped make the dream happen. Thank you so much Diana!

Friendly service and clean, but their priceing is a little high. Dont see how they sale so much with walmart being across the street. Other than the priceing. Its a great store.

Terrible customer service. Did same day pick up and the Order was supposed to be picked up at 7 , did not receive an update. Called at 730 and found out they never even started my order. This is the third time something has happened. Last time I did curb side pick up and sat outside for ten minutes before calling to find out no one was planning on coming out.

Came in to get two 24x36 copies printed and laminated. Clerk training the new girl tells me it will be late today or tomorrow and she was kind of rushed. I asked if they could do 1 on regular paper no lament. She said, “Now?” I said, “Yes.”. She said, “Sure.”. She walked off and started doing something else. After a minute I asked how long. She said, “You mean Now Now?.” Duh, no Now tomorrow!!! What happened to friendly customer service? Of course the new girl was wonderful. Trying to learn. I asked her if she could credit my business account because she asked for my mobile phone number, she said I would have to enter it all in again. I ended up buying it without my office depot credit. To much trouble.

Great service from the print team! I called twice before placing my order online and Netty was SUPER helpful. When I arrived at the store, they rushed my order through and were very friendly. I was offered help twice by passing employees while i finished my shopping.

Terrible customer service. What I hated the most is paying upfront for prints which is no problem. The problem was not having my prints on time, and staff not being able to locate my order status. Some of them were clueless. At time of pick up, the lady who was in prints was rude, and definitely needs to be taught customer skills.In other words, please PLEASE take your printing needs business elsewhere to avoid a headache. Specially if you’re looking to print large Engineering plans. Smh.

If you get something delivered you have to be at home,and if youre not it will take up to a week or two to actually get your package.They also have no contact with the delivery drivers so you cant get a location on the package they just tell you its in transit or they deliver it between 5-8pm. Customer service at the storie is pretty nice but online they just tell you false information.They never came at all between the time they gave(5pm-8pm).

I made copies and it was a little rough. I had to move to 3 different copiers before I was able to finish.

I was in Office Depot this afternoon to use the self-service printer. I asked the young man in the printing department as question about the machines. He answered very politely and offered his help if I needed it. He helped get me started and even had a couple of suggestions to keep me from making a mistake and having to pay for copies that I could not use. I had troubled with one of my pages and he brought up my file on his computer so I could make a quick edit instead of having to drive all the way home to do it. He was so helpful. The epitome of excellent customer service. I was shopping around the store before I left. The manager asked if I needed help. I told him about how helpful the young man in the printing department had been. He told me that the best way to show my appreciation was to write this review. I asked for the young mans name and the manager told me it is Zach. Well Zach, thank you again for your professionalism and great customer service. I also want to commend you for also looking professional. Not many young people working in retail are as well-groomed as you. It really shows that you pay attention to details. You should be very successful in what ever profession you choose with your appearance and great customer service skills.

I visit the store today looking for a wall board I ended buying the Hutch for my desk that I bought month ago. Today every single staff where very nice to me a special thanks to the store manager Jorge and Valery at the register that helped me from start to end. Thanks Office Max for awesome experience.

Really poor customer service, there were 6 people in line waiting to pay, when I asked about the possibility of opening another register Armando the person in the picture reacted aggressively.Another customer stepped on due this situation and although she was a lady Armando also disrespect her. Do whatever you want were his final words.

Made a lot of photo copies here. They were fast and fairly inexpensive. I was unaware of the self service copier as we would have used it to save a few cents per page. Service was good.

Absolutely the worse Customer service. The only manager in the store supposedly was Netti. She was rude to the only associate that was working and she also was very unorganized. When she was trying to help people in the back of the line while the rest of us were still waiting to be helped. When I questioned her she responded they were here first? I was next in line. Asked for another manager but someone named George G. Wasnt in the store and no one knew when he would be back.. I was beside myself. Should have gone to my bank to send a fax. I paid $10 to send four pages and was there for 45 mins. Horrible Customer Service and mangement.

This store’s people are very helpful but understaffed, especially in the copy department. Customers drop projects off, thus when you arrive chances are you will be in line after someone who isn’t there. You can try the self-serve machine....

This is the cleanest, most orderly Office Depot that Ive ever had the pleasure of setting foot in. The staff is helpful, and theyll do what it takes to make sure you find everything you need. If youre not tech savvy like me, thats a blessing.

Mailing a fed ex package had to type in my own shipping label info. I am paying for this service why did I have to enter my own info. ?? Should not have been charged! ! One person working the counter with at least 8 ppl. In line. Two stars not acceptable.

They have everything I need for the office & school supplies. The sales are pretty good, so I have to reign in my excitement for supplies. Mostly helpful staff, but the checkout is slow.

Super helpful folks! Thanks to Miranda, Liz and Brandon for helping this old trucker out with a bad tablet I had just gotten in San Antonio yesterday. It was a replacement for the same model which quit charging after two weeks. Unfortunately I didnt try the replacement out yesterday and it wouldnt do anything right out of the sealed box. Miranda and Brandon set me up at a desk in the furniture section so I could make sure this one would at least charge before leaving the store. Thanks again folks, hope I got your names right!

I was purchasing some office supplies and I asked the manager Diana if she had any coupons that I could apply to the order and her response was “ I’m not gonna go searching it for you and I don’t even have my phone on me to search it for you”… All I asked her if she knew if there were any coupons ..she could’ve just been nice and simply said “I’m sorry but I don’t know ” .. But she was very rude and very sarcastic in the way she replied.. I really hope she’s not like this throughout the day!

I always go to Office Depot to have documents printed and today on 04/25/19 between 2:30 and 3:00 you guys had an a employee that was working at the printing area. (African American Female) that was more concern with getting of work then actually helping the customers. I usually got to the Office Depot in Pasadena and they always edit minor errors for me on the screen for free... this girl was trying to make me pay $9.99 for something that only was going to take her not even 30 seconds to do. Very unprofessional and she had lost her damn mind. I had to walk out the store and didn’t get what I needed.

Faxed here before and it was pretty decent price at a dollar something. Went in there months later to fax 5 documents to the same 1-877 number as I did before and they charged me $2.49 plus $2.19 for 5 pages which was around $15.00. They told me that they now consider 1-877 number long distance, which it isnt because I looked it up and suppose to be free along with 1-800 number. After they faxed it they told me it was long distance and I told them they need to let their customers know if its long distance or not. At least state it on a document the numbers that are local and long distance. I asked them why did I pay the dollar something last time for each page and they said I dont know. Very unsatisfied with the customer service their and the treatment. Wont be going there again ridiculous prices and service.

Printing service is just awful. They have only one worker in the printing service that seems to be mad always. Her familiar line is you have to wait. She will make you wait for so long for a 4-page printing service.

Worst ever, they need more help in the printing department, it seems like they are always short staffed and the employees are not very friendly. When orders are placed and something goes wrong they should call you but no they wait for you to arrive hours later to tell you something is wrong. I even called to check on my order and I waited 8 minutes before hanging up. Horrible customer service

I enjoy muy Office Depot trips the crew for the most part are very knowledgeable and courteous one of my personal favorite services that my Office Depots crew allow me to do is SHOP/BROWSE WITH OUT a crew member conning up secret 3 to 5 minutes asking if they can help me find something. Wow seen there so your customer in case they need something is Admiral and a good thing it is very annoying and makes you feel like you are being watched when someone comes up to you too frequently and ask you if you can be helped. Make no mistake if I need help Im going to come find you and they respect that. Im liable to be in Office Depot for hours at times just taking a break from the hustle and bustle but purchasing things I need as well, and i will leave a store immediately if i feel Im being stalked lol.

Ive always loved both the Depots! Though Im not sure whether they are linked or not they still fulfill both sides of me😉. The only reason I did not give him a 5 is because of the selection the prices were Fair could have been better but what do you expect the staff was great they did not follow me around and harass me the news just about the right time to ask me if I needed help with anything and did their best to help me when I did(Im a frugal endurance type shopper & I inspect every detail of whatever Im in the market for). I seem to make Loss prevention nervous because of my hovering in one area or constantly returning to the area of where Im undecided about what to or if I should purchase the item or not. Nonethless, office depot is very patient with hour to 3 hour excursion and I generally leave feeling satisfied and confident with my purchases. EXCEPT this last time😞the location im referring to is the store in Baytown Texas on Garth Road everything went fine just as normal like any other time except for when I went to check out the young man that was checking me out was very polite and was not rude to me at all he did his job very well with the exception he doesnt listen so well and he tastes the floor while I updated my email and I asked him ready to go home huh he said yes yes yes he was so eager to leave work that he forgot to print and email my receipt plus he charged me for the paper and when I went to get the paper he was charging me again for it I told him no it was already on the ticket, he said okay and proceeded to bag it up and send me on my way he also didnt ask me about extended warranty or insurance for my electronic items Granite its my responsibility to remember these things but I felt rushed and like I was bothering him I took my things out of the car spoke to my dad just had to go back in the store and purchase one of the items I bought for myself, for my dad. When I walked in I could literally hear him shy and said something under his right breath I turned to him and assured him that I would not hold him past his schedule off time and I am true to my promise I just turned around and walked out. it was probably an isolated incident but it happened just the same just wanted yall to know that error still happens because humans still work and to err is human lol I guess we need to be thankful that we still have jobs well thats a wrap. Now get up and go to the Depots & have fun. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YALL

I went here to print some tickets off my phone. They were quick, friendly, and reasonable.

If you go in here and ask for assistance the sales rep will literally show you everything on your list. Most of the time, in fact, they ask you if you need help before you ask them.

The manager of this store has changed the customer service help in the photo copy dept to the effect that older customers like myself that are not as tech savvy cant get the help once offered to get pictures copied from my phone to photographs and have to go home and try to learn how to at home on my phone and that is the only way I can get it done because I dont want copies but pictures to use in the craft art Im currently working on

Very very bad customer service we were having trouble printing some papers and a lady I asked kindly if she can help us without even looking at me told me in a despotic and angry way that she could not help me that I was busy definitely do not come to Print here I hope and your supervisors see this. It was a Hispanic woman of about 45 or 50 years old. I am sure that I am not the only one who has not had problems with her. DEFINITELY LOOKING TO MAKE YOUR ROLES IN ANOTHER PLACE
