We are so glad we found Kumon for our daughter. Lydia is very attentive and was able meet our daughter where she was to get her comfortable with math at the right pace. They are also very accommodating to military. I am always afraid of starting something because of fear of getting deployed soon, but I was reassured I could easily transfer to another location because they are set up globally. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to help their child advance in academics.

My son has shown significant improvement academically since joining Kumon. Lydia and her team are helpful and genuinely care about student’s progress. Lydia checks in if there is a concern and readjusts homework assignments to ensure the needs of my child are met. My son enjoys going to tutoring weekly!!!! Kumon in Beacon is a great place to learn and was very helpful to our kids scholastic development. Their reading and math skills improved notably in a relatively short period of time. As a result, their self confidence in school rose which in turn helped their academic performance. The staff is very friendly and organized. We highly recommend the program.

They patiently and expertly worked with my 4 year old making her feel comfortable with the tough stuff of learning to read and advance in her counting and number familiarity. I reached out to Lydia at Kumon of Beacon after 8 months of covid homeschooling. During this time, we noticed some gaps in our daughters math and reading. We tried home tutoring but I saw this method did not provide the base knowledge necessary to grow in these subject areas. I met with Lydia and the Kumon method is life-changing. My daughter went from feeling not confident to proud of herself. She takes pride in her school and kumon work and her negative school self talk has since completely disappeared. I am so happy we decided to go this route, it is the best solution for any school age child, not just children who are struggling. Kudos to Lydia and her tea for extremely being extremely efficient and providing a safe learning space for all children. I am beyond grateful.

We have both of our children in Kumon, 4 and 7 years old, and we could not be more impressed. The curriculum is appropriately challenging and easy to follow, and the staff is patient and friendly while still holding each student accountable for their work. We have seen an improvement in both our children in only a few short months. Lydia and her team are the best!

Our family came to Kumon after I’ve noticed that my second grader was struggling with math a little. It took sometime for me to realize that we need to look for help outside the regular school. One friend had mention Kumon center and after the introductory meeting we made our decision fast. The center in Beacon has a convenient location, is clean and well organized. Ms. Lydia, the instructor, gave us a good impression as caring, patient, competent, supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable.My elder daughter, who had never struggled in math at school, wanted to take a challenge learn math beyond school curriculum. Both girls were very excited and motivated after first visit. Ms. Lydia took time to assess each child in order to ascertain the appropriate level for theirs individual ability.It’s been over eight months now and all our family had a positive experience. Even Zoom classes during the distance learning worked extremely well for us.I must add that Kumon program is hard work in a way as the student has to do work daily and learn by repetition. Some days are busy enough and it’s feels like additional burden but it works, teaches diligence and self reliance. I always get fast response if I bring any problems or difficulties.Ms. Lydia and all other staff are amazing and professional.We are going to try Reading program as well after short summer break.

I am an alumni of the Kumon programs. I started the math program in kindergarten and completed it at 7 grade. For the reading, I started at second and ended in sixth. I’ve been doing mostly remote this past school year and as an 11th grader. Were it not for the discipline, structure, and consistency found after finishing the program, I would not be able to do as well independently as I do now as a junior in high school. Kumon teaches you time management alongside the academic skills needed to propel your child forward in their school careers. I currently am a Classroom Assistant at the Center and am helping kids work through this tough year. I see the importance of boosting their morale so that they will succeed. With Kumon’s unique curriculum approach, students are offered a challengers push themselves far beyond what they or even you as parents expect them to achieve. Enrollment in Kumon is a sure step to stepping in the right direction for your children’s success.

Lydia, started working with my child in September of 2019 and she has met many of the goals we set out to accomplish in a short period of time. Her confidence in her abilities has improved and she has even made honor roll, which she was overjoyed about. The staff at Kumon is professional, courteous and supportive of all students and their family’s. I am so happy that Lydia opened the Beacon, NY location and is a part of our educational journey.

July first will mark one year of me working as a classroom assistant. Within this year I have seen the Kumon method work wonders. It helps students become independent learners and boost their self confidence. Kumon fills the gaps a child may have. Kids grow to have a greater self esteem and a better motivation for learning.

My daughter is 4.5 and she is already above grade level. This wont have happened if she didnt sign up for Kumon less than 6 months ago.I know her potentials but most places cant accommodate unless she is skipping, and that would be very unhealthy.She is much happier because she is able to learn as much as she can at her own pace and still enjoy her childhood like every other kid.Our intellectual and social skills dont always go to the same level. As a parent, it is hard to find a good balance for my kids, therefore Im very thankful that I signed her up for Kumon. The staff here has done a tremendous job, especially during this pandemic. Very professional!! Highly recommend!!

Kumon Beacon works! In only a few months, our 1st grader went from recognizing no letters in the alphabet to sight reading basic words. Now he can read simple books! We are so impressed by both the proven methods of the system and the warm and caring staff at Kumon Beacon. We feel so lucky and grateful that we found this resource for our son. And he loves it too!

We started working with Lydia and her team in October 2019, and I was confident that they could help close the educational gaps my daughter struggled with. There were several goals we wanted to accomplish, and knew that Kumon would help us get there. Almost immediately after we started, I saw my daughters confidence boost, while her ability to recall information and recognize patterns became second nature. She looked forward to each session, and would do homework without hassle. Each of her teachers were kind, patient, and demonstrated a passion for learning. Im most amazed by the way Kumon is able to meet each child exactly where they are. Months later, we are still working with the team, my daughter is stronger, and she was accepted into the Independent school she worked so hard to get into. The program helps strengthen and advance math and reading skills. Ms.Lydia, the Kumon instructor, provides the perfect support system for your child and their academic needs. Kumon helps build a students self-esteem when it comes to learning.

As a student at Kumon, I find that the work pays off the more you use it. I’ve used Kumon’s math program to enhance my mental math skills. Whenever I have a problem in school, I find them much easier to solve now then I have before. I believe this process is very rewarding in it’s own way. It may be a long process, but it is worth it.

It’s been incredible to watch the Kumon program serve so many kiddos and their families so well! The instructor, Lydia, takes the time to get to know the children, assess where they are, and makes sure the program is tailored to each individual. The students are challenged and supported each step of the way!

I have had such a great experience sending my early learner to this center. When he arrived he was a little rough around the edges! The owner took him under her wing and really made a difference. He is far past his reading and math level for his age. Not only has he grown academically but Kumon has The teachers really tailor their approach for each student (and parent!). They are always there to give feedback and guidance. I can’t say enough great things about this center!
