Both of the ladies in the room with the music books are amazing! Both very informative, sweet and helpful. Will definitely be back again soon! (Also the prices are very reasonable!)

The prices for percussionist are just terrible. The other day I was looking around and saw a 15 inch zildjian hi hat top, and though it could make a cool hi hat mix. It wasnt engraved probably 80s if I had to guess zildjian rock hi hat. The patina on it was so great I could barely make out its make and had to guess at its size (comparing it to other cymbals). When I went to check out the guy first ask me why I wanted it saying I would snap sticks if I used it as a crash which is wrong if that was true my DH heavy rock ride would be like smashing cinderblocks. It will sound gongy but that wasnt my intentions. Long story short he came back quoting me 180 for the one off of the price of new 15 avedis hi hats that cost 320 for a pair. First problem is that half of 320 is 160 not 180. Second problem that is the price for brand new no keyhole no patina brilliant finished avedis that are 40 years younger. Third problem the avedis line today is top of the line in the mid 2000s and 90s they were mid range and in the 80s they were basic cymbals. Fourth problem they arent engraved for all I know they are stock cymbals that came with a kit that have the zildjian logos spray painted on them. I have never gone to swicegoods and ever got good advice or good prices. I cant speak for people who dont ah percussion, but for those that do, save your money and your time and go to guitar center.
