The principal of Regina Howell and their staff have been neglecting the wellbeing of my autistic daughter. In the 2 weeks shes been attending, the school never notified me about my daughter falling in an ant hill and getting extremely hurt. The teacher told my daughter she was going to be in trouble for her hair which made her come home crying, and let my 7 year old daughter walk around with ripped tights all day long. She came home crying in embarrassment. When confronted, the principal tried to blame it on my daughter and told me she made a mistake by calling me back. Enrolling them in what I thought was the best special education program was the biggest mistake and has caused more damage to my daughter than helped her.

How can you do a school lock down at the end of the day.with out calling the parents and letting them know. my son would not be attending Amelia Elementary next year at all. there is no commutation at all this is why people do not send their kids to BISD anymore.because of the lack of communication!!

Horrible experience. Rachel Burson , was the rudest person , I’ve ever encountered. I called to ask a question and she stated,” There’s a room full of people I need to help... you’re going to have to find the answer out yourself”. Just wow. Pathetic.
