My daughter started taking lessons, and I was thrilled by how the class mixed learning martial arts with leadership and life skills. I started taking lessons as well, learning practical martial arts as well as traditional forms, including Okinawan weapons. Now Im probably in the best shape of my life, and Im enjoying the mental training as well as the physical exercise. Ive taken some of the concepts we talk about in class regarding accountability and goals and integrated it into team coaching at work. Id recommend Martial Arts America to anyone, and I think anyone could benefit from the range of classes offered here.

3 of our children and I have received Black belts from the school. 2 of our children and my wife are currently enrolled in the school. We all are better versions of ourselves because life lessons taught at the school. I was always impressed with the safety 1st when being taught martial Arts skills. This establishment has wonderful instructors who know how to educate individuals on how to be aware of danger before it strikes and on how to defend oneself from dangerous situations. I earned my black belt here many years ago and recently enrolled my 3 year old and she loves getting to interact with all the other kids. It keeps her active and made her more outgoing. The instructors are great and she loves going to class

My son is in the RED program and he always has a great time. I have seen him become more confident and responsible since attending Martial Arts America. I love the structure of the classes and the discipline that is taught!

My daughter started taking classes here for a free two-week trial that she received when her GS Troop visited. I observed how she grew in just those two weeks, how the instructors treated everyone fairly and with respect, how polite all the students were...I ended up joining and now its a family affair. Our Granddaughter is in the Ninja class and loves it. She was very shy when she started and I can say that didnt last long. She loves going to class and has a blast with her new best friend Eve. Curriculum is age specific and the instructors are great with the kids

Martial Arts America in Beaver Dam WI is THE place to go to learn valuable life skills. I have personally seen the benefits from our 3 older children who earned black belts at this school . They are confident and would attribute many of their leadership skills to what they learned at Martial Arts America. I am currently a student with our boys ages 8 and 10. We learn something new in every class and love attending! Our boys also are enrolled in RED class which combines ninja warrior training with situational awareness and preparedness and FUN! They climb, crawl, jump, vault, and run the entire class time. Master Krenz and his staff are all great instructors and motivators, they push us to want to work hard and achieve our goals. I would recommend Martial Arts America to anyone, give it a try, you will LOVE IT!

Our family/3 kids really enjoyed the RED ninja warrior program at MAA. It is just the right blend of discipline, respect, intensity, and adventure for what our kids needed. It truly helped our son with ADHD regain his self-confidence, which was our primary reason to join. The instructors are exceptional role models who demand respect, but follow it up with the encouragement that kids thrive on. You feel alive there...and part of something that is right in this crazy world. They inspire the kids to grow good values, and to have internal motivation. Their vision is followed through on, and you can see they are making a difference in the kids.

My son has been going to here for 3 years. They instill great values in the kids and provide a consistently positive environment to encourage everyone to bring out the best in themselves.

Wonderful Job done by Master Krenz. Compressing a 6 hour class into a 3 hour class still touching on the most important points and making it something easy for a variety of age levels to understand and enjoy

MMA has an amazing staff and family feel. My daughter started a little over a year ago and now my whole family are working towards black belts.They have helped my son with focus and behavior. The instructors really get to know the kids (and adults) and help each of us to push our selfs to be the best we can be.

Martial Arts America is great for kids! My son has fun in every class and is always excited about learning new self defense moves. Since joining MAA he is more respectful and self confident. I would strongly recommend MAA to both kids and adults wanting to build self confidence and learn a new skill.

Master Krenz has a great martial arts/character building program. My sons have grown both physically and mentally by taking classes at Martial Arts America.

Our kids went to Ninja Warrior Night and had such blast! Master Krenz is so great with the kids and the facility is amazing! The obstacle courses were a huge hit and our kids can’t stop telling us about how cool it was to do it in the dark with all the cool lights flashing everywhere. I also loved that when I went to pick them up, they were reviewing lessons they had learned about persistence, confidence, and responsibility. My four grandchildren go to the after school program. They are home-schooled and doing the RED class is their gym class. They are not only doing something active but learning a life skill.

My son and step-son love Martial Arts of America. They started the RED class in June and immediately fell in love with the class. They are still going strong! Martial Arts America has been so great for my 8 year old and 4 year old sons. The RED class is not only great for them to learn how to protect themselves, but they have a blast running around the obstacles in the ninja gym.Tae Kwon do is great for focus and courage. It has taught my oldest son so much in the last year. We have seen a huge improvment in his attitude. He looks forward to going every week and EARNING his belts. He is so proud when he EARNS badges and belts.The after school class is so great for my children. It is structured and so much fun. My children come home everyday sating this was the best day ever

We are very pleased to have our son attend M.A.A. in Beaver Dam. He is enrolled in the After school program which he enjoys and they provide supervised fun and homework help. Our son also does the R.E.D. and Tae Kwon Do. These classes are teaching him to be self confident and giving him skills he can use to be a leader and help others as they come up in the ranks

Our family has been taking Tae Kwon Do for almost two years with Master Krenz and his staff. Our boys have learned a lot of good core values from great role models, have become more confident, and fight less amongst themselves at home. They also see the value in striving towards a long term goal like a black belt. There are a lot of families, professionals, and community members who take class here who encourage one another to do their best in a safe atmosphere. My sons also go crazy for MAA newest feature - the ninja gym. They are big fans of America Ninja Warrior and like to learn some of the skills they see on TV. Our time here has been a very positive, healthy experience.

I have been training at maa for about a year now. When i first took interest was summer of 2016. I enrolled my son Joseph in classes. I was looking for somthing for Joseph to try over summer vacation. Joseph was hesitant at first but almost imediatly liked his instructors and the training he was recieving. I attended his classes as a spectator on the sideline and began to take interest in his classes. Inevitably i joined to learn and train with Joseph and now look foreward to our tuesday and thursday evening classes together.The experience has been life transforming for both of us. Joseph has alot more confidence in himself and his abilities in life. He has become more adaptable and responsible at school and home as a result. I can honestly say the same about myself. The instruction we have recieved goes beyond exercise. The MAA way is lessons anyone at any age or stage of life can truely benefit from experiencing. The new facility is awesome and the instructors and staff have all taken a personal interest in my son and me. The atmosphere feels like family. If you live in the area and have ever wondered what black belt training is about then you should definately visit or sign on for a trial.

Joseph and adrian have been attending MAA for over 1 year now. joseph was first to attend and adrian joined with him after about 5 or 6 months. what i love about MAA is the atmosphere is about family and structure. i have witnessed changes in both Joseph and Adrian. both have increase their self accountability and self confidence. both seem to be more outgoing and willing to face the day to day challenges in their lives at school, work and at home. i would definately recomend this program to anyone who wants to try somthing new in life and wants to learn and grow socially, mentally and spiritually.MMA is an excellent way to help any child to develop into strong and caring adults.

I have trained and been involved with several different martial arts schools and instructors over the years. My children and I were students of Master Krenz for a period of 5 years, and he and the Martial Arts America School could not receive a higher recommendation- and certainly the best Ive ever had the fortune to associate with. .Master Krenzs program is one that goes well beyond technique. It builds character, integrity, accountability and responsibility in an always inspiring and upbeat manner.To address an earlier review, I have never seen Master Krenz hurt anyone, ever. Additionally, Their location is in an older building in downtown Beaver Dam. I have been in all areas of the facility and it is perfectly safe. The reason that he remains in the location is that it suits the needs of the school and is central to most of his students. He also takes on students in exchange for work, barter and even offers scholarships for students that want to train but whose families truly cant afford it.When I lost my job unexpectedly, Master Krenz allowed me and my children to continue training without paying, then allowed a convenient payment plan to catch up when I was once again employed.I know of several other families that have benefited from his tremendous generosity and tutelage over the past decade.Take Martial Arts America up on their offer to try out their program.You wont regret it!

My twins have been attending Martial Arts America since they were 4 1/2 yrs old. This has been a 6 1/2 yrs with Master Karens and other instructors. I have nothing but praise for Master Krenz, his Instructors and the classes and the way they are taught.My kids were there in the old building downtown and never did I worry about their safety or health. The new building is AWESOME with a larger main floor area and a back area ninja room.My kids under Master Krenz have not only learned techniques in Tae Kwon Do but determination/goal achieving behaviors that have helped my kids in school and outside of school. They can concentrate and focus on tbeir assignments and get them done. They learned respect for their elders and kids their own age.Last spring there was a possible child enticer in the city. There was a very basic description in the paper my son and my daughter saw this guy go pass their school not once but four times. My son had eye to eye contact with this man. I believe that because of the RED (Recognize Escaping Danger) class for his ability to see in detail everything he saw. He then related that information to a police officer answering 20 minutes of questions. They said my sons information help take the guy off the streetA prior review made some comments. I cant say what the motive is but I can say that after 6 1/2 years and being at 90% of the classes my kids attended, not once did I ever see any of the negative things said about Master Krenz that would concern me. Tae Kwon Do is a very physical activity and sometimes people get hurt. Anyone going into a Martial Arts program should realize physical activity and injuries go together.I can not think of a better safer place for my kids to learn Martial Arts training. Master Krenz and crew are the best and the new building is awesome. So what are you waiting for? Start training today.
