Walker Rd dollar tree is one of the best in the pdx metro area is a larger store with frozen items and 5 lb bags of crushed ice u got it $ 1 Most other stores 7 lbs are $3 friendly help ,well stocked and clean store check it out for yourself

I mean... Its a buck so what do you expect. They leave one cashier up there alone to die with 50 deep. Just be sure to block out your entire afternoon to stand in line.

This location has products I’m looking for in stock as the staff are sweet from what I experienced. 5 star review because I have seen worse dollar trees.

A friend of mine is the manager at this store and as I told her today, the store is absolutely looking fantastic. She has been working really hard and it shows, everything is finally coming together and it stands out above all the other Dollar Tree stores.

Just came out of store, it’s good nice stuff. My shopping time was pleasant there until the checkout. The cashier had a fake smile and fake kindness for customers. So what happened was, I was filling by cart and my 4 years old daughter started playing with the balloons at the window and accidentally she dropped a balloon. The cashier was noticing my daughter ever since she walked to the balloons ( she was not taking them out without paying) and when the balloon got dropped she very rudely asked me to pick them up as my daughter was going to take them out like stealing. The worst cashier attitude I have ever faced. Never ever going to visit this specific store in future. They insulted us, me and my daughter both. I am happy that my girl is so little yet to understand this kind of behavior by someone.

I bought a whole cart full of stuff. I wanted a balloon. The guy insisted all the balloons were out. He was right next to the balloons and I could see the drawer with the number of the balloon I wanted was full. He wouldnt look, WOULDNT EVEN GO TWO STEPS, LITERALLY TWO STEPS TO LOOK. Whatever, another reason its been months since I shopped at dollar tree and maybe never after this. I found a lot of the same stuff at Fred Meyer same price, and they had plenty of balloons and friendly staff.

Foods always good quality, soaps good, but, some of their products are junk. IE Can openers! Theyve been selling the same ones for years. If you sell canned products we should be able to open them.

They have a pretty good assortment of merchandise from party goods to paper and cleaning products to food and kitchen gadgets. Even sell automotive and hardware. Checkout is usually fairly quick. Dont expect to return damaged merchandise though. They require merchandise returns to be in unopened package with receipt and for exchange only. Parking spaces way to narrow. Best to shop there with old beater car you dont mind getting dents in.

A newer female cashier there behaved very unprofessional. The Dollar Tree being such a large company should expect more and drug test more I would suggest.

This is a typical Dollar Tree. Employees were nice but this is the dirtiest location Ive been in for some time. The carpet needed a Hoky™ sweep and a good vacuum or deep clean.Weird parking entrance. Shares space with a Rite Aid and small plaza.

Generally, I have a great experience here. My daughter recently visited the store and purchased the wrong iPhone case... it was too large. She didn’t obtain a receipt. The manager was beyond rude and refused to let me at least exchange the case for the correct size. Really awful. I even offered to show her the transaction from my bank- still refused. I won’t be returning to this particular store.

The Dollar Tree is great. I always have a different experience depending on the location I visit. Of course everything here is $1 which is awesome. This location was a little dirty and disorganized. However, the staff and available products made up for it. I dont have high expectations for a dollar-store, so it was an overall great experience.

Great to look around for bargains

This is one of the best Dollar Tree stores Ive ever been to. Its almost like a mini Walmart but everything is only $1!!

I have never had a problem when I’ve come to this dollar tree. It is always clean and neatly organized. I work as an activities director and my patients also love coming to this dollar tree. Fabian and Rochelle are top notch workers and their other staff members are too! I’ve seen lots of complaints about long lines but it’s always because they are focused on creating a clean and organized store for us to shop at. Would highly recommend!

Went Monday evening around 6pm, store wasnt too busy and we were able to distance from other patrons. They had what I needed but it took a bit to find it - things seem a little oddly organized to me.

I hate giving one- and two-star reviews, but sometimes its more important that the public knows.This place has *no sanitation program* for their carts! They do enforce mask-wearing, which is great, but their few carts are not at all sanitized. As a recent shopper, I made the mistake of grabbing a cart first, as I usually might anywhere else. I shopped, I paid, I put my purchases in my car. Upon returning, I asked where I could put the used cart to be sanitized. The answer was for me to just leave it with the others there -- the same group I pulled from, since there was no structured sanitation system.EWW. Great selection but poor sanitation practices. Stay safe out there, people.

I got what I came for. Nice staff working there. The store is set up with social distancing. Im not sure if a mask is mandatory at this point. I wear one either way.

A very nice store to get food and water and more than.

It is hot as Hades in this store. And the employees are very bad at customer service. They only had 2 lanes open with one line feeding them all the way down the middle of the store. They then decided to open all the lanes but didnt take the people from the line first that had been standing in line forever, they just let everyone rush the new open lanes. Completely unprofessional and rude!

The staff and management are top notch, especially Ivy, Kathleen, Michelle, Paige, Shannon and the store manager Rochelle. (Yes I do visit this store quite often!) There are always new and interesting things to find for a buck and there are some absolute bargains like the sodas and snacks.

Love that they upgrade on stuff they sell but this location is always dirty and always run out of things

They make office parties on a budget possible. I know its an oddly specific thing to mention but its true. Im sure this place makes the lives of school teachers much easier on their banks as well.

I love going to this dollar tree location I go there at less twice a week and spending $$$But the cashier person I was going through was not very friendly with no greeting and I knowness there one of a snack bag I bought has a hole in it and I ask him if I can exchange it and he took the bag and throw it to aside and no reply back I could of not so I ask him again and his reply yeah just walk back there and one and when I left there greeting of good bye or have a nice day it was a disappointment I usually have a good conversation with other other cashier

The staff is always so nice, especially Jen who always has a smile in her face and something good to say to you.

Wasnt able to try on reading glasses...so I had to buy a pair, try them outside, to bring them back in and exchange them for another pair

I was surprised by several things here. The store was pretty full of customers. I will pay more attention to fullness of parking lot next time. Bags of hamburger and hotdog buns @ $.25. Some items I like were in stock like cherry & apple pie filling, pop tarts, and canned peaches. Windex, wipes, and hand sanitizer out of stock. Staff was very helpful, mentioned sanitizer does come in but goes quickly. Did not charge for paper bags.

These people are so sweet and helpful.

They have a good selection of things and the store is big. Mainly four stars because the bathroom was super gross. There was no tolit paper on the dispenser because the springy tube was missing. The floors in the bathroom were gross and there was really disgusting paper all over the seat. So yes go for the shopping but hold it in if you can.Also the staff was kind to me so didnt have that as a problem at all.

Lot of everyday things you need for $1. Stores are understaffed and theirs usually lines at the checkout. Fortune 500 company should be able to hire additional help and give their employees 40hrs a week instead of 15 to 20. Its really a disgrace

Actually I would give them a MINUS ONE STAR!!!!. I have shop here many times and have worked 30 years in retail so I what a thankless job it is. I finished my shopping, a bit of a line, no worries Ill browse some more. I head up and there are 19 people ahead of me. Maybe the guys new and does know to call anybody. I find a clerk stocking Halloween and tell her the line is done aisle 9 and is there a backup cashier? She responded there should be to other backups on hand, but made move to help. I rounded the store, no one. I was going back in line again and spotted another clerk crouching behind the register 2 spots away from the line. Im assuming doing shop back or some other task. I asked if she could help cashier? She replied there would be another cashier up as soon as she finished her break. She never even looked up at me. I went back in line, this is the point we get down to 19 which I am and 6 people are behind me now. I didnt expect miracles but they could have at least lied, apologize and said only one register was working, OR SOMETHING. I know its retail hell but its wasnt a holiday rush or a weekend. Were talking 6:30 on a Monday night and I know at least 5 people were working. It saddens me to do this review. But really?

Its very clean and organized

This Dollar Tree is larger than most so it has almost anything you need. The biggest reason it does not get five stars is because every time I go in there is one cashier and a huge line. Im amazed at either how unlucky I am to catch it at such a bad time or how lucky they are for having so many customers; Im not sure who is the winner here. Anyways, hardly any named brand stuff if youre looking for like big bags of chips or cookies, but they have smaller.items with brand names like soda, candy, or single servings of chips/crackers. I enjoy this one, I just dont like the lines.

I always save money on healthy snacks I buy. It cuts my budget down. If your tight on your budget this is a good place to shop. Watch were some of the food is coming from. Stay away from food from China.

Super rude staff.. Especially Gary.. They have an attitude.. They have no problem yelling at customers if front of his manager, Ivy, as he stated.

Ive been going to this store for about 3 years now. Biggest selection out of all the other ones in the area. Very friendly staff always willing to help you find what youre looking for. Only downside is that there rarely is enough cashiers working so it can take some time getting out.

Its a Dollar Tree, what you see is what you get. This one is kept well stocked and usually well staffed although the lines can get long. Parking is a bit limited and tight.

Extremely rude clerk. Instantly jumped my case, in front of several people, for using my phone to electronically pay for my goods. Said that its not allowed because I could hack their system. This is so bogus, as mostl card readers are moving towards this type of payment. The experience was embarrassing and made me feel like I was some sort of criminal trying to rob her. They need to have a sign that says not too use your phone and should get some customer relations training. Very unprofessional.

Mainly things not worth the 1 dollar you pay for them. Or very low quality to the point youd be better off paying an extra dollar and getting something that will last longer. Occasionally youll find something worth it.

Products aisles placement doesnt make sense. Not organized in a way so that youre not wandering around in this very large store. I had to have a person help me find several things on my list

Clerks were efficient but management needs to treat them better, 2 clerks serving lines of 10+ people each, no one else on hand, not a manager in sight. Bad form
