Tried to rush to get me to sign up for their college. A little too quick to get their hands on my money (especially, financial aid). I walked out on them! I didnt hand over any cash for a $50 application fee. The office was dimly lit. A single small lamp on the desk that was like a night light. I couldnt read the information on the sheet I was given. This is a for profit school. Shady business practice. Do not recommend. Be very careful about signing your life away for for profit schools. No information given on their website. Waste of my time.

Pioneer Pacific College is a great school. Ive learned so much in such a little amount of time. Everything is hands on and the classes are really engaging in the career path. The teachers are really helpful and there whenever you need them. There is a lot of one on one time with the teacher so you can better understand the subject better. I would recommend this school to whoever wants to further their career choice in the medical field.

I have a BS in criminal justice and had a GREAT experience here. The teachers were very awesome. Had some teachers from the legal side and some ex-law enforcement teachers. It was great to learn about on the job experiences of these teachers that pertains to the learning. Its nationally accredited and they were working on their state accreditation. Definitely recommend this school for those looking into legal or law enforcement!!!

I received an Associates Degree in Accounting and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Pioneer Pacific College. Being one of the older students starting college, I was very impressed at how everyone helped me get started with my programs. Teachers and students both were very helpful and I couldnt have succeeded without their help. David White was exceptional in helping me find a job, in fact I am working as an Accountant here in Wilsonville and have been here going on 4 years. I would highly recommend this college to anyone serious about giving it 100%. My only regret is that I waited so long to start college.

I am writing this review to encourage future and currents students that Pioneer Pacific College has everything in place for you to get a great education experience and graduate with a diploma or degree you will be proud of. As an admissions Adviser I have been working with Pioneer for 10 months. I research the school thoroughly before making a very big career change in my life. I would not be sitting here right now talking to students, enrolling students, if this school did not have the best interest and intentions for students and myself. I encourage all potential students to come to our campus and see for yourself what a great educational experience you will receive here. You put into college exactly what you will get out of it. Put your best foot forward and we will help you on your way to a rewarding career.

My experience with Pioneer Pacific College was very positive. From the moment I spoke with admissions, I knew that it was the school for me. All my classes were scheduled for me in a way that would help me graduate in a timely manner, my books were available to me in class, and I was able to ask for assistance from any department I needed. It was all a plus for me since I was working full time and had a very busy schedule.

I’m in my 3rd term at the Beaverton campus and I love it here! Sami and Shellie helped so much in the beginning getting me signed up and making sure my financial aid were correct and in place. The main teacher Jin is outstanding. She loves teaching and it shows in lecture. She cares about our success after the program not just in her classes. I highly recommend PPC!

My experience. First off let me explain that I actually enjoyed going to school here a lot. Loved it really.. afterward. Well thats say that one of their main selling points is they help you find a job. Liars!I have been done with school and certified for over 5 months and they havent helped me one bit! I email them, call them... NOTHING! So if you want to go to an over priced school, deal with rude teachers, and then not ever get to use what you learn then go for it!

Received my Associates in Paralegal. Instructors are great and class schedules are flexible. Career services did a great job assisting in polishing my resume. The communication/research skills I gained while at PPC helped me land the career I have today.I suggest to research all the schools youre interested to find what is best for you. I have seen some students frustration that credits dont transfer to public universities. Credits do not transfer to most schools and this is the first thing my admissions counselor told me. I did my research and now I am working on my bachelors at a different school where my PPC credits did transfer. You must do your research!

I dont usually write reviews but I felt it was important to because I was afraid at first to go back to school. I was in a bad place a year ago, working for minimum wage trying to support my baby with the help of my bf. I always liked helping others and I decided to make a change by getting education to become an nurse! Im nearly finished now, and my outlook on life has changed because of things I learned from pioneer pacific. Im ready to start making more money and work somewhere I can actually help people and feel needed.

I took Computer Networking and Technology and got my degree here. What I can say is dont waste your time and money. Here are a few reasons why I would never recommend this place.-Unprofessional staff. Teachers were playing video games during class, teachers would leave for several minutes to an hour during class time. Teachers doing homework for there classes during our class time and the list goes on.-Low Quality education. Overall quality of education wasnt good, and technology was not keeping up with current trends. I found myself helping others in class cause the teachers were out or didnt know the information themselves.-Zero help finding work after I graduated.-Building and overall facilities were gross at times and not very well kept.Overall I give this place a 1 star and hope I can help spare people from making the mistake I did by going to this institution. If I could do it again Id go Comunity College!!Blessings!

This school is the biggest joke. Most staff is very unprofessional. The education is elementary. They do not help you in looking for an externship, nor a job. I would NEVER recommend this school. You will be stuck with a big bill and will still not have a strong future. PLEASE think twice about it. DO NOT attend any for profit school. Go to a Community College, or a University. You will get a real education if that is truly what you want. You definitely will need it in the future. Sign of the times.

Posting anonymously because the staff will retaliate. Dont waste your time or money going to Pioneer Pacific. I am currently in my third term here and have to finish because Ive already paid for this. Education? Not at all. The staff is so nice to you when you are enrolling because they want your money. They dont care about you being successfully, although thats what they tell you. Im talking about the Wilsonville Oregon campus specifically. Legitimate concerns are taken as complaints and they treat you as if you are causing trouble. EVERY day I hear fellow students voicing legitimate concerns about their education, and all of them feel unimportant and ignored. My feet l low students are becoming sad and depressed with the lack of concern. Dont they realize that I paid for this school and not them? No they act if if they are paying and we should just shut up and not say anything. Also they wouldnt have this job if we werent paying thousands and thousands of dollars and what we all want is to be taught a new field. They just shove a crazy amount of schoolwork/ homework down your throat that has to be done asap, and you are pretty much on your own, and if youre going to have to figure it out on your own, then why go there? Everything you do is reading a book and doing homework, and why spend the gas money to go to school when they dont care about teaching you? Youll spend every moment trying to get stuff completed, and then realize you havent learned what you need to pass the state testing, or most of the schools exams. This is why theyre graduation rate is a low 40%. I have only encountered one instructor who cares that you learn, rather than the rest who look at quantity of work, instead of quality. Most classrooms are a mess with no structure or hands on experiences. As for the externship that is required on the last ten weeks of your schooling, YOU have to go to places and see if theyll take you, they do not help you like they promise when you enroll. Also I have never left a review about anything before but this is too much!! Please dont waste your money to go into debt and get nothing out of it.

The Limited X-Ray program is a joke. They expect you to learn everything about xraying within 10weeks and then it is your responsibly to learn and practice what they havent taught you in the field at the poor RTs expense. I was laughed at with how little knowledge was given to me. And the evening class was the worst. Our instructor if you can call the person that, was too busy on their computer and phone to teach us. The instructor even gave us test answers to make him/her look good that we are passing. I received As in all my other classes, so I know how to study and apply myself. Am I ready for the certification test? NO. I did bring this to the attention of the VP and nothing was done. They just kept passing me on to another person. My advise.... do the MA program but not the x-ray.

WHAT A JOKE. My dad goes here and he keeps telling me that his instructors are always late, dont teach him anything and are always in a rush to get out of there. WTF?? How is this legal? How is this fair? Students pay over 25K to go to this BS school and they get nothing out of it? Whats the point?? Ppl are there for an education and theyre treat them like hogs on an assembly line. This s*** school should offer refunds to students who get nothing out of this place. The instructors dont care, neither does the school itself. This is not the last theyll be hearing from me.

Very disappointed over all. Got degree in Computer Science and Networking in 2002 here. Was not enough to actually get a job in the field. I had complaints during the education because of the accelerated speed of the courses being taught your brain doesnt have time to fully retain what you just learned before your on to the next course. Too rushed to really be of much use in the long run. I could learn as much on YouTube for free. Ok, so now I went to register at Mt. Hood Community College and am told NONE of my credits are transferable!!! PIONEER PACIFIC LIED TO ME!!! They told me that they were accredited and all credits WOULD be transferable when I chose to continue education. I am SO ANGRY! I have taught myself more by checking out books from the library and watching on youtube. Everything you need to know you can find on the internet. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! The degree is useless on job applications because Employers smirk when they see the name Pioneer Pacific College! So now I have to start over from scratch. Taking entrance exams tomorrow just to do what I already spent time and money for. WASTED MONEY AND TIME!!! Im so MAD! Mostly because they lied to me. What a disappointment.

If you plan on going for a higher degree later in life, think twice before spending your money here. The schools accreditation is not up to standard for most places you would transfer to. All of the hard work and money for this was a waste! My time at this location was a huge disappointment as well. The instructors for some of my classes were working at burger joints as well as working for the school. This is not worth what they charge.

I enjoyed the time I spent at PPC. The staff was quick to help and the students were very much like family. When I graduated, I had a job and did not need help finding another job, but I still left the school with 6 reference letters. To this day, those letters remain part of my portfolio and have helped me in life. I am currently attending another college to get my Masters in Secondary Education and many of my credits from PPC transferred and helped me advance my education at my new school. Between the networking, great friends, education, and opportunities, I would recommend PPC for anyone that is looking for a degree in Accounting!

Rip off. Their equivalent of department heads for their healthcare programs arent nurses (from what I saw on their wall), the majority have business and medical office admin type degrees. I interviewed for admittance the first week of April, a month before their next semester started. For just a DIPLOMA, NOT an associates, it was more than DOUBLE the cost of an actual associates degree in only one less semester at the local community college. So, in one semester less, less than half the cost, at community college youd have an actual associates degree, LVN licensing, and less debt. If you want their associates of applied science that gets you an LVN certification? Oh thats almost a whopping near-$30K. Also, when I interviewed with Carina, she had concerns about my success because I had a bachelors degree in a different subject, but that my honors memberships and grades showed her my dedication. She also brought up her concerns regarding my having ADHD. Concerns about my success? Are you serious? They also requires courses like Introduction to the internet, two keyboarding classes, an entire class on Office, and a few others like these money-guzzling courses. So naturally, I decided against Pioneer Pacific (after finding out what community college has to offer by comparison). I let them know before I even took the entrance exams the second week of April. A couple days after canceling my appointment for those tests, which by the way I was told were required to process applications, they took out the $50 application fee for an application I was told was not processed. Nothing but a huge rip off with obvious sales gimmicks like making you feel like you might not get accepted for something ridiculous (like already having a bachelors in another field). If you want to pay $20k just to be admin assistant in a medical office (they use more flowery language for this, though), then go for it. If you want to pay almost triple at Pioneer Pacific for an assoc of applied science for almost $30k more than double the cost at comm college), then go for it. Otherwise, use the money and time to become actually licensed and an actual degree at the local community college, and have tens of thousands of dollars still in your pocket by not going to Pioneer Pacific.

I attended Pioneer Pacific College beginning my Associates with the summer term 2010 and finishing with my Bachelors in June of 2013. I was enrolled in the Health Information Management courses. I was one of the older students, in my mid-50s. I was treated with respect by both the teaching staff, the office staff and my fellow students. Yes, there were a couple of kids that just didnt seem to have it together and were disruptive in some of my classes, but the staff always handled any disturbance in a very professional manner. In fact, the school allowed my husband to remain in the student lounge during class times, since I wasnt physically able to drive from our home in Keizer to Wilsonville for class. I am proud of my accomplishments achieved during my terms at PPC, I graduated with honors for both degrees. The teaching staff and my program director made my transition back to college a success. Thank you all for what you did to make my college experience a success.

This school is a farce. I only hope this review will save some other poor soul from going into student loan debt for a piece of paper that isnt even worth the value of toilet tissue. I graduated with an associates in Computer Network Technology from the Springfield, OR campus. Here is the type of higher educational learning you can be expected to experience if you attend this school:1. Instructors who rarely teach anything to the students.2. Open book exams so you never have to worry about studying.3. Students occasionally leading the lecture.4. Outdated textbooks that cost a TON.5. No student support services - library, advisors, tutoring, etc.During my time at the school I did not ONCE have an exam that was closed book. ALL of the exams were open book including the finals. Homework was non-existent in most classes. At times, we regularly played games on the computers since there was no real lecture happening from the instructor. When it came time to move on for a bachelors I applied to real colleges and was told Were sorry, but the credits from there will not transfer. Thats right, PPC does not have the proper accreditation to transfer credits to state universities. Luckily for me I had community college credits that transferred to the university, but NONE of my PPC credits transferred. I had to effectively do 3 additional years of school to finish. So basically, I wasted $15,000 on a piece of paper that means absolutely nothing. I am rather embarrassed about attending this school, but hope that some awareness will help others. One thing that this school does well is process financial aid, because the student loan business is a big racket and they are milking it for all they can.
