Its been almost 50 years since I started going to nursery school and met one of most positive and strongest influences in my life then.... and today...Joyce HollowayI went there during and throughout the 70s and I can honestly say I enjoyed this place more than words can describe! So happy to see Joyce still steering the ship here! I remember kids that didnt go here were always wishing that they did. Holloway Daycare was know for a LOT of things then as they are today.I learned how to do flips on the 4 or 5 different trampolines they used to have. We had Swim Day at Bellaire Pool. We had Movie Day at AMC Cineplex, we had Bolwing Day, Zoo Days... roller skating! Man, I was the luckiest kid I know!Some of my most cherished memories were the week long Church Camp that we attended annually in Abilene, TX. We attended the kids church and and the adults attended adults church that took place daily/nightly. I was baptized with Joyce at the church camp and made some of my best friends, friends that I still keep in touch with today!If you are looking for a family oriented place for your child to learn great life lessons, have great fun, and be well taken care of... you absolutely cannot go wrong with Holloway Daycare! I got to go and visit today and in 2021 it looks like as much fun as it did in 1971! They have upgraded the games a bit... Wii, XBox, Play Station and several Arcade style games to go along with all the outdoor activities (some of which are so well kept they have literally lasted for 50+ years, and as proof by the pics I included are as fun today as they were when I played on them!Today again, roughly 50 years later, I took my son to go see where I grew up (before and after school). Brought back great memories!Not a lot has changed!Here are a few pics from today...

My daughter Adele attended Holloway daycare for 2 years. She loved it! Ms. Diane and Mr. Joseph take good care of kids. Thank you so much for everything you did for us.

I love this place so much. My boys went there for more than a year and I just saw smiles on their faces. They love their teachers and always had good time with their friends. The stuff in this place take care for your kids as the same way a mom does. They were loved so much and we saddly left because moved to another state.I totally recommend them!!!

My kids love it here they take them out to different places to have fun, they make good food that is also healthy, super clean, my kids learned a lot here. Definitely recommend and trust the people working here with my kiddos

This daycare is ABSOLUTELY a blessing in my life. Fantastic, Christian teachers that truly love what they do and love the children they care for. I was really at the end of my ropes when I found this daycare and I have to say that I am truly at ease every day that I drop my son off and do not have to worry about picking him up and getting a negative comment from any teacher for him being a kid. My son looks forward to going here every morning and has even started to really get that sparkle back in his eyes that he lost a few years back. I feel like this place has given me true hope that everything will be okay with my son and that this is the daycare that he is meant to be at. The staff here is so friendly from the moment that you walk in and I have NEVER SEEN A DAYCARE SO ORGANIZED AND CLEAN. I was in Heaven when I walked in here. I could not picture my son going anywhere else and am just sorry that I didnt find this place sooner. I wish there were more stars that I could leave because this is by far more that just 5 stars. If you really want your kids to flourish and become the little people that they are meant to be and have a great relationship with God and their faith, this is the place to take them. Hands down the best daycare in TEXAS!!!!! Thank you all for taking such good care of my son and for being there to make him smile every day. I am forever in your debt and so grateful for you.

I love this place! I actually went here when i was a child in the 80s. I have the best childhood memories of going here and so i decided to enroll my son and daughter here as well so they could share in the same priceless memories as i have. Both of my kids have now been attending since they were 2 years old. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and they love it here, the staff is kind, diverse and caring and the administration is always at the facility and attentive and caring. I am so pleased with Holloway Preschool and there curriculum as my children have learned so much here. My family and i could not be happier. My one request i wish they enrolled children younger than 24 months old because i was not happy with the previous places my children went to when they were infants. Holloway has been a blessing in my life as a child and now is in my childrens lives. I cant wait for this corona virus pandemic in the world to be behind us. My children have returned now to Holloway preschool and i am very pleased with their safety practices and i feel at ease with them being there.

My Family and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place!!! Holloway Preschool & Day Care is a true blessing to our family. Im a mother of 3 children, my 3 and 4 year old daughters have both been attending Holloway Preschool for about a year now and my 2 year old son has been attending for a few months. My children love it here, Ms. Claudia in the Toddler room is wonderful and so incredibly patient, gentle, caring and soft spoken. My daughters love their teachers Ms. Tina and Ms. Patricia as well. As a mother who has been to multiple other day care facilities before I really appreciate how helpful and nurturing the staff is, I also really like the fact the owners are always on site everyday. I love the fact my children are in such a great Christian environment. Holloways Preschool curriculum is outstanding and incredibly well rounded. I was referred to Holloway Preschool by a friend that attended Holloway Preschool when she was a child ( my friend is now 35 and her daughter and son attend Holloway Preschool too) I think thats so wonderful!

My three children all attend Holloway Preschool & Day Care, My 7 year old son and my two daughters that are 4 & 9 years old. My youngest two children have been attending Holloway Preschool since they were 2 and have blossomed from their awesome curriculum; did I mention its also faith based? :) My children and I adore the staff and cozy atmosphere. Their outdoor playgrounds are awesome as well. I Initially chose Holloway Preschool & Day Care because of its location and because its the cleanest facility I have seen, its located in Bellaire Texas (one of the highest quality and best family oriented neighborhoods in Houston Texas, conveniently located near the medical center and downtown) I would and do recommend Holloway Preschool & Day Care to every family with young children that I know and meet. They have been an incredible blessing to my family for years now.

Ms. Diane and Mr. Joseph are both great people, however, this daycare was not a good fit for my child. My son was not happy when he was going to this daycare. There are definitely some things that should be changed and updated. In my opinion this daycare is great for older kids, but be mindful sending your little one here.

My kids LOVE it here. Very much a family atmosphere. I am always greeted with a smile. They have been enrolled almost 6 months and I have no complaints. Its like dropping your kids off at their aunts or grandparents house. If you live in the area, I highly recommend.

My 3yr old never wants to stay anywhere without me or her big sister. She willingly goes in and greets her little preschool buddies! Everytime I pick her up she says she has so much fun. She never looks a nervous wreck or concerned when I come to pick her up. I love the feeling of knowing my daughter is okay and knowing I do not have to worry if shes going to have anxiety coming here.

We really love it here! They are wonderful with my child and it’s so nice to pick her up every day and see her happy. Miss Diane is always so cheerful and helpful and my little girl loves her teachers and friends. This school works out really well for us and we are very thankful for them.

My son has been at Holloway since we moved into the area when he was almost 3 (he is now in kindergarten). The owners and teachers have been so amazing and loving to our family, I couldnt imagine being anywhere else. The good majority of staff at Holloway has been there for years, they have very little turnover - which is a huge deal to the little kiddos. Everyone knows your name, it is family owned and they do an excellent job of making everyone feel like they are a part of that family!

This daycare is an amazing place for children. Ive had the opportunity to have my two girls attend since they were very little. They still go in the summers too. The teaching and instruction that they learned there is superior to other day cares in the area. The children are loved and treated like you would want them to be treated. There is structure, fundamentals, and core learning at the Holloways. They must be doing something right to be open over 60 years.

My husband went to Holloway when he was a little boy. My mother in law has worked at Holloway for over 30 years. Our 3 year old daughter goes there now. I couldnt say more about the family that owns it. They care for the children like theyre family. I would definitely recommend this daycare to all family, friends, etc.

My son went to this daycare from 2010-2012 at 3 and 4 years old. They did really well with him. He learned manners, following directions, letters and shapes. They treated him well and if we still lived on that side of town, I would take my daughter there. He still remembers Ms.Joyce and he is 10 now!!

Amazing staff and program. My son was there for two years, and his knowledge base just blew up. One of the top facilities in Houston, especially for the price.

This place has been a blessing since day 1! Miss Diane has worked with me on several occasions helping me and Im truly grateful for all they do.

My two sisters went to Holloway and they have learned so much there. because of their time in Holloway they are ahead of there class mates.Holloway is a Safe and loving environment filled with caring teachers who teach valuable lessons and prepare many fun activities. I cant wait to bring my son to Holloway to prepare him for school and so he can enjoy the experience!

Holloway Preschool is a very loving environment and teaches children so much more than just sitting in a chair and learning. I loved working here and I loved the fact that both of my children had at least a short experience here. My daughter learned so much and is so far ahead in school now. She has started reading at 4 years old and I know her learning at Holloway was a huge component.

Maybe Randos child just isnt home-trained...Holloway is a great daycare center with a passion for kids. They are not a preschool detention center. I love them and more importantly my son loves them too!

I believe they are the best daycare center, in medical center 77030 area. For my 2yo son, I did extensive research and carefully toured and compared 8 daycare centers. We went with Holloway and have been with them happily since. My son now (at 3yo) knows his alphabets and numbers very well, sings many songs and returns home happily every day.This is a family business started by grandma and now run mainly by mom and grandson. Many toddlers back then now bring their own toddlers back to the same daycare. Talk to the owner/director Diane (she is the person who usually picks up phone calls), go and see them, and you would know why.When we are moving away to Friendswood 77546 area due to work relocation, Diane even helped us look for daycares. I researched 19 daycares there online and toured 5. I don’t consider any one of them to be as good as Holloway, after touring them. We feel sad to leave Holloway, even my 3yo said so.

Its been a very good experience having my children here. This daycare has really good employee retention, and my children love all of their teachers.

My daughters have attended for 5 years and we love it. They are just like family.

My son is two and he has grown by leaps and bounds since coming to this daycare. Everyone is amazing and I couldnt have found a perfect place to enroll my baby.

This is a great school my kid loved it she never wanted to leave the teachers are great and ms Diane is so lovely she has so much patience with the kids my kid learned so much from there if I could leave her there for elementary school I would !!!!!!!

They expect for a four year old to be trained like a damn german shepherd....this people need a reality check seriously...

My kids went there before and during covid pandamic ,its just like home not only daycare you can feel postive vibes once you enter the building so clean so welcoming, good food caring staff,my older son was enjoying the electronic room and with affordable prices
