160 Driving Academy turned me into a comfortable semi truck driver in just a few weeks. The instructors are very helpful and enjoy what they do. I went from 0 experience and scared behind the wheel my first time to shifting like a professional by my 3rd week. They have a great way of explaining what to do and more importantly what NOT to do behind the wheel. It’s normally a 4 week process but mine took 5 because of COVID not allowing us to test the last week but I passed w flying colors every test thanks to 160 Driving Academy!

The instructors and staff helped me achieve my goal of obtaining my CDL license. They all were helpful, friendly and didn’t mind going the extra mile to help me succeed. Thanks again 160

Ive met many Trucking Professionals from other schools who did not seem to receive half the quality training we received from 160 Driving Academy. I had a great experience at 160 driving academy in Belleville, IL ! The staff was extremely helpful and reassuring threw the whole course.The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and all had Ben drivers for several years before going on to teaching. They got me ready for my exam in just 4 weeks. When it was test time I had no doubts that I was going to do well I passed with flying colors and have a awesome job as a driver today. It was a great experience from beginning to end !!!

Taught me alot real hands on and knowledgeable easy to talk to made me feel real comfortable driving a big rig will refer any1 to them and Renee was very very nice classroom setting was very professional..

The teachers are awesome and very encouraging to the students. They know a lot about driving and Jordan the lead instructor has great helpful successful tips and tricks to help each student out. The branch manager is nice and very responsive with getting Back to you. There flexible with working with special accommodations for each student if needed. Overall it’s great school to go to. I’m also a former student who went to this school in 2017 and now in 2021 for my cdl a license and training.

When I was thinking about getting my CDL, this school always came across my searches on online. I hesitated and put it off saying I’ll call the info line later. I wish I would have taken the step of calling sooner. I made that call and I am now a CDL graduate from 160 Driving Academy. From start to finish, my experience was great! Office managers are wonderful and helpful. Driving instructors are very knowledgeable and want you to succeed. They’re super cool. It’s not a smooth sail to your CDL. You MUST put in the work on your end to succeed. I would highly recommend this school!

I attended 160 Driving Academy in 2018 to attain my Class A CDL. After spending over 18 years in the Healthcare field I needed a change!!! The classroom was quite informative. The yard instructors work with you if you are willing to try. They are also very patient and encouraging for the timid driver( thats me). The 160drivingacademy will also help you find a job after you graduate the course. All in all, there is no better option to get your CDL. Thanks 160!

The school was cool. Youll learn what you need to pass the test. But if you got moving violations nobody want hire you so be prepared to have the license collect dust.

Great school! Although it’s set up for success you can’t expect your hand to be held. The staff is very supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The instructors have a saintly amount of patience as well. I got through it my first try thanks to them. There’s no better school!

The office staff is professional and on point, willing to help you be successful. The yard instructors are very knowledgeable and take time to properly train. 160 Belleville allows adequate time for anyone to achieve their CDL . All one needs is the want, the motivation, and the drive, and 160 will provide the rest.

Had a wonderful experience and a great time.Was a very easy course and I learned alot. I cant recommend anyone else but these people!Just remember to slow down and relax!

DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible school. Most days you go to school and you dont do anything but sit. Theres only ever one or two teachers to 20+ students and 3 trucks. You rearly have truck time, and everyone fails to pass the CDL because theres not enough practice time. Its suppose to be 4 weeks long, but it turns into 3 to 4 months because you arent being taught how to drive. 7k wasted! I have no idea why people rate this place 5 stars unless they are having their employees and friends leave fake reviews.

The instructors are very good at what they do. I had a great experience going through this training and I used to drive some 20 years ago. Everything has changed since I drove. Especially when it comes to all of the pre-trip inspections you have to know. Mike, Matt and Jordan really know there stuff. All you have to do is listen to them they will teach you the right way and if you are having trouble just ask. They are more than willing to help you out with anything. Keep up the good work guys

160 driving academy is the best! I would recommend to anyone looking to get their license or transfer to Illinois. All the instructors go above and beyond to make sure you are prepared to take your test. Thank you to everyone at 160 driving academy!

Horrible school...some days you will not get to do any driving maneuvers, or driving. Make sure you know how to drive an 18 wheeler truck and operate a manual transmission before going out to the driving course. If you dont do whats stated above then they yell at you like you are a child until you get it right. Its been a total of three days since I got to use the trucks. They claim the equipment is there for students to use, but they dictate who uses it and who doesnt. If you want to get your CDL do not go through this school. The instructors themselves argue constantly, so it makes the learning atmosphere very difficult.NOT SURE WHY PEOPLE ARE GIVING THIS COMPANY FIVE STARS

I recently graduated from 160 driving academy with my class A in Missouri, main thing to learn here is the pretrip!!! Get there early so you can practice! If you dont know the parts have someone help you. The instructors there are willing to help you anyway they can! My trainer was Mike and he helped me nail my backing maneuvers perfectly! 10/10 would recommend!

These instructors know alot about driving and parking. They even teach you what to do if you dont line up your parking right. They are more than supportive and helpful. I am forever grateful for their help in me passing and learlearnhow to drive.

Got my Cdl there. Love my experience there. The trainers there are retired drivers themselves and teach you everything thats need to know about inspecting, driving, and backing the truck. Recommended this school to newbies.

This is the worse School to attend. You Will not receive your Cdl in four weeks. They will put minorities on the backburner leaving them to get it on there own. Its not organized properly. To many students to one instructor so you will not get your proper training. I started in Dec, 2017 and its now Mar and have not receive my Cdl yet . They pic and choose who they want to test. They have old broke down trucks. Most of the time there almost twice a week the trucks broke down while we was training in them and we had to wait for two hours for someone to help us. The trucks have even broke down at the test site which failed a student.This was a broke down truck that me and a few people had to go practice a pre Trip in and nothing was really working on it to do a pre Trip on it was on a flat no trailer. They had us practice in this for two weeks. we couldnt move the truck and pieces was missing.On there website they screened all reviews thats why you see all good ones. They have no control on this site.
