Really enjoyed the How-to-boil water series. Ive been cooking for a long time but its all been self taught so my wife and I took this series to strengthen our fundamentals.Really like the format of the class. Couple hours of learning/practicing our skills and then a shared dinner at the end.The only thing holding me back from the next series is the long time commitment.

Scheduled a pasta cooking class as a team-building activity. Our team is newly formed, and so were still getting to know one another ... and Carols approach to class was a perfect fit. Instruction was clear, everyone was hands-on and engaged, and the end result was delicious.

We hosted our leadership team-building here and I couldnt have been happier! Chef Ricky had such a fun and positive attitude, we did the 100 mile menu which consisted of local ingredients and everything tasted amazing! Im a pretty picky eater and Im not going to lie, I thought the salmon was going to be dry because they usually are, but the pan-roasted method that Chef Ricky used and taught us made it SUPER juicy and perfectly tender. I cant wait to make it again at home! He also taught us the trick of folding the thinner part of the fillet in half so that the fish cooks evenly! Everyone on our team had such a good time, and even those that dont usually cook told me how fun it was : ) Will definitely come back again!

Absolutely Fantastic Experience! Our company hosted our annual Women in Construction Appreciation night at Sizzleworks last Friday and we all had an unforgettable time. Chef Carol, Ricky and Pam did such a great job teaching (and entertaining) our group. We left with a full belly and the knowledge of how to make homemade pasta, delicious sauces and a pear Parmesan salad. I would highly recommend Sizzleworks for a team building experience, a night out with friends, or even a date night for two. So very fun!

We had a cooking class for my work department, Elegant Appetizers. We had a great time. It was super easy to set up, I emailed directly with Carol a couple of times, she was very clear and concise and it was minimal effort to organize. The food was delicious, and we had a lovely table setting to sit around and enjoy the food while bonding and connecting with each other. Id highly recommend this place.

Sizzleworks deserves more than 5 stars!! From the moment I met Chef Carol to plan a private family birthday party for my husband though the actual event, everything was easy! Chef Carol was flexible in creating a menu that took into account the dietary restrictions/preferences of our diverse group. Chef Ricky, Chef Pam and Chef Rachel taught us new skills and made the evening fun and memorable. Our guests ranged from age 30 to 92...I highly recommend Sizzleworks as an awesome intergenerational experience for families!

We took an afternoon cupcake class from Ricky as a team building/celebration for our finance team of 11 people. We brought bottles of champagne and he provided light snacks and glasses. The location is great (on the edge of Bellevue/Redmond) and the room was setup perfectly and very well organized. Our class was about 3 hours long and we learned how to make two different cake batters and 2 different frostings followed by different frosting techniques. Ricky was great at keeping the class engaged and making it fun. My team really loved learning the science behind the baking and learning the correct techniques for things like creaming butter/sugar and basic things like measuring flour. I personally liked how simple the recipes were (few ingredients) so you could easily make them at home with the little recipe book they give you. I would definitely recommend the classes at Sizzleworks!

I browsed the Sizzleworks site for years and always wanted to take the Cookwise series. I finally pulled the trigger and Im glad I did!The instruction is awesome and if you are looking to improve your cooking skills then this is the place to go. Im a beginner and my cooking improved after the first class. There two things that I dont think are emphasized on their website so I will highlight them here:1) Although the Cookwise series is marketed as a series and the classes do build on each other, I believe you could take the classes out of order and still gain the knowledge. This is important for me because I had scheduling conflicts over the 16 weeks and was worried the instruction would be compromised if I missed a class here and there. As it turns out, you can reschedule missed classes to when they are offered in the future.2) During each class, we make a yummy dinner that would rival any restaurant. The value is that much better when you consider that dinner is included in each class.I would highly recommend Sizzleworks!!!

Carol and her Sizzleworks team always does an amazing job at bringing people together for a wonderful time with mouth watering food! Chef Carol also donates time to compete in Luxe Magazines annual Battle of the Chefs event where six teams compete in an hour long iron chef competition to help raise money for charity - this year Team Sizzleworks won Best Dessert which beat-out: Barking Frog, El Gaucho, Pearl, Lark, Trace/W Hotel - bravo Chef Carol! Chef Carol also hosted a BOTC reunion dinner at Sizzleworks which was a blast and a great celebration of her team! Were still talking about the Pumpkin goat Cheese tartlets and Maple Bourbon Mousse - beyond!!! Sizzleworks rocks and I cant recommend them enough for a company party, anniversary or team building event! We love Chef Carol!!!
