Just for everyone who thinks that Newport has a higher curriculum. why would there be different curriculum in THE SAME district. The curriculum is ALL THE SAME. They may focus more on AP classes but the curriculum is still the same. Just Google it and bsd says the pretty much the same thing

A lot of homework but a very great education. The students here are also much nicer than some of the others in the district.

This school is by far the best school I have ever gone to. The place just makes me feel so happy, all the people are nice, and the students are all really smart. The Band, Orchestra and Choir are all very talented, and the students are really punctual and study hard for finals and other tests. There is a bus for students who live around the Eastgate Area, due to the fact that there is always traffic since you are crossing 3 major schools, Somerset, Eastgate & Tyee.

As a graduate of Hazen HS in Renton SD, I admire the academic rigor at Newport HS. The students in Renton are slackers and have involvement with the police or school policies. If you can, try applying to attend at Newport.

The teachers there are super nice, and the AP Classes teach you a lot of things and get you super prepared for the AP Tests.

High academic standards with an excellent athletic program. After the remodel around 2006, the classrooms, gyms and facilities are state of the art and in phenomenal condition.

As you get further into the year, the teachers somehow believe it is OK to give you more and more homework. Newport is also the only school that makes freshmen run the four mile.

SCREW THIS PLACE THEIR GUITAR CLASS DOESNT EVEN USE 8 STRINGS
