We had a great experience here and I highly recommend it. This was the first daycare for my daughter and she was 2 and half when she started. It was a difficult transition for her but after a couple weeks she loved it, and she asked to go on the weekends. Its professional, communication is great, and everyone was really kind. From the point I contacted the center to the day she started was just a few days.

I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and care demonstrated by the staff and teachers at Yarrow Bay Kinder Care. My toddler had never been to a day care before and it was extremely difficult for her to adjust in a new environment. The teachers worked patiently with my toddler which allowed her slowly adjust. The teachers care and affection allowed my child to build trust with them and she started getting comfortable. Within a month, my child was completely adjusted thanks to the efforts put in by the teachers. No two child is alike and each of them need a different level of attention and care and the folks at Yarrow Bay Kinder Care understand and imbibe that philosophy. I was very happy with my experience and I would highly recommend them.

Sep 2018 - Their daycare staff had long nails and hurt my kid on day 1 while changing her diapers. The daycare director tried to handle the situation, but the teacher showed no remorse. Director did not give us access to videotapes. I feel it was a charade by the director, as the teacher still continues to work there.I understand that Seattle/Eastside is growing rapidly, but parents please do yourself a favor and wait for enrollment spots to open up at a good daycare.

We moved from Florida to Washington in 2018 and the staff of this center has been nothing but accommodating, caring and flexible . They are really my second family , my son is going to kindergarten now and my heart is broken that i wont see their friendly faces everyday. The center is clean, kids have fun and are well taken care of.

We are very happy with the infant and waddler programs at this center, especially with Ms. Gehan in the infant room. This is the first time my child went to a daycare so it took him a few days to settle in. The teachers were very warm, welcoming, and made sure he was given a lot of attention in the transition period. After 2 weeks, my child has been very happy going to daycare. Diapers are changed every 2 hours and cream applied with BM. Meal time is clean and well organized. My baby is always content, happy, and safe when we pick him up.Also they just started implementing the mobile app to help parents get real time updates and photos. This has been amazing as it eases our mind during the day knowing they are safe and playing well.

Overall, this a great center if youre looking for a day care. We had 2 of our kids here with our son being here from when he was 3 months up until today when hes nearly 6 years old and moving on to kindergarten. The teachers genuinely care about the kids. Also, the center is right down the road from the South Kirkland Park & Ride which makes it easy to get to if you depend on a bus to get to/from Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, etc.

Having experience with other daycares and a nanny-share, this KinderCare is one of my favorites. The teachers seem very well supported (not frazzled or burned out like Ive seen elsewhere). Diapers are changed frequently and well; the facilities are clean too!I also love the fantastic communication with the director and assistant director. My emails get responses within hours (that doesnt happen at other places Ive experiences) and its easy to catch them at drop-off and pick-up for quick chats.

My 3.5 girl likes this place. Although I drive by daily I never thought of putting her in here. Start with Monesori at 3 for her but they were not sympathetic to kids. This place is clean. Perfect location. Teachers are involved. Good activities. Only negative thing is they don’t clean kids nose. They just let kids do it themselves Which isn’t always clean. My daughter nose was a mess whenever I see her. (She had a cold)

Love, love this daycare!! The teachers are awesome and really love the kids. I recommend them to everyone.

Super caring staff - we used them on and off for a couple years and always took good care of our kids.

Infant care - My baby started when she was 5.5 months old. The infant care teachers were warm and welcoming. I was at peace at office , after leaving her at the daycare. They called me whenever my immediate attention was required. And, gave me information if food/milk has to be increased based on her need. Specifically her teachers Bahareh, Faiza and Anjum were fantastic. Would recommend for my friends

Tldr;Had such a horrible experience, we had to remove our daughter in 2 months and it went down so bad that we literally had to go another day care after picking our daughter from this one and enroll her there the same day.NEVER TRUST THEM TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILD!!We moved our 2.5 yr daughter from Bothell to Yarrow bay Kindercare. And its understandable that she took time adjusting there, but even after 2 months, every morning she was not happy to go to school. So for sure she was not happy there. Her class teacher was Miss Raksha and Neha. While Neha was nice, Raksha and a substitute teacher(Nafisa) is the main reason we had to remove her from that school. Little background about Nafisa: She was born in Afghanistan and grew up in Russia. Her english is so poor. I wouldnt want my daughter to pickup language from her.On the other hand, Raksha is partial. She behaves differently with every kid and calls names. Our daughter is generally very active, but since she was not liking it there, she was not the same. We told Raksha that at home she is very active. She responded by saying that she is very lethargic here. No parent would like to hear that. If the kid is not active and parents tell otherwise, then the teacher has to figure out why thats happening. My daughter was not eating well there, so instead of working with us, she used to blame us as to why we are feeding her this and that for breakfast.Let me come back to Nafisa. One day Raksha was out and Nafisa was supervising the class the whole day. When we picked up our daughter, her diaper was full to max limit. When we complained about it, everyone gave us different reasons and the stories didnt match. And after that Nafisas attitude with our daughter changed completely. And one friday after that when we dropped her off, we saw Nafisa treating her so badly that we couldnt keep another day there and we removed her from there.Cherry on the ice cream, after removing her when we went back to pick up her stuff, we told the director the exact reason we removed her and the director sided Raksha and Nafisa. So I dont think there was any hope of anything getting better. And when we went to pick up her stuff in the classroom, Raksha literally slammed the door on us.My daughter is going back to the Bothell Kindercare is she is more happy than ever. Every morning she goes to school with excitement. Some days she herself says that she wants to go to school.

Had a terrible experience with yarrowbay kindercare. We moved our daughter from Bothell kindercare to yarrowbay kindercare since the latter was just 5 mins from our workplace. Our daughter took sometime(2 weeks) to adjust to this new place which we quite expected. She was in discovery preschool in the yarrow bay and her teachers were namely, Miss Neha, Miss Rakhsha Agrawal, Miss Nafisa. Miss Neha is gentle with the kids but Miss Rakhsha has a bossy tone which I believe doesnt go well with the kids. She literally used to have the snappy tone while discussing our daughters daily report including her eating habits. My daughter is a poor eater but something in that classroom scared her so much that she literally started puking everyday during her meal times(without even tasting food) not to forget mentioning that she was doing absolutely fine at home, eating how much she usually does and no puking at all at home. My daughter is usually very active but Miss Rakhsha used to call names(lethargic, dull) without even understanding the severity of the terms she used. We were shocked to hear such words from a teachers mouth. It is then we decided to remove her from this daycare. And when we raised the concern to the director she simply suppressed the issue in a very diplomatic way saying that Miss Rakhsha is here since one year and so on.Miss Nafisa has communication issues and one day when she was with the kids for the entire day, she didnt change my daughters daiper at all since morning. When we picked our daughter after school her diaper was maxed out and was at the verge of bursting. When we asked them the next day as to why the daiper was not changed, they all came up with their own stories. These are just the couple of incidents I have mentioned here amongst many.We have moved our daughter back to the Bothell kindercare and she is happy since the day she rejoined. And everyday she says to us that she wants to go to miss crystals school (her Bothell teacher) and dont want to go to miss Rakhshas school( yarrow bay teacher)Most of the teachers in Yarrowbay cant even communicate properly and seems very unprofessional. We made a biggest mistake of putting our daughter in yarrowbay kindercare.

We love the Yarrow Bay Kindercare. The teachers are very warm, knowledgeable and great with the children. Ms. Mirza, the Center Director, is very responsive to our needs. Ms. Gehan, one of the infant teachers, is so sweet, helpful and cares deeply for the babies. We are glad we chose the Yarrow Bay Kindercare for our daycare.

Very nice director, teachers are also patient to kids.
