A lot of our employees come from the Bellevue school district and most of them dont have the skills to succeed in real life. They stand around staring all day long, find ingenious ways to waist time, work doesnt get done, they call out a lot, wine and complain a lot ( a lot more than a normal individual), and their phone takes priority over work. Im not saying that its all the people that went to the Bellevue school school district but its sure the hell a lot. The responsible ones go up the ladder or go off to school and get a better career. Its unfortunate that most dont.

I have not seen much bullying. I have seen the teachers promote their social agendas in the schools. Keep an eye out for it. Promoting social causes in elementary school! Keep that stuff out and focus on the basics.

I dont understand why people are rating this one star even though some of them dont even go to this district, they base this district off of one article not off of real life experience. This is a really good district, with great education and usually there is no bullying. But most schools will have bullying at some point so you cant give Bellevue School District a one star off of something that can happen at every school.

Rating this five stars because Im kind of ticked off that people who dont even go to these schools are giving one-star reviews thanks to the Nasir Andrews articles. Bullying happens in a lot of schools: one example of it doesnt mean the school is terrible, and has no connection with the entire district.

Agree with below, Bellevue and districts like it used to provide a solid, no nonsense foundation in early, formative years. Now they set the bar low with a standardized curriculum of watered down basics interwoven with agenda-driven fluff on children as young as 5. This centralized curriculum has become so bloated, so complex that it requires more time and more teachers. All the while, parents have been necessarily removed from any responsibility in their childs education. We are told that self-assessed scores are up so it must be working.Parents, children and even teachers are now incidental to the education process. The only ones who benefit from top down education are the bloated administrations and the parasitic organizations that feed on it...

Spent grade 8 thru 12 in this district. Although I dreaded it at the time, looking back I feel grateful.

You all let your kids get picked on and do nothing about it when they are a child of color. Pretty pathetic. Step it up a bit.
