This school is not one to favor. The staff there discriminate and single students out negatively. Theyre not helpful or informative. I would NEVER recommend any Parent to enroll their child.

I do not recommend this school to anyone. The Principle does not support parents or students. My nephew was sexually harassed by another boy who pulled his penis out and wiggled his behind at him. They failed to notify my sister. Had my nephew not came home to notify myself and my sister wed never known. When asked about the incident the Principle stated that by law shes not allowed to tell us the level of discipline for that child and blamed the teacher as to why we werent notified.Oh but we were definitely notified when he told that same kid hes not gay. Smh this school doesnt deserve one star.

I actually went for kinder-6th grade and it was amazing!! But. They dont let use hang in groups of 5 😴 if we do we have to sit down ..like what the

Please do not send your kids here if this is your home school. Try to send them to another school if you can, apply for a permit. The staff pretend to be nice when they are not and they are rude and not professional. They lose paperwork and make you have to get everything all over again and wont admit to any fault. They do not inform you all the details needed for enrollment or when trying to get a permit and that is a pain in the neck because now you have to make time for all this unneccessary time consuming trips back and forth. These individuals including the staff by the name Shirley treats people in a descrimination way. I am so glad my kids do not attend to this school. People like this should not have a job where they hate to be working to help parents. I feel bad for the kids that come here and possibly get treated bad. I hope that someone is reading this and does not have to go through any situation as I encounter or like others have from reading the reviews. I spoke to the principal and her behavior was one that does not care. The look on her face said it all. The Bellflower Unified School District should take these reviews seriously and take action and do their jobs by contacting these individuals and making sure their attitudes change towards parents and students. This principal and staff will stand before GOD on judgement day! Be aware!Time to file a complaint!

Great school and although it has its ups and downs i love this school the teachers really care and the staff are nice and although it doesnt have a very good playground i still love this school so much they always greet you with respect and kindness i recommend sending your kid her.

It is an amazing school I actually left Thomas J. I was a sixth grader it is a fun helping school they really help with anything do lots of fun activities n show kids a lot of new ways to learn for sure u should send ur student there-Hailey

Worst School ever. The staff so unprofessional. When you arrive to the office they never never say hello how can I help you. And 4 months into the school year the teacher bought to my attention that my child is not doing a test that they do every week. And so many other stuff...

We moved from Texas to California. My daughter attended Thomas Jefferson for 3 yrs. She loved her 4th grade Teacher Mr. Moore & her 5th grade Teacher Mrs. Naluai. She entered 6th grade & she had 3 Teachers. Ms. Deleon, Ms. Quiroga & Ms. Bergman.My daughter would come home almost everyday crying & say that Ms. Bergman was always rude to her & I would just tell her its ok maybe its just you taking it the wrong way. Welllllll I was sooooo wrong!! I should have listened to my daughter when she told me so that I could have put Ms. Bergman in her place since the beginning!!!! My daughter was selected to be a GATE student but as soon as she entered 6th grade & specifically with Ms. Bergman all her grades started getting super low & I know it is my fault because I did not pay attention when she would tell me. Please listen to you child whenever they come home & say that they are not comfortable around their teacher. My poor child suffered mentally because of this TEACHER. I sure did go & put her in her place. Now I thought that Mrs. Dominguez the Principal would be the mediator & she turned out to be the same way as Ms. Bergman. Might I add again she is the Principal & acted like a child rolling her eyes & acting very selfishly. She told me What do you want to do it is to late already to do anything I was in shock when she told me that. She said You can take her out for the rest of the year & she can do her homework at home with an attitude! Thank GOD she will not be going to that school anymore!

Hate moved to California from Texas for two years moved back hat that school they did not even do anything their just color and count hate the school and the state and do show and tell so unpreffestional and do tiny tiny packets come on guys do you want your Kids smart or not the computer lab was horrible

This school was so bad with only 2 on 2 basketball and couldnt even play catch with a football
