This review is long overdue. D.E.S is by far the best school out there! I was speaking with my coworker last week and realized that we both went here and had the same great experience. Not to mention that they are also the most affordable based on the other schools I checked out before them. I graduated in 2016, and I honestly have been so successful in this business due to building such a strong foundation with them. You know how some schools are so helpful and nice during orientation and then once they get your money it’s a completely different story? Not here! The owner of the business was teaching lectures himself! I mean come on! And they take pride in you doing well long after graduation. I was 21 at that time but most of my classmates were 40+ and hadn’t been in school years. Everyone took time with each of us individually to work on our trouble areas. I also appreciated the transparency. Mike (the owner) knew that I was working two jobs while going through the program. There would be times that I’d fall asleep during lectures or not do my homework. He’d tell me after class that he noticed and then would ask our instructor to stay later with me and a few others to make sure we were really getting the information we needed to pass the exams. When it was time to take the state exam an older gentleman was having a rough time and failed twice. They never gave up on him. Each time he failed they’d bring him back in and prep him all over again. He finally passed the 3rd time and that completed the whole class passing! Even after that Sharon and Mike would send out emails of local jobs that were hiring which is how I snagged my first job. I’d recommend D.E.S over any school out there any day!

My experience at this school was amazing and fantastic. The classes were practical, educational and exciting! Our wonderful instructor Mr. Michael Morales made the study clear for me to understand. After graduating highschool and becoming a young mom in 2015 I needed a stable career , dialysis was the route for me to take that Im glad I took because it has opened up many doors to bigger opportunities . Dialysis Education provided me with excellent education , the program was fast and I had a job right away . I worked as a technician for a year and decided it was time to move on up. Dialysis Education gives you the opportunity to have a great career in the medical field and the demand for dialysis technicians are high. Out of all the Dialysis schools I’ve looked into Dialysis Education Services was the best in my opinion I have three family members that went to three different schools and all spoke highly about where they went, one was this school and after looking into all three schools as well as two others I made the decision to join the class of 2020 reason being is this school makes it easy for you to understand everything you need to know to be a dialysis technician such as in class reviews and a huge lab where you can get hands on training with the machines whenever you’d like. This is a place to make mistakes and learn from them, the owner Michael Morales gave me a quick over view of the machines and what we will be learning in the lab and just by how friendly and confident he is in teaching dialysis I new this was the place that I was gonna choose to Be a certified Dialysis tech. Can’t come a cross staff that is as caring and empathetic as the staff at DES. Combining expert instruction with realistic hands-on lab, the student is able to easily assimilate into any work environment. The school also provides study material and instruction to better prep students into passing the licensing exam. Normal timeline to pass usually occurs within 4-6 months! I fully enjoyed my time at this institution, and couldn’t have been better prepared to enter the field of dialysis.

It is a great school. I am an RN returning to dialysis after being gone for many years. The instructors are very knowledgeable, personable and professional. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They take you step by step in the lab and lecture, applying what you are learning. They do a thorough review in preparation for the state certification test. Ample time is given to review lab procedures and the lecture portion. They have elearning which was very helpful in reviewing for each module covered. I would highly recommend DES for becoming a Dialysis Technician or for an RN who wants to go into the field.

Great program here, when deciding to become a dialysis technician DES really stood out over the other schools by their professionalism and the reviews of already working dialysis techs. Course material is covered in depth and explained so anyone can understand, both the lab teacher and lecture teacher make sure no one is left behind on any topic. The lab has multiple dialysis machines that are the industry standard so when you begin work as a tech youre already familiar with the equipment. Before going to DES i attended a different trade school, and coming to DES was a much better experience, not only did they teach me everything i would need to know and more about both renal failure and dialysis, once i finished the course they kept in touch with me and helped with job leads. DES is not your run of the mill trade school, If you want a good education in the medical field backed by serious professionals, this is the school for you.

I passed the California Dialysis Certificate (CDC) in less than 2 months. Everyone is a pro especially Michael Morales, hes always on point. I tried DTI at Orangethorpe Avenue, Buena Park but they dont come as near as my experience with DES!

I attended Dialysis education services to follow a dream to help people with CKD .This school fulfilled all my expectations and more. They supply you with everything you will need. What I love about this school that it wasnt just a professor infront of the class talking the whole time and you trying to figure out what planet your in. They actually include you in the lesson. Not like these other schools that toss you a book and say Here teach yourself and you wont ever see a machine. They teach you how to work the machine as well until you get it PERFECTLY!
