The way the lessons are taught it helps you, not just retain the information UNDERSTAND the information. In my opinion the NMLS is a very difficult test. I believe the reason it’s so difficult is that the wording and phasing of questions can be very challenging to understand and will confuse most people. This class will greatly enhance your ability to understand the questions, but more important this class will teach you the right answer for the exam questions. I recommend that if you take the 20-hour class, that you make sure to take the Mastery Exam Prep course. My last piece of advice, no matter how smear, of how much experience you have, MAKE SURE YOU STUDY.

I took my pre-licensing classes from another vendor, which class also included an exam prep course. I honestly didn’t feel like I was getting anything out of the exam prep, so purchased 2 study guide books. Again, it didnt feel like I was getting what I needed. Id heard from many people that the exam was tough, and that the first-time pass rate was fairly low.I found Artricia and Affinity on YouTube, and after watching several videos and reading other reviews, I purchased their Mastery Exam Prep. I went through all of it, took a lot of notes, and re-watched several of the modules to reinforce what Id learned before I dove into the 15 (!) included practice exams. Between the modules, slides, practice exams, and all the bonus materials included, I went in to the exam feeling confident. It worked! I passed the exam on my first try.I highly recommend Affinity for your exam prep. And if you havent already gone through your pre-licensing classes, consider using Affinity for those as well.

Good for studying. But the 3 month expiration should be advertised. 260$ for the course then unbeknownst to me once that 3 months is over its an additional 50$. Seems like the initial payment should suffice for material that is not changing or being updated. Not everyone can pass first try and its already 110$ per try.

Honestly, such an amazing investment. I took the 20 hour Pre licensing course elsewhere, and did not feel prepared at all for the exam. I found Affinity, and I purchased the exam test prep course, and it was well worth every penny. I scored a 96% on the NMLS exam on my first try!! Artricia really had everything down to a science, she knew exactly how to explain every detail in order to make sure that you understand the concepts. I liked EVERYTHING about Affinitys Class! Artricia’s energy was very refreshing and kept my attention through hours of study. She even cracked a couple of jokes throughout the classes! Loved it!! This is THE BEST course for MLO training. It is definitely an investment, but you will NOT be disappointed. I passed on the FIRST attempt with 91%. Take the 20 hour course first, then the Mastery Prep. The 500 audible flashcards are perfect to play all day long, and be sure to watch the modules multiple times. Mrs. Woods is the best instructor, and everything they lay out is easy to understand, CURRENT, and accurate. Buy the course. For real. This course was pivotal in my success when taking the NMLS exam. You are given all the tools you need to pass the test when the pre-licensing course is paired with the master class.They are responsive when you reach out, and will be as active in your learning as possible. Highly recommend!

When I first took the exam, I used CompuCram, I failed with a 73% while scoring 90%+ in the simulated exams .It helped a lot with general learning in mortgage but with affinity, not only did it help me learn about mortgages from a general standpoint, but it helped immensely with the in depth learning about the little things that tend to trick you. Using affinity, I was able to pass with an 82% on my second attempt. Although Articia Woods is no longer with us, she left behind a legacy that helped a young student like me and everybody else pass the exam. I recommend 10 out of 10!

This course was extremely helpful. I passed on the first try as a result of going through the NMLS EXAM PREP crash course. There is a lot of material and Affinity and the professor refined the material to make it much easier to study for the exam. If you dont want to spend months trying to go though the entire book and if you want to pass the NMLS exam on the first try I highly suggest the mastery exam prep crash course!

I want to share my experience. I took and failed the NMLS exam twice before learning about the Affinity Real estate & Mortgage training program. Passed test on my 2nd try yesterday!Decided to purchase the audio flash cards/700 term/study exam package, watch her YouTube videos and it was super helpful. I used the control F option to easily navigate through the material. Failed once with a 71%, rescheduled immediately. All in all I Studied intermittently for over 3 months. This class was so great! It helped me out so much. I took way the nmls exam the first time and failed. I was so upset and didnt know how to go about studying all over again. But someone had recommended I watch YouTube videos from Affinity real estate and eventually it made me decide to sign up for the exam prep mastery course. Everything was explained and also the quality of the content provided made it worth the money I spent for the class. Extra studying is obviously required even after taking this course but it helps you understand what areas you need to work on and makes the studying process easier compared to studying and taking the test without the exam prep class beforehand. I signed up for the 20 hour online course while my kids were on summer break. I felt good about learning the information that was given to me and went and took the test. I failed twice with scores of 66% and 61% and heard terms on the test that I had never heard in the information I was given from my course. I called affinity to see if there was other information they could give me and the lady said “well did you take the test prep course also?” um, no. I thought the 20 hours that is required by law was going to teach me what I needed to know. Apparently you only get two thirds of the information unless you spend more money. Thanks

Very Clean and Comfortable Learning Environment. Provides Great drinks, Snacks & Clean Restrooms. 20 hr class starts on time, so dont be late. Easy lay out, what you need to know power-points accompanied by detailed textbook. Instructor was very detailed and direct with laying out the learning material. Practice test are completed at the end of each chapter. Math portion is very very detailed. If you were confused before, you wont be anymore. Instructor explained how to apply for the test, what the text is about and the layout of the test, which is very useful.******Great Class******* Its a must have*******I plan to take the Crash Review Course as well.

I took another certified & expensive course prior to finding Affinity and didnt pass my MLO exam. After taking her Mastery course I was finally prepared to pass the exam and I DID!! Their teaching methods of memory tricks, flash cards(especially audio) and numerous practice exams are the only way I would have passed this. This exam is just too hard for memorization. The material course is designed for all types of students. I did the webinar on my own time. I was able to pass the exam on the first try. I only studied for 11 days. I totally recommend their MLO course.

Artricia Woods explains everything! She helps you find ways to remember all the information you are going over. She supplies the tools you need to pass the test. I went through all the material. Made my notes. Studied till I thought my brain would turn to mush. It is up to you to follow through with it. I can not think her enough!!!

After failing the exam the first time, I was in desperate need of learning the information in a different way. I think the biggest mistake most of us make is thinking we can teach this material to ourselves. WRONG!!!! After I found a quick YouTube video demonstration of how Ms. Woods teach the class, I knew then that I needed her program. I purchased the exam prep course. I studied for about 3-4 weeks before attempting the exam a second time. Her course is so thorough and she gives so many different ways to remember the material. I walked into the testing center so confident. I walked out with the paper saying “PASS”! I could not have done it without this course.

I use Affinity for my 20 hr and boot camp and 8 hr CE. They really are top notch. The live 20 hr and boot camp really made a big difference in understanding all of the information and I passed on the 1st time. The online CE course was easy to understand and pass the final exam easily. Both times the staff and teaching was excellent and easy to get questions answered and information on renewal. I’ll use them again and will refer anyone I know to them.

I came across Affinity’s content on YouTube and purchased the mastery course along with the audible flashcards. I was able to understand the most difficult and tricky topics to prepare me for the exam. If you’ve failed the exam or it’s your first time I would recommend the training.
