The sunset cruise was an incomparable experience— skipper Todd was so kind and knowledgeable and safe and the vessel was absolutely beautiful. There are many spots to sit and bask in the sunset (including a net which skims over the water like a hammock!) and you are free to bring some snacks. I would do nothing different except maybe bring a blanket. It’s a such bonus that the trip is eco friendly, owing to the wind and electric engine. I can’t wait to come back!

We loved it - the captain was very knowledgeable and pointed out a bunch of the scenery, as well as the deckhand too. Best part was that with the electric power there was no motor smell.

This sunset cruise was amazing. Skipper Todd was so knowledgeable about all the islands and sea life. We saw a couple of seals and some porpoises. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting a breath of fresh sea air. #GatoVerdeSailing

My family and I went on the sunset cruise. It was a blast! In these times of Covid, Todd made us feel very safe while also giving us the full sailing experience. He was quick to respond to my concerns about social distancing over the phone. Once there, he wore a mask and had red tape outlined so you can maintain a safe distance. It did not interfere at all in the fun. Just single house hold trips allowed at this point which made me feel much safer.We brought wine and snacks. I was surprised at how large the cat was with two gathering spaces, one inside and outside and a kitchen. Todd was very informative on the area and lovely to chat with. It was a beautiful sunset. Would definitely go again, try the weekend trip next!

Best way to see a sunset is with Gato Verde. Capt Todd provide a wonderful experience and was especially careful with Covid concerns. I’ll definitely take a cruise again.

Such an amazing experience! We went out for an hour and a half and it was perfect winds all the way. I highly recommend this to anyone, especially because of the super knowledgeable and friendly Captain Todd.

Booked a sunset cruise. Had an amazing time. Todd was professional in every aspect yet engaging to talk and very knowledgeable. Our kids 9, 11, 14 along with their grandfather had such a good time they wanted to keep on sailing. The nets (hammocks) are must when on the Gato Verde! Hope to book another trip soon!

What a fun experience! Todd is awesome and the catamaran is beautiful. We will definitely be booking here again.

This is a very cool place for tourists or for young kids. They have a ton of signage with educational hostorical facts and stories about the area.They have a small cafeteria here, so if you are really hungry eat before hand.Also, they have fishing and crabbing spots here; just be careful and read the signage. Not all spots on this pier are open for fishing and crabbing.You can also buy tickets for ferries and cruises here.

2 hour cruise. Captain Todd knows his stuff and is incredibly kind. Already thinking about taking a multi-day trip. Highly recommended.

I have used Todd and Gato Verde multiple times over the course of 12+ years. We have never been disappointed in any way. Customer service is great, the boat is always perfect, and Todd someone makes the weather perfect every time were on board. This is one of Bellinghams hidden secrets. A true affordable luxury for all. Cant recommend highly enough.

Six of us set sail for a two hour cruise around Bellingham Baya. The boat is meticulous. Todd is a kind and courteous guide and captain. I highly recommend Gato Verde Adventure Sailing!!!!!

We absolutely LOVE sailing with Captain Todd Shuster on the Gato Verde. Weve been out 3 or 4 times in as many years. We have two toddlers, and we usually book the whole boat for a sunset cruise with the kids and our friends with their kids -- 12 of us on board + Captain Todd. We bring some wine and take-out and have a sailing picnic out on Bellingham Bay. The view of Mt. Baker, the City, and South Hill are SPECTACULAR and the quiet speed and stability of the sailboat are absolutely dreamy. We do hope to do a multi-day with Captain Todd one of these years, hitting up some islands and maybe some Orca pods along the way. Cant recommend this experience highly enough -- especially for the price. Truly one of Bellinghams best values in easily-accessible-adventure. -- Brandon Nelson

Our family has sailed with Todd on several occasions on both hourly and overnight cruises . I try to book some time on the boat every time Im in town to visit relatives . I cant think of a better experience one can share with family.
