Unlike the other reviews here, I was drawn to this school for its adult language class. I was looking to refresh my knowledge of Spanish. All About Spanish proved to be a great way to get back into it. The classes are convenient, enjoyable and a great learning environment. The teachers are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It has been a great experience meeting new folks and working to improve my understanding and conversational skills.

I work with Angelica 3x per week to reach my goal of passing oral and written proficiency exams and becoming a certified TESOL and Spanish teacher! I have studied the Spanish language for many years and have learned more with Angelica in a few short months than I learned in much of my formal study of the language. Her curriculum is concise, clear, and touches on all the main points of Spanish grammar. She was excellent in evaluating my level. Most importantly, I am more motivated than ever to become bilingual and look forward to our lessons each week. HIGHLY recommend!

After struggling to find a Spanish language class for adults that truly addresses the needs of the learner, I stumbled upon All about Spanish on recommendation from a co-worker who had previously taken classes there. I currently work as an an ENL teacher and am pursuing a bilingual certification in Spanish in order to teach more effectively and out of personal interest. Out of all the varied adult language programs that I have taken; All About Spanish adult classes are undoubtedly the best! For starters, the classes center around conversation and getting people speaking! This is all done done in a comfortable, supportive and fun environment with dedicated staff members who understand the needs of language learners. All of the staff are either former teachers with foreign language backgrounds and/or currently employed as teachers. Grammar is also a focus of each class and is used to drive conversation. The classroom environments are very accepting and comfortable with questions always being encouraged from staff. I look forward to each class and cant stress enough what an exceptional staff comprise the school. I have made significant progress and feel confident that I will achieve my language goals in a few years thanks to this program. If youre looking to learn Spanish as an adult, this is the place for you!

Our public schools do an OK job of teaching out kids basic Spanish words sufficient enough to pass tests. However we wanted more. We wanted our children to be able to read, write and understand spanish in a conversational way. It was important that we could walk into a restaurant where the servers primary language was Spanish and they could order 100% in Spanish. Where they could go back to their public school Spanish classes and have amazing confidence, speak and understand better than most of the class. All About Spanish did this for us. Amazing staff. Great facility. My daughters lives have been positively impacted by our decision to send them here.

My now 4 year old daughter entered the school because we moved into the neighborhood in November when all other programs were closed. She quickly picked up the language and speaks and sings constantly at home in Spanish even though both my wife and myself are non-Spanish speakers.After a year at All about Spanish, we decided to place our daughter in a program at Merrick Woods for the summer, only to be disappointed. From her brief stint at Merrick Woods, she forgot her numbers, how to write her name and became very lackadaisical in school.We wasted no time and placed her back in All About Spanish. The program is truly amazing. It is a competitive program and the curriculum is extremely rigorous.More importantly Senorita Norma is such a receptive and polite person. Althought she is no-nonsense, she is extremely caring when it comes to all the kids. My daughter truly loves the school and I would not trade All About Spanish for any other school. I just wished this school continued through all the grades.

I previously lived several towns over and had found All About Spanish back when my daughter was a little over 1 years old. I figured with the drive it wouldn’t work for me at that time. Fast forward, and we just moved to the area. Although I had someone recommend All About Spanish, I remembered they were in Bellmore and called to sign my daughter up. My husband is Hispanic and even though he speaks to her, he works often so I truly wanted her to be fluent in a second language. So I signed her up several months ago and it is absolutely amazing how she can count in both languages, knows her colors and is talking so much. Even Spanglish now which makes my husband and I so happy!I am very grateful for All About Spanish and she will definitely be attending for many years!!!

We are truly grateful to have found this program for our now four year old daughter. The teachers are not only sweet and supportive, but challenge each individual student in a productive way. As an education company, we know about developing curriculum and this one by far exceeds expectations of any of the competing nursery and preK schools in the area.

Ms. Karhold is such an awesome teacher. She is patient and committed to the learning of our children. Wonderful all around.

Our son was very very shy initially & didnt understand Spanish. After 8 months through the program & support of the teachers he now count numbers, knows ABCs, colors, sings songs and is able to listen and speak beginner to intermediate Spanish. As a bonus he is much more outgoing & looks forward to each class. We highly recommend them, not only is the place clean and organized, but the staff and Mrs Norma take the time individually with each child to help them develop at their own pass. We love this program so much We started just two days a week and decided to enroll 5 days! We look forward to watching our sons growth in this program thru the years.

My son has been going to this wonderful program since he was 3 years old. He started the Early Childbood Program with limited vocabulary that he learned at home with us because we are from the Domican Republic and flourished in his class and learned how to speak with more fluency with Mrs. Norma. Today he turns 6 years old and I visited his class with Mrs. Karhold to celebrate his birthday and I was amazed on how much he has learned the past 3 years. He has learned how to read and write in Spanish; and more importantly to speak fluently and is in the Heritage Program where all the students only speak Spanish. Im so proud of my son! Thank you All About Spanisn and for everything you do!!!!!

My daughter was in the Saturday morning 3-4 year old program and absolutely loved it. She looked forward to Saturday mornings and was so in love with her teachers Senora Miriam and Senora Karhold. I cannot say enough good things about the schools Director Senora Norma, who has done such an amazing job in her teacher selection. My daughter graduated from the 3-4 year old program this past summer, and is now in the 5-7 year old program with Senor Chris and Senora Evelyn. She is still loving it, and it makes me feel so good to see how much she respects and admires her new teachers. We do not speak Spanish at home, but it is evident that my daughters vocabulary has greatly expanded since starting at All About Spanish, as she is able to understand other Spanish speaking family and friends. I also love that the classes are full immersion, and the way the language is being taught through song and in-class projects. It is very important to me to have my daughter speak a 2nd language, and she is well on her way with the guidance of Senora Norma and the other profesores at All About Spanish.
