I was impressed the minute I walked into this establishment. You could tell that the students are the priority here. I have been to other schools that fit in lessons on the side of their instrument sales. Besides being extremely professional and following COVID safety precautions, the teacher my daughter had used extremely helpful techniques to support her learning. There is definitely room to grow and inspiration to be found amongst these talented and passionate professionals.

More importantly, my granddaughter Jennifer thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience with Mr. Cubas.

My daughter (6 yrs old) just had her first guitar lesson with Mr. Ned and it was wonderful. Everyone at NYMC was very sweet when we arrived and during the lesson. Their space is very clean and they make sure everyone is socially distant and following protocols. I highly recommend!

Had a very nice first experience. The instructor Pete was kind and took necessary safety precautions for COVID. My 6 year exclaimed he was a good teacher too. Pete advised on necessary tips after class. It was great to get feedback. Javi the receptionist was also very welcoming and accommodating. Looking forward to a great learning experience for the kids.

My son (4 yo) learns piano and drum with Mr. Casey at New York music school and he absolutely loves it! He is attentive and patient to my sons needs. Furthermore, Daniela, the office manager, is very helpful to us. She is such a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

My 7 years old daughter has taking singing lessons at the center for the past 5 months. She absolutely loves her teacher (Ms Rheanna) and were seeing consistent improvements over time. The centers staff are always very helpful and supportive! We love it so much that were signing up for violin lessons as well!

I spoke to Daniela the manager and asked for a refund for classes we wont be taking. I told her we wont be going back to this school. She said she will speak to the owner/director and get back to me tomorrow. Day 2 - She never calls back, I call the desk and they said Daniela already left for the day. I asked to speak to the owner/director, the girl at the desk said the director rarely comes in she teaches at another school. I asked her to tell the director to call me back then. She said she cant do that and the director doesnt deal with the parents. So I asked whos in charge?? She says, Just Daniela. Day 4 - Daniela tells me she spoke to the director and they dont give refunds.Theres TONS of music schools out there with talented owners present, hands-on that TRULY care about their students and parents. Theres no one to even speak to at this school. The owner doesnt even teach at her own school OR comes in!! Their front desk is instructed to tell parents that owner doesnt talk to parents. Wow, what a disgraceful school! By the way, alot of establishments offer to keep employees jobs if they provide certain number of positive reviews every month. DONT BELIEVE ANY OF THEIR REVIEWS!!! MY HONEST ADVICE STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

My 8 year old daughter started guitar lessons at NYMC in October and absolutely loves it! She really enjoys her weekly lessons with Andrew. She is learning so much and making so much progress. She looks forward to each and every lesson. My younger daughter is interested in piano, so will likely sign her up soon as well! Its a wonderful place!! The office staff is amazing as well!!

New York musician center is fabulous. The teachers are highly qualified and everyone including the receptionists are pleasant and helpful. My daughter has come so far as a musician. The teachers help the students aim for a goal. Everyone needs a goal and not just be mediocre. They help the kids strive to be the best. Thank you so much New York musician center for all that you do to get our kids to be the best that they can be in a clean relaxing and fun environment.

My son has been enrolled in music lessons here for about a year and I couldn’t be more pleased . The level of professionalism within the staff as well as teachers is remarkable in addition to the quality of lessons that are given . This school is run extremely efficiently with the attention that is given to each individual child with patience, warmth and positive reinforcement. Additionally there is opportunity to perform at recitals (which includes Carnegie Hall) and my usually shy son has begun to come out of his shell and gain confidence performing in front of an audience . He has learned so much in such a short period of time and definitely has gained such an appreciation for the art of music. Daniela who runs the front desk is such a positive addition to this school . She is extremely knowledgeable, organized , and always has a big smile on when you enter making the experience that much more pleasant. I look forward to Friday lessons because it’s the calm to my usually intense work week . I cannot emphasize how pleased I am to have my son enrolled in such an amazing program. Thank you for bringing to light my sons talent for music in such a positive environment, you guys rock !!!!

My kids have been coming to The New York Musicians Center for several years now, they have become an extention of our family. My daughter takes Vocal/Piano lessons with Miss Melissa, she is knowledgeable, kind, upbeat and has an undeniable charm and talent. My Son takes Drums lessons with Mr. Dan; he is another super talented musician. He is patient, down to earth, and always keeps the lessons fun and interesting. The staff, teachers, and office manager are the absolute best. Krystal, who works front desk, and Daniela, the office manager, are always welcoming with her charismatic smile and professionalism.

Fantastic school! Very organized. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The programs they offer are wonderful. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience. From the first time that we walked in the school, we were treated wonderfully. We were given a tour and everything was explained. Our children love their teachers, who are very motivating, and practice longer than they are instructed. Now they are excited about performing in a recital.

Been coming every Wednesday for 4+ years now, with my nephew and they have helped him blossom into a confident, talented, piano player (Mahendra for piano lessons) and rapper (Rob for vocal lessons). We couldn’t be any happier with the teachers, with the school and with the results! Our family highly recommends the New York Musician’s Center and so does our “Joey Beats!” 🤘🏼

We have been at NYMC since it opened, and we love this school! Daniela is always so friendly and professional, and I look forward to sitting in the waiting room in her presence every week. We love Miss Chrissy, as she has instilled a love for piano in my children. She always challenges them, and provides great feedback. My youngest child just started lessons with Miss Kaley, and so far he loves it! We love NYMC!!

I had a wonderful experience here. They have a friendly and patient staff. They offer lessons on a number of instruments including guitar which I am most interested in. There is a nice waiting area for both parents and students.

Today I saw first hand why so many people are so happy with NYMC. I watched Daniella being the NYMC mommy today with a young student. He had several issues: he needed to use the bathroom, then the soap wouldnt rinse from his hands and then he was thirsty. Without missing a beat, she treated him as her own child. The teachers and Daniellas attitude are what make a GREAT atmosphere for learning at NYMC!

My twins have been going to NYMC for over 4 and a half years. Both are taking violin with Ms. Courtney for the last 2 years, who is excellent BTW. I can truly say this center is amazing. The staff is 1st rate. Starting with Daniela and company at the front desk to all the teachers. When we first started I was a little skeptical that my guys would lose interest and fight me every week on going to lessons. It has been the exact opposite. They are always enthused and never want to miss a lesson. I highly recommend NYMCAlex G.

Im an adult who decided to take 3 piano lessons. It was a holiday deal 3 classes for 25$. There was some miscommunication in which I was charged a good sum of money. I called and they refunded me immediately. My instructor was Great. I learned alot in those 3 classes. I would recommend spending a full hour with the instructor rather than 30 min because the time flys and its hard to learn the full lesson of choice in such a short amount of time. I would recommend this music center to anyone whos interested in learning an instrument. Great customer service along with great music teachers.

The school is great but it’s really the teacher who can make your child either love the instrumen or not, specially for a biginner. A big thanks to our teacher Cameron who makes piano lessons wonderful for my son (who is only 5) and likes piano because of Cameron. He is extremely patient, playfull, fun with kids and knows how to push his students to bring the best in them. Thanks, we couldn’t have found a better teacher!!!!!

From the moment i walked in i could feel that this place was one one of those jems that are hard to come by. The owner is sweet and cheery and the teachers are knowledgeable. This center has a good number of rooms including a room for group lessons or group practice. I would definitally recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn or be involved with music.

Our kids have been going to NYMC for two years and they love it. Both have learned to play piano and have learned to love music. With our ever changing schedule of activities, NYMC has continuously been able to make changes to accommodate us! And of course the teachers have been terrific!!
