My son asked me to play organ for his wedding on October 30th 2020. I had played when I was young and was quite good at it. When I was drafted I walked away from the organ for 50 years. I found a nice Hammond console and practiced and memorized some wonderful music. I had a year to get good. My teacher built pipe organs for a living his entire life. I even offered to pay him to repair the Castles organ at my expense. They wouldnt allow it. His wedding is tomorrow October 2nd. 2021. I went to The Castle several times in July. The organs condition is atrocious. I was told by Johnny that he would get his parents permission to get a company from Milwaukee to fix it. Today when I went back up to get familiar with this beautiful monstrous pipe organ. It was in worse condition than it was 4-5 months ago. And I was informed by Jodi/y that that wasnt possible because Johnny had no parents. Another lie by someone. I showed her the text messages about this. And then she didnt even know the name of The Bridal March. Not knowing the name she tried to tell me how to play it. Like a blind person saying Do you see what I mean Lies and eneptitude is my review. What a shame. Gorgeous building.

Our daughters wedding and reception was held there last night and it was lovely. The food was delicious the venue one of a kind the staff was very courteous and helpful. Jodi was amazing she truly has the brides best interest at 💓 and really tried to make everything happen that was important to her. Hopefully with the up coming revenovations they will have a better AC unit. Jodi thank you for all your hard work energy and assistance your were a true blessing. The Castle did an amazing job I would highly recommend it

A warm and inviting atmosphere with a caring and attentive staff to match! Our daughters November wedding at The Castle went off without a hitch. We enjoyed the planning and decorating process as much as the ceremony and reception. Jody and her staff went out of their way to make sure it was a day none of us will forget. The comments from our guests were full of praise for the venue, food, staff, and overall fabulous time had by all! Highly recommended by this mother of the bride :)

The Beloit International Film Festivals annual singalong event, hosted by the Castle @ 501 Prospect in Beloit, was the best Ive seen in years! Maybe the best ever!! The BIFF 2020 featured film, BLUES BROTHERS, was a huge hit, which I attribute to the communitys love of the Castle venue, and the incredible program prepared by Jody Wittnebel (Castle co-owner), which included area talent (Rob Tomaro, Gaia Galvin, the Castle Players and more) performing wonderful accompaniments to many of the songs featured in the film, bringing a heightened entertainment experience for the packed house of BIFF film-goers. Food and beverage service (including wine and beer) was a welcome addition this year and John Wittnebel (Castle co-owner) did a great job of keeping the concessions flowing. Jake Handrich, Johnny Wittnebel and the rest of the Castle entertainment staff did a wonderful job of creating an eye and ear popping environment that transported the audience to a place that our singalong guests have never been before! THANK YOU Team Castle, for making BIFF look so good!! Lets do it again!!

11-11-17, the best day ever. My husband and I are so thankful for The Castle and the wonderful staff that made our wedding day spectacular. Living three hours away is not easy. Jody worked with us and our family to make sure we got exactly what we pictured (including cheese curd bar, Wisconsin beer, burgers and brats)! Our guests were blown away with the venue and hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you want a stress free, unique/beautiful, all in one venue - The Castle is the place for you. I would change nothing and will cherish our wedding day and the magic The Castle added to it for the rest of my life!

We had our wedding held at the CASTLE. It is a beautiful venue for a wedding and reception. Plenty of room. Food was very good. Jodi and Jake were very helpful with organizing the event, ALTHOUGH, if I had to do it all over again, I would have hired my own photographer and dj. Wasnt happy with who they got for us at all. And parking for the guests was terrible.
