We feel so lucky and bless to have Mr. Ray business close by. My daughter went there for this summer for 2 hours karate class and she loves it. They even do after care program and movies night with reasonable price. We love them so much that we definitely will go back after settling down with school this fall. They are highly recommended 👌.

I started to take the classes and fell in love with them so much that I enrolled my son as well. He loves going to class every Saturday morning. I enrolled my son in the Spring break program and he loved it, he was looking forward to waking up every morning at 6am so he could go the academy. He had such a grate time that I enrolled him in the summer program, you can not beat the prices. My sons confidence and self esteem has improved tremendously. I look forward to continue to learn more and more, You are never too old to learn to defend yourself. Thanks to Mr. Ray for all this on going teaching and the staff who assist during the academys for the kids. His wife is supper friendly when she is in the academy. I look forward to the ongoing growth for myself and son in the academy. I would 100% recommend them to everyone.

Ive been a student at FMA for just over 2 years. I am an older woman who was seeking self-defense classes. I am getting that and a whole lot more. I am now a brown belt. I want to have my first degree black belt within the next 1-1/2 years. These are photos when I received my brown belt in February 2021 and my 1st degree blue (and black belt) in September 2020. Im moving right along with the support of Mr. Ray, his staff and my classmates. Its a family-friendly atmosphere with some added martial arts discipline. Its not hard-core. You are primarily learning from a 6th degree black belt --Ray Abrams, the owner. His instructors are mostly young students of his that are 2nd degree black belts and striving for higher degreed belts. I love the challenge of being in class with those who have higher belts than I do. It makes me want to keep going! Theres more than martial arts going on here, after-care, homework help, summer classes. Instruction is for those 2years and UP! I am very happy here! Cant thank Mr. Ray, his wife and amazing staff enough for their dedication and care. I have seen my son transform into a better young man with excellent grades and behavior with the after school program. Mr. Ray is a wonderful role model who has given my son a Male role model to emulate. His wife and staff are so supportive and always ready to assist to the point where I almost forget Im the parent. Amazing experience and services. No regrets whatsoever and highly recommended services. Its like having an extended family and for once my son is actually motivated to do better and be better. This is my sons first year there. We are pleased with the friendly staff, the family oriented environment and a clean place to workout. The after care program has helped me out a great deal! The help my son with his homework and even tutor him in math which he struggles with. He enjoys the karate class and loves their weekly Friday Fun Days.

My whole family attends Fitness Martial Arts, this include my self, my wife and my three little girls(ages 6,4 and 3). Unlike most martial arts places Mr. Ray does not operate a draconian gym, he is very encouraging and helpful. He does not talk down to anyone and adapts his tactics to fit each individual. A lovely place.

My sons have been in Mr. Ray’s program for about three years now, and they both love it. He teaches them discipline, respect, and responsibility, as well as how to build a healthy lifestyle. Mr. Ray has built a community of families that care for one another, and I confidently trust him and his wife with my children. So grateful to have them in the area!! I am a current student at FMA, i an a red belt. Mr. Ray and his wife we all bonded right off the back. The class has a great welcoming atmosphere. My lady and god children love to come, hasnt missed a class. I recommend the class. My personal relationship with Mr. Ray has exceeded my expectations over the month course of me attending the class. Ive had the pleasure of knowing the head instructor for 9 years as a instructor, mentor, and friend. His enthusiastic style of teaching is what made me like him as an instructor and Im happy that he has been able to bring that to his own studio. I must change my 5 to 1 and even 0 if I could.Cant have a conversation with, cant a parent have a different point of view, give out an opinion.... guessing he has anger management issues and 0 priffesionalism. My 2 kids that went to him for 2.5 years were kicked out of his school because I stated that warm ups used to be 10 to 15 min, now they are 25-30 and being that they were testing for black belts in the next 2 months they need some type of a little more than 5 min of attention during their lessons. Totally a matter of having a conversation about and not throwing 2 very well behaved kids out of his school. Very disappointed.

We enrolled my 5 year old son and 3 weeks later enrolled my 15 year old daughter and sister as well. The whole FMA family is very passionate, not only about karate but about community and friendship as well.

I started with FMA less than a year ago with no previous Martial Arts experience. My nephew started and the instructor took me aside and did a few moves with me. I still was not convinced and felt a little uncomfortable about starting in a class with people who have been doing this since they were kids. After my first class, I was so comfortable and felt welcomed that I signed up and my sister signed up my Niece as well. All the instructors work with you at your level and capabilities. If you have any kind of health issue, it doesnt limit you from participating, they adapt but still teach you to be effective. They work to make you stronger not only in your Karate but the whole person. FMA is not just a Karate school, it is a Family of people from all ages and abilities working together to enhance their Martial arts training.

My 3 sons have attended FMA for three years.The environment overall is very kind, nurturing, disciplined ,and comfortable.Over the years I have found that the classes and the environment not only stimulate my sons physically but also mentally.They have learned not only self defense but also perseverance.
