My family joined Jungs Taekwondo nearly two years ago with the hope of having an activity we could all do together. Since then we have not only had quality time with each other and grown closer as a family, but we have each been pushed to be better individuals. Grand Master Jung and her staff are some of the most caring and thoughtful people we have ever met, in addition to being incredibly professional and proficient in their art. I could not have asked for a better experience for my family!

Great academy and new location as of Nov. 2019. The new facility is very nice and spacious. More importantly, Grandmaster Jung and the staff are amazing with kids!

We were at the Boone County fair when this lady approached us who works for this Academy. My son showed interest she took down our information to come in for a free class and the see how he likes it. We got their a little early and Had to wait it for quite a while before someone came out to take my son and try something with him. They came back after a few Minutes. My son said OK lets go I asked him if they are going to talk to us? he said no they were done. The person never talk to me. I thought they explain to you more about the program and what the cost would be and to see if my son wanted to come back and continue. I was very disappointed I had questions I wanted to ask, and to see if maybe my son would like to get involved but we felt more like an inconvenience more than anything. It was a wast of time.

We have been at Jung’s for over a year now. From the first day (when he was 3) till now my son has made many positive changes including respect and self control. All of the staff is very patient and caring. We have decided to sign up for another 2 years and I look forward to see his progress!

Very professionally run school with great instructors. Leadership, fortitude, and discipline tend create confidence and Jungs TKD is awesome at giving kids these tools.

My son started last year at 3 years old. Grand Master Jung has employed several techniques to help increase his self esteem and self confidence. He has learned an excellent foundation of discipline and focus. I highly recommend Jungs TKD to anyone particularly if your child has trouble with focus.

The classes were enjoyable for my son and Grandmaster Jung seemed very knowledgeable in the art of Taekwondo. Please be aware that they use a very aggressive approach to getting you to sign a 1-3 year contract. They promote the free introductory class and once that’s finished they pull you into the office where they pressure you to sign, promising that you are getting all sorts of discounts. Before I even signed they brought my son in in a uniform with his name written in permanent marker. It’s really hard to say no when they have already convinced your child that it’s a go.What they don’t point out during that initial encounter is that there is virtually no way to get out of a contract if the need arises. Essentially, it is the consumers responsibility to thouroughly read the contract, but I think the business should also work on its transparency.

Best Tkd place ever!!!!!!!!! Im a kid and I enjoy this place a lot. It helps with discipline and to get in shape in know time!!!!!

I love the traditional style of Tae Kwon Do, but the business aspect of this gym is sketchy. I signed a contract with a clause that if I moved over 65 miles away I could cancel by phone or writing. Well I cancelled via phone and Jung told me that I wouldnt be charged anymore. Well I stopped payment on the account to cover my end. They attempted to take money out from there on. Then they reported me for an account balance (damaging my credit). I called AAC (their contract company) and they informed me that I had signed something stating that I would $25 a month for 6 months. I told them I had only signed one document initially and that I wanted to receive a copy of the supposed second contract. After a few days, they emailed me saying that they will not pursue me for the money anymore. I have yet to call them to find out why.Other than that, the instruction is great. Beautiful atmosphere and traditional tae kwon do at its finest. Wish I could have continued my training but I had to move away for college.
