This place is the most amazing place ever. Yes, it is a little bit harsh the first two weeks, but if you make it through those first two weeks, the rest of the time will be so much easier. I promise! It helped me improve my discipline, helped me get back on track in school, greatly improved my life skills, and I got my Food Handlers Card and my First Aid CPR Certified Card. Former student and graduate of this school. I was one of the few who made the choice to go here. Others werent given much of an option. Without this place, I would have never received my HSD (1st class accredited). It is NOT easy but it WILL prove to any person going through here they DO have the ability to make the changes in their life.However, to the parents who send their child here, you too have to make changes. You cannot allow yourselves to maintain the same poor habits you expect your kid to change. If you allow them back into your home after becoming a refined and capable human, and dont make your own changes, all of THEIR hard work is at risk of coming undone. Do them and yourselves a service and makes the changes your child is pushing so hard to make.To all the current, and future young men and women joining this school, and they too will tell you, youre going to meet life long friends there, some of you may even enlist there as I did, just remember one thing. This isnt for the current you. This is for the future you, and you as you are now are more than capable of completing the task at hand. Do not falter when times get tough, the pain is temporary and it is worth it. Good luck, Be Safe.

I went there about six years ago and I got a diploma shortly after being there, because one of my credits didn’t count, but what I gained was the ability to commit to something and finish it. I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. Oh forgot to mention that if you put in the work, you’ll see a huge physical improvement!

I sent my daughter there,and was very impressed with how she turned out. She not only got her G.E.D .But came home very respectful.. The change in her was tremendous.i highly recommend this program

This place is great, they really do care about getting your kids on track.

I went to OYCP back in the day, I am now 39. The short time i spent there changed my life for the better. I doubt i would have the same values and work ethic that i do now if i hadnt gone. I recommend it to any 16 year old. I got my GED there and got my life together. I then went to Job Corps for a few years and learned a trade. My son is 13 and I would love to have him go when he hits 16. The main thing to remember is do what you are told and you should get through it. And it will be one of those good memories you will never forget.

I went through this program, and it drastically changed my life for the better. it takes a lot of dedication hard work and believing in yourself! but once you complete and graduate from the program theres no better feeling. During the program it felt like the hardest time of my life, but now that Ive graduated I wish I could go back every day. This program made me who I am today, without this program I would still be homeless and doing all the bad stuff I did before. Thank you OYCP youve changed my life, and to everybody thinking about sending a loved one to this program. I strongly recommend it.
