DRMS has an amazing and caring staff. Our teacher has been a great communicator and gives us feedback on what our little one learns about every day. We love having our kiddo here!

We are thrilled to have our daughter attend DRMS. Very impressed with Elaine (director) and Erika and the teachers in the primary class. The classrooms and light and in short: this is how I would envision the best preschools to be (sad they cant all be this great!). Dedicated, lovely staff.

We have sent two of our children to DRMS over the last 7 years. We absolutely love the school, the teachers and the administration. They are extremely caring and kind individuals who really look after the kids and their well being. The montessori curriculum is wonderful and helps build such confidence for kids. I cant recommend this school enough.

We love being part of the Deschutes River Montessori family! Our daughter has attended since age 3, and we intend to send our younger son as well. The DRMS staff and teachers are so welcoming and truly love being around kids. They are very open to parent involvement and feedback and go out of their way to create a joyful environment for the kiddos to learn and play. The school has managed the covid threat extremely well, keeping the kids healthy and in school. I also recommend the Montessori system as a fantastic way to educate kids. DRMS executes Montessori principles faithfully and effectively.

This is a fantastic school with very dedicated teachers. My son was there for 3 years and we loved every classroom and teacher. It is a very warm and community centered program. You won’t regret sending your kid here.

I left 4 messages and 3 emails over a 3 week period of time inquiring about their enrollment process, cost, summer programs (if any) and never received a response. If this is how they run their school, it scares me to think of how well they communicate with their actual enrolled students and parents. Even if youre not accepting new students at this time, have the common courtesy to return a phone call or email.

Our daughter studied at DRMS for nearly three years in Jenna Waznys class. She (our kiddo) adored her time there and transitioned well to public school afterwards. We dont have enough nice things to say about Jenna and the learning environment she created. She was always available to talk, and worked constantly to improve herself as an educator. We feel lucky and blessed to have been a part of DRMS!
