Jeney and American Beauty Equipment are awesome! They have worked with me since the beginning and have been very helpful. I received all of my equipment to open my new salon and everything was great! One item was not working but they worked with me until the end and I ultimately needed a new one and they promptly sent it out! I recommend them for sure.

Customer service for Online purchases is very challenging. While shopping for parts/ equipment for salon suite space I discovered ABE. Initially I was very happy with my experience, they had just what I was looking for, reasonable prices, and fast delivery. They even took care of a defective part issue.Then when I wanted to replace that defective part things fell apart. Communication was spotty (below thread has missing conversations), no replies to inquiries, or such non-information as to be useless(ex. a $40 shampoo sprayer head is less durable than the $15 head that cracked after 65 days use?!) They even cancelled an order, without asking or informing me, only found out AFTER I made inquiry! Im so dissapointed. Itforced me to go to Amazon, vs buying from a smaller independent business. Sad!

I ordered a hose for my shampoo bowl in September. 8 months later it is leaking. I called customer service to see what they could do and the lady was very unprofessional and rude. She told me there was nothing they could do. I explained there was a 1 year warranty. She told me it didn’t matter.I’ve been in the beauty industry for 20+ years and have never experienced such horrible customer service.

I wanted Takara Belmont equipment when I opened my salon. I shopped online, even flew to TB showroom in Irvine, Ca. American Beauty Equipments customer service and pricing made it all possible. Gina and Jenny were easy to work with and kept me in the loop as to the status of my order and delivery dates. I have twice returned and bought other items and the pricing and service was the same as the first time. Awesome! Thank You

Go elsewhere! They are extremely nice until you buy something expensive. Then you get it to your salon and parts are missing and they have an attitude with you when you call and ask For the parts. Like Jeney who told me to just return the items because she didnt want to send me parts that were missing. So I can see right now that this warranty is going to be useless. They eventually sent the part but after you spend $2,000 on equipment there shouldnt be any hassle. We also have other issues and those are yet to be resolved. For instance my sink faucet that does not lock down to the sink basin. We have no idea how to connect it and they wont tell us how. For some reason a plumber is supposed to know but the licensed plumber didnt and left it alone because that is not his department. We had our father-in-law come out who is a mechanic he doesnt know how and called them and Jeney again was so rude to him as well. We tried to explain this has nothing to do with the plumbing connections. This is a manufacturer defect or missing part. Our salon will never doing business with this company again! They are also called Midwest Salon just beware. I had high hopes for this company and their customer service needless to say I was let down extremely!! I just want others to know be warned before they get involved with a company like this. they do not care about you after you give them your money. They will not respond to emails and will tell you theyll call you right back and not call you.In response to the owner: so the manual and instructions show parts, that are not needed?! It was installed by a licensed plumber. You all are very unprofessional because all I asked for was the parts that were shown in the manual, I even sent pictures of how badly made the headrest suction cups were, one of which will not suction at all! Also asked where to find instructions for connecting the faucet fixture to the bowl (not a plumbing connection issue) which the licenses plumber had never seen before. And all you can think to say in response is that I needed a licensed plumber. Not all licensed plumbers install shampoo bowls for a living. Still never heard back about the replacement headrest. So it just keeps sliding from under our guests heads. And in fact since the bowls were installed Ive noticed that one is turned at a slight angle and not parallel to the chair. But I suppose that was my doing to. You all never have to worry about my business. I expected better customer service. you took the time to write a lengthy review but still no response to the poorly manufactured headrests that came for inside the bowls. No matter what it cost me in shipping I will buy shampoo bowls from a company that excels in customer service. If anything else goes wrong with the bowls they are being tossed! You all never have to worry about me calling to get service under the warranty or cushioning for the seats. I am just that disgruntled!!!! I am sure thats how you all like it!!

We from Granger Indiana and purchased the whole set up with american beauty.We love the purchase and will come again for my next salon. Great people to work with.Me and my husband went to the showroom pick out all the items and pick up most of the order the same day we paid.We received all the rest of the custom made items in yesterday and they are worth every penny i spend.Thank you

Purchased a hair steamer 3 months ago. It stopped working. Contacted ABS to report the problem. She was hard for me to understand. I was told the steamer I bought is no longer in stock and they had no replacement parts no repairs or solution for my unit not working. She suggested I google the solution. .I would not recommend the company. Awful customer relations when you have a problem with their equipment..

Honestly I never write bad reviews even if i had a bad experience. However, this place is dishonest and unprofessional. They were extremely nice over the phone and promised discounts because I was buying a lot of stuff. When it was all said and done , I ended up paying 300$ more !!!If I had not drove here and was not in need of the shampoo bowls, I would have went else where.

My wife purchased 2 Dryer chairs and 1salon chair and they sent the wrong product, we was told to call the manufacturer.We will never shop at this place again and would highly encourage everyone else to do the same

I am pleased to see the equipment that I have ordered. All the equipment that I have received have top quality and look exactly same as pictured. Their shipping process impressed me even more. The way the products were packed to ensure no damage was a sign that American Beauty Equipment is a company with high standards and can be trusted to handle any needs of a barbershop or salon.

We been a customer over 20 years now. I just received my new order about 2 weeks ago. The original backwash stations I purchased from American Beauty Equipment was in 2001 for one of our location .The photos are how nice the original 5 shampoo units looked in the first salon we opened.For my second location me and my wife purchased additional 6 new shampoo wash bowl.For the unit and the customer service and my near 20 years of having them in service should speak for the quality and customer satisfaction.We do take great care of our salon equipment, but I can testify that most average users will get 10yrs with average care.Thanks!Looking forward to dealing with you again.

American Beauty Equipment made opening my new beauty salon so easy! Earlier, I was not sure about buying online and without seeing everything first. But, the equipment cost was much better than local suppliers that made me to choose them. They have provided awesome customer service and helped me to get the equipment I needed in just a few days after I had been trying with one of their competitors for weeks with no success.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I ordered the metallic blue classic jalopy. While it arrived fast, you could tell why- none of the screw holes lined up at all. The guard rails are so loose a child is going to get hurt. The paint is falling off. The stickers dont stick. The steering wheel is so wobbly its unusable. I spoke with Annie who told me to email her the pics- I did- with a video of the poor quality. I never heard back. I emailed again. I finally called and Annie is no longer there.Spoke with Cindy- who told me the warehouse was going to call- have never heard from them. I will never use this company again and I would recommend that you do not use them either. I have gotten several cars from other companies who actually respond to their customers if there is a problem. I will also say that I dont usually leave reviews. But when you pay $1200 for something you expect that it will not be a total piece of garbage. FAIL on all counts for this company.

Fast delivery!! Easy to put together. Steamer works very well. Exactly what I expected. The base is very heavy which is great, it would be hard to tip over. Very professional equipment. Im very pleased with my purchase. Thanks!

Terrible customer service! Even lied about their warranty. The bolt holding the facet onto the shampoo bowl broke after a couple months. They stated over and over to me that they dont cover parts (aka the bolt), just the bowl.So I looked up their warranty policy and it states, Limited warranty items for parts are not subject to return, parts will be sent to fix these items.BUYER BEWARE. They do NOT send parts to fix anything, even within the warranty period.UPDATE:After posting this review I was contacted by Jeney. She looked at the pictures of the broken bolt and sent us a new handle immediately. I moved my 1 start up to 3 since they did end up taking care of the part.

I received my Pibbs beauty Trolley the other day. I dont own a salon though. This is next to my vanity that has a very little storage. This looks so much nice than the sterilite drawer units I was using before, and it fits stuff way better. Plus the top of it is very handy for all the things I want out, but dont want cluttering up my vanity. I think this was money well spent for my needs. Excellent product with great quality. Thanks American Beauty. Strongly recommend!

The worst experience of my life! Delivery promises broken, wrong items shipped, broken items shipped, items missing pieces shipped and items put together wrong!!! Then when I tried to contact them- I was completely ignored. Until the owner, sends me an email stating, i did not solicit you-you solicited me. What a joke. Go elsewhere!!!!!!!!
