Beautiful college. We went to see the Folk Legacy Trio. It was a great show. The main concern was that we parked in the back lot. We are from out of town and had no idea where we were going. The doors were unlocked with no one inside directing. Even as we made our way through the building we didnt see a soul. The people working there were not very helpful. I think this is a safety issue. Even when leaving, the doors were unlocked. Anyone can walk in and cause trouble. My guard was up and I felt somewhat unsafe. Hoping if someone sees this they will make a change.

Motown Allstar Review Band had balcony seats and ok show.

The doors werent open at 7 and we had to stand in line until there was no line, just a lobby full of people. I had arrived at 650 and left at 715 and the doors still werent open. I walk with a cane, there was no place to sit. Not certain if Ill be back for the rest of the Econ Club events if this is going to be standard operating procedure. I was there on Saturday night and that crew had their act together.

Three is good sound in any seat Ive been in.They need more bathrooms.Ingress and egress are very fast, little waiting. The parking lot is the same.Not speaking just of my own, but dont forget to like reviews and photos you like. This helps the reviewer.

This is now being used as a vaccination site in conjunction with Spectrum. The process ran like clockwork. Extremely well organized.

Had a blast at Winter Delights. Everything from the wine & horderves samplings complete with smooth jazz band to the spectacular art & craft show to the entertainment on the main stage, this was the best event I have been to at Mendel. I was a little sad that not a lot of people turned out because let me tell ya, this is the best kept secret on the Mendel calendar. The main stage entertainment was not widely known but they were spectacular: Jig Jam, the Irish Blue Grass Band and Six Appeal, the acapella group performed their hearts out. Great job Mendel on putting on such a wonderful event!

Went for vacine lots of people but ok

Very nice seating; comfortable, spacious, good back rest, handicap accessible on the end seats. The stage had great lighting, the speakers there were very high quality they sounded amazing for every walk up song for our speakers, lots of bass! Over all the event was amazing and inspiring!

Went to see the Russian National Ballet perform Sleeping Beauty. It was utterly delightful. The seats were fairly far back, I didnt find out about this show until late, but this didnt diminish our enjoyment at all. We could see everything perfectly, the stage art and costumes were excellent and the performance magnificent. We eagerly looking forward to our next show here.

Very nice theatre. They consistently bring in good shows. The small theatre is very nice also. I wish they had better concessions, the lines can be really long.

Saw Hairspray yesterday! FANTASTIC performance by the Performing Arts Department! Really enjoyed the singing and acting by so many students and members of the community. The auditorium was full, they got a standing ovation! The ushers and staff were very helpful. What a wonderful day we had- thank you!

Saw Sleeping Beauty performed by the Russian Ballet...beautiful! Also had the Fairy Tale Dinner...wonderful! A night my great-granddaughter will not soon forget

Venue was nice but the ushers didnt seem to feel inclined to keep patrons quiet or in their seats so it was a huge distraction to the enjoyment of the performance. I had taken my daughter to see The Newsies over the summer and the only thing either one of us walked away discussing was the rude family in the center section who let their kids switch rows and seats through both halfs.

The theater needs upgraded, Specifically the seats. The seats in the front and well used and hard. Take the seats from the rear or the balcony to replace them then throw the nasty ones away.

The Mendel Center has such a wide variety of offerings. As a mother of two, it is always wonderful to have so many childrens shows available at such a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Mendel Center is gorgeous. Its clean, nicely laid out, spacious and the staff is great. They bring a great variety of shows to the SWMI Area for kids and adults alike.

I always have such a wonderful time whenever I have tickets to a show here.

I performed at the Mendel Center, and the sound check personnel were excellent. I cant wait to perform there again!

My wife and I went to the box office to purchase tickets for an upcoming event. Bailey, the person on the other side of the glass, was a tremendous help. We picked our seats and she guided us into the theater to show us exactly where the seats were, show us what we would see.Ive purchased tickets many times in the past but never have I been treated with such respect. Hats off to you Bailey.

Nice, comfortable small-town venue for a variety of entertainment. Also a good place for small conventions/exhibits. The volunteers are sweet and helpful.

This is an event center at the college of Lake Michigan, they have seminars and speakers and also have musical events there too, they event center has an intimate type of atmosphere, it is not a giant hall, but a more of a nice comfortable place, i have seen many acts that were popular in the 1960s, and enjoyed them very much

The renovations in Grand Upton Hall are beautiful. Spacious, elegant and comfortable.

Mendel Center is a nice hall. I have been many times for a variety of events including string concerts, theater performances, even a magic show. It is not beautifully decorated, nor are the acoustics amazing, but they bring many excellent preformers and can host quite a large audience.

Went and got our tickets today for Jay and the Americans at The Mendelian center in Benton Harbor. The lady at the ticket office was very helpful by actually taking us into the theater and showing us what seats were available in the section we wanted.

The mendel center is one of the old style really ornate and beautiful theatres and if you get a chance to attend an event here, do it just to see it. Itll be worth it.
