Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman are the best friends and neighbors anyone could ask for. They put their heart and soul in to taking care of horses. I highly recommend them for all of your boarding needs.

My daughter took riding lessons here. Judy is very rude to work with and is definitely not good with children. She rarely started each 1 hour lesson on time, but always made sure to END on time. However, she was definitely a stickler when it came to making sure she received payment on time. Poor communication around canceled lessons and rescheduling. Would NOT recommend.

Great Place

My 88 year old mother and 65 year old sister arrived at the Horse Hotel after midnight a few weeks ago. They had traveled over 500 miles that day with a new mule and already had experienced 2 blown tires. Judy and her husband greeted them at the gate, guided them in and helped them park and unload their animal. From Mom’s description, Judy’s husband really saved the day (or early morning). Thank you for being so kind and helpful to a couple of old ladies!

Holtzman Horses is the best barn for boarding a horse and riding lessons! My daughter has been taking lessons there for 4 years. The owner Judy has taught her so much! The owners Judy and Ray Holtzman are so knowledgeable, I know my horse and my daughter are in great hands!

If you are stopping with your horse in the Little Rock area, I highly recommend Holtzman Horse Motel. Judy and her husband went above and beyond for my horse, Bello, and I. My trailer broke down as soon as I drove off with it to my hotel. I was traveling alone to my new home in Texas and didn’t know what to do. Judy jumped into action and called me a mechanic as soon as I told her my problem and assured me over and over that Bello could stay there as long as I needed to until my trailer was fixed. Her husband came out to help and let us use some of his tools to try to take off the broken axle I had.A few days later, I came back with a trailer to get Bello to our new home. I ended up coming there very late and would be leaving at night. Judy texted me to make sure I arrived to my destination in one piece and to make sure that Bello was ok.These people went above what they needed to and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done. If I ever pass through the area again and need to house my horse for a few hours, I will definitely be using Holtzman Horse Motel again.
