Our community is so lucky to have the NWA Suzuki School of Music! The teachings of Shinichi Suzuki are at the heart of this school. We have been here since the Summer of 2014 and it has been a great experience for both my 7 year old son and myself. They have a great program consisting of two lessons per week, one private and one with a group of kids who are at the same or similar level. Then each month there is a Big Group where all the students play together, as well as various other opportunities for our kids to play in the area. Another great aspect is that Christys school offers several different instruments, Violin, Viola, Cello and Classical Guitar. We are transitioning now from Violin to Cello! The teachers are excellent, patient, informative, and engaged. It is a school that is run from the heart!Most simply, if you want your child to learn music effectively and also with care and kindness, this is the school for you!

Three of my children take violin and guitar lessons at NWA Suzuki School of Music. The community is incredible and the teachers are excellent at bringing the level of musicianship to a high level. Ms. Christy is truly a master teacher of violin and my kids absolutely love working with her. My oldest son loves playing guitar with Jim Stieren, and is having a great time. He practices more at home than he ever did taking other lessons.
