My children have attended Walnut Farm for over six years starting at age 18 months in the Toddler program and now in the Elementary program. A Montessori environment has nurtured their love of learning--from reading, science, and art, to math, music, and practical life--and helped to prepare them for the greater world around them. They love the outdoor environment and the kind and supportive teachers and staff. Learning and growing in a Montessori environment has enriched their lives, as well as mine as a parent. We are fortunate to have a nationally-accredited Montessori school such as Walnut Farm here in Northwest Arkansas.

Our 2 year old grandson attends here. The teachers are fantastic. They teach based on ability and needs of individual students. A great place to learn a wide variety of mental and physical tasks. A real WOW place.

My son has been going to Walnut Farm Montessori for almost two years. He started at 18 month in the Toddler program and has now graduated to Elementary. He loves it and my wife and I are so impressed with his progress. We love the natural environment and the opportunity he has to play and learn outside. The teaching and administrative staff are great the school is a good value for the money.

Our son started here when he was 18 months old. It was the first time he had ever been cared for outside of the home and he took to it instantly. The toddler environment is so peaceful and the children learn so many practical life skills. He recently moved up to the primary class and is thriving. He comes home happy every day with stories to tell and new friends. We cannot wait for our 1 year old to start at Walnut Farm in August. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, philosophy, and environment at Walnut Farm Montessori. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the roll you have played and will continue to play in our childrens lives. We will be forever grateful.

My family has been very happy with our experience at Walnut Farm. The staff and teachers are amazing! The small class sizes allow for more one on one interaction with the students. The teachers are able to connect with students in a way that you cant in a traditional school. My kid loves the natural playground and I love that they have an outdoor classroom. Wish I would have had a school like this when I was a kid!

There are so few alternatives to traditional education in northwest Arkansas. There are plenty of private schools, but very few that are not faith-based. More importantly, very few who are as tolerant, inclusive, and focused on raising children to honor peace and civility and to appreciate the natural world around them.Montessori is not daycare. It is not even your traditional school. Children at Walnut Farm are empowered to do things for themselves, and to study that which interests them most. In addition to several well appointed Montessori classrooms they also have a few unique features such as an outdoor classroom where children are learning life skills including gardening and caring for animals. The school also has a natural playground with features literally carved from the forested hillside.I see my son growing into a confident, warm, caring, and intelligent young man at Walnut Farm. He loves to read, do math, and invent things. He is fascinated by and in love with every kind of animal. He loves his teachers and his classmates. When kids reach school age, we rely on the school to mold them into the people we want them to be. Schools have the kids from 8 to 3 most days, leaving just 4 or 5 hours with their parents. If they are going to play that big a role in the development of my child... then I feel strongly about choosing a school that not only does a good job educating my child, but also teaches him to grow up tolerant of the many differences in people around the world.Walnut Farm accepts children from 18 months through 12 years of age. The school serves through the equivalent of 6th grade.

Best place for my kids to learn and grow! We have been a part of the community for 5 years and during this time my children have learned how to be independent, how to be respectful of their peers and teachers, and they have learned a love to learn. They are both working well beyond their grade level and get to do so in an environment that allows them to be their best. We love that Montessori principals are incorporated during the day and then encouraged to be lived at home.

I know that my babysitter taught at Montessori school and has a bunch hands on toys for learning... it doesnt seem like the Montessori way teaches your kid anything valuable at all like reading math and science.. just blocks and stuff.. but I only pay her $100 a week and money is tight sooo it will have to do #timesarehard

What an uppity bunch of nonsense. $1400 just to get in the door if I pay monthly. My kids arent welcome for a tour, and if I bring them anyways Ill be asked to leave for causing a distraction. What? These are 3-4 year olds. Ill take my kids and money someplace else.
