Great school with great classmates. Love that its an accelerated course, so no need to spend months to complete. Loved my instructors Kaylee and Chrissy, they made sure we understood what we were learning before moving on, enjoyed the hands on experience as well. Would highly recommend the course to anyone looking to become a dental assistant.

Thorough program that left me feeling confident with the knowledge that I’ve gained! Krissi was the best instructor. She prepared everyone who was willing to learn, and always made us feel comfortable if we had questions. Would definitely recommend if you want to get into the field quickly.

Awesome program. Loved every second of it. Instructors actually care whether or not you pick up on the skills and they made it really easy to fall in love with the profession

Great program! They prepare you as much as possible for a ten week course and go out of their way to make you prepared. Krissi was my instructor. She’s extremely experienced and a great teacher!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience at this school. The first two weeks, we had no hands on experience and just watched YouTube videos. Then we had two weeks off for snow and were told we would have a Zoom call to go over the material and catch up on learning, but that never happened for the first snow day. The second time, we just took that weeks test and got the study guide for the next one. There was no learning or teaching. Also, we went through 4 teachers. Two of them hadn’t even taught for the program in a year. Every time we had someone new, they had to learn where we are in the learning and tests and then learn where everything is in the office, and that lost us quite a bit of time. The instructors were all wonderful- it was all just pretty unorganized.Besides that, the director of the program was very unkind to us all. Our class came to her with these problems and told her how we felt we hadn’t had enough hands on training due to only doing things hands on for 6 out of the 10 weeks and our instructors leaving early every class, and she responded with defense and no blame. We paid almost $4000 to have very little training. Our class came together and spoke to the director and explained why we felt we should have some sort of partial refund due to only having hands on learning 6/10 weeks, and we were ignored. The only solution offered was to come back on future Fridays to get more hands on experience, but we had all just taken the last 10 weeks of Fridays off and were looking for full time dental assisting jobs.I now work with 4 other people who went through this program, and they all had similar experiences, felt very unprepared, and said it was not worth the money or the time.P.S. There is a school in Fayetteville that pays you to learn how to become a dental assistant!!

You can’t expect to learn every single detail about dentistry in 10 weeks, but NWADAA does a great job at providing a firm basis. The required job shadowing hours helped me get a job before I even finished the program. Krissi is an amazing, fun instructor with vast experience. She made sure we learned in more detail when the learning by the book was too vague. She definitely needs a raise! My only reason for giving 4 stars is that the communication from the people who run the program could be very unclear and lacking, which was frustrating.

Not impressed with this program. I didn’t receive the type of experience that is advertised. If you are looking to learn fully and get a lot of hands on this is not for you. Communication from Rachael is poor and it was a waste of time for me. The amount of money we pay for this course was not what I got out of it. I left feeling very unprepared. I personally wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone.

Highly disappointed in this school...would not recomend it. They have not provided my daughter with a certification or license after completing the course. Communication has been poor at best.
