Jaren is an amazing piano and music teacher! He is great with kids and grown-ups. He is joyful and cares so much about the learning experience. His patience and spirit make lessons something we all look forward to in our house. He also manages to connect personal interests to music theory and skills in a way that is highly customized to his students needs. Highly recommend!

Jaren is a great piano teacher! During the pandemic, he has provided engaging, fun and very musical lessons for my 6 year old. He sends custom arranged pieces by request and he does a great job of inspiring musical curiosity. We love Jarens piano lessons!

Jaren is a passionate musician and teacher. Hes got an abundance of enthusiasm so that even across the iPad screen his presence leaps into our living room and galvanizes the best efforts from our otherwise shy and tentative, but also distractible eleven year old son. He starts by teaching his students what they want to play and gradually leads them towards the building blocks of music theory and piano technique. Jarens creative approach and upbeat energy are a winning combination for any kiddos who might need a little extra support sticking with piano.

Jaren is very good to work with, as he listens and is able to customize your lesson to what you would like to learn (music style and genre) what you need to learn (technique, dynamics and musicianship) as well as instilling confidence, ambition and adaptabiluty and all for a very reasonable tuition fee. My son has been playing guitar and piano for five+ years. His previous piano teacher advised us to find another tutor. He had hit a plateau with him. It was hard to find a good piano teacher in our area. There arent very many good options. I am so glad we found Jaren. He is a talented piano player, an excellent piano instructor. He is skilled in his craft and brings a wealth of knowledge. Jaren is very diverse in many genres. My son has attention deficit disorder. Every week Jaren comes prepared with new music, concepts, lessons for my son. He enjoys the songs that he assigns. It helps keep him motivated and interested. Jaren shares his learning experience and is very encouraging. My son learns a new concept in each lesson. I can already see a difference from his previous piano instructor.
