I did the basic life support for healthcare workers CPR training. There was an online portion that was very confusing because it was trying to be adaptive but merely ended up being out of order and unclear. I dont recommend selecting the adaptive option there. The in-person portion of the training was fine, much easier to understand, and the instructor (Jeff, I think) was knowledgeable and answered our questions. Overall, a fine experience and I do believe I know how to respond in an emergency from the training.

Nina H. was my instructor for my BLS course and she was phenomenal! As a healthcare provider, I have taken many CPR renewal courses throughout my professional career, and this one taught by Nina was by far the best one. She is very knowledgable with her extensive experience as an EMT, highly passionate about what she does, and makes class enjoyable. Learning the material was so effortless as Nina reiterates high-yield concepts and provides good feedback as we practiced our skills. I feel well-prepared and confident to respond to an emergency. I highly recommended taking the CPR course with Nina from Safety Training Seminars!

This is my 3rd time using their service to recertify my BLS CPR training and they have been great. The teachers are fabulous and are knowledgeable, welcoming, and well organized to give thorough & safe learning environment. Plus they have multiple locations throughout the Bay Area to make it easy to find a close convenient location.

The hybrid format was easy to fit into my schedule, the price of the class was fair, and they have lots of time slots for the in-person skills testing. This made it really easy to do my CPR/First Aid recertification for my job as an early childhood educator.

Our BLS instructor, Connor, gave us critical information on how to deal with real world life saving situations using our basic level of knowledge and skill. He clearly defined the important differences on how to deal with infants, children and adults. Connor had a calming personality which enhanced the classroom learning. The location in Berkeley was easy to find with many restaurants dotting University Ave.

Interactive, interesting class although the examples used and curriculum only included male-bodied patients. At the very least, they could use gender-neutral language when describing patients to be more inclusive of women and other genders! Didnt address working with transgender patients (especially when describing gender-based symptoms of heart attacks, the instructor didnt know how hormones and different transition stages would affect those symptoms).

I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs to get certified in both CPR/First Aid. Nina is an amazing instructor and really helpful. I needed a course that would allow me to get back to work and not miss a full day, and I participated in a 9am course which then allowed me to return to work right after. I know a lot of us cant afford to miss work, so their 9am class works for those of us like myself.

I took my BLS renewal today. I found safety training seminars online. I arrived 10 minutes early and there was a long line for check in. (Tip: If you need to use the restroom during class, its outside the suite, down the hall , to the left.) The class was fun. Our instructor , Karl, was engaging and very animated. He told stories of situations that he had been in as a firefighter and as part of an EMS response team. It made many concepts memorable as we reviewed the course material. He made sure there was not a lot of repetition in the class. He was very straightforward and stressed what would be important in emergency situation. He was efficient in correcting our exams. I was also able to get CE credit as well as my BLS certification. Overall, I had a great morning and I plan to come back in two years.

Overall the class was good. Instructor was great and very knowledgeable. The only set back with the berkeley location is parking. There are not many parking garages available, and if you find one you will be paying at least $15 for the day. The other options are street parking which only has a maximum of 2hours so you would have to leave during class to move your car. But the instructor was very understanding of the parking situation and had no issues with people leaving during class to move their cars. I would recommend this company but maybe try the other locations if parking is an issue for you.
